Ironkage has been reborn upon the world. Millennia ago Sheldrin had been an initiate within the Sisterhood of Elune, wishing nothing more than to serve Elune below her idol, Tyrande Whisperwind... but perhaps we should go back further...
She grew up a rogue. Making her own living in the wilderness, occasionally pilfering from merchants and travelers, though her favorite pastime was playing harmless(mostly) tricks and pranks on people.
Sheldrin took on the nickname Kage from one of her favorite childhood stories. A young rogue named Kage lived his life as he saw fit. If he was hungry he ate, if he was bored he had fun, if he saw bandits making prey of innocent travelers he would... take care of the situation. She loved this way of life. Living free seemed to be the only way she could attain happiness.
Until one day when she happened upon a small group of Priestesses. They had apparently been on their way to Moonglade, to hold a prayer service for Malfurion Stormrage who was still in the Dream, at the behest of Tyrande when they were attacked by bandits. She dove into the fray, apparently welcomed warmly by the Sisters, as they used what mana they could muster to imbue her with Elune's grace. It wasn't much at this point, but plenty for her to take care of the business at hand. That was until the bandits leader arrived.
These kel'dorei had made a pact with a very sinister being. A Satyr of great strength appeared from thin air before them. As the youngest priestess screamed in horror Kage dove at him. While considering herself an outcast, she had grown up hearing of demons, satyrs, and other such abominations. She knew that there could be no good reason for a being such as this to be so close to the Moonglade and knew she was the only thing between it and innocent Druids who would be ill-equipped to fend it off before the Wardens arrived.
Even with the 6 priestesses helping her she was in no manner a match for the fiend. But just as the final blow was about to be lowered upon her a great column of light erupted around them. She had never felt anything like it. Every fiber of her being felt energized. It was as if her very being had been reborn. And just as the beast screamed in agony she drove her dirk deep within it's chest. She felt a rush of pain jolt her body. The hatred, and sheer abominable energy of the monster had coursed through her body for a split second and the only thing she could do was fall to her knees, trembling in fear. The last thing she saw before falling to darkness was the satyr disappearing in a flash.
A few days later she awoke to find one of the most beautiful Elves she had ever seen sitting beside her bed. She introduced herself as Tyrande Whisperwind, high priestess of Elune. Sheldrin immediately gasped, and attempted to get up so she could show the proper respect, but felt pain shoot throughout her body at the attempt. The woman calmed her, and told her that pleasantries were not needed, as she had risked her life to save the lives of the sisters.
As the story was related to her, one sister had escaped and made a desperate please to Elune for help. Tyrande herself received the plea as a vision of the battle played out for her. Luckily she had been conferring with an Elf of the arcane at the time, speaking of each side sending a small number to the other side to study, and understand the differences that had developed between the divisions of elves.
Upon hearing of Tyrande's vision, he immediately opened a portal to the scene. As soon as they arrived the high priestess called out to Elune, and immediately erected a column of the purest, whitest light any there had seen in their lives. Tyrande pleaded for the stranger to pull back, and let her handle the Satyr. But just as the words were leaving her mouth the girl plunged her blade into the Satyr, and she knew it may be too late for her.
The mage immediately sprung to action, teleporting the fiend to the nether, while Tyrande and the sisters tended to Sheldrin.
These events were an epiphany to Kage. She had felt the power, and love of Elune and decided to join the sisterhood then and there. And Tyrande being who she was, allowed it. She knew that without preparation, and as a spur of the moment action even she could not have drawn out so much of the power of Elune there. The girl was the conduit she needed. She may have been blessed by Elune herself, and Tyrande intended to see how far she could go.
Tyrande gave her the name Whisperwind, and took her under her tutelage personally. Over the centuries they became as close as any mentor/pupil can be, basically to the point of being sisters. Until the day she did not wake up. She had fallen to The Nightmare, and was trapped somewhere within The Emerald Dream. Tyrande spent many days praying over her, and over Malfurion pleading with him to save the girl.
Recently she was found within the Dream. Tyrande would find out later why Elune smiled down upon the girl so lovingly that day, and why she could never quite become a priestess through the centuries. Cenarius himself had blessed her conception. She played a major part in the liberation of the Dream from the Nightmare. She had been training as a priestess, and had never once even attempted to learn the druidic arts. But during the battle she had exhibited great power.
When she desperately tried to escape from a group of shadow fiends she found that they had all been rooted to the ground. When she dug her weapon into the arm of a shadow beast vines sprouted from the wound and immobilized it. Inexplicable things continued to happen around her, and many druids took notice including Malfurion himself.
As the Nightmare was banished to The Rift, and those who survived the Nightmare began to awaken, Malfurion sought the girl. Though he would find her more quickly than he could have hoped. He visited his beloved, Tyrande, only to find her tending to the girl personally.
After sharing stories, it all made sense to Malfurion and Tyrande. The girl had been bound by fate to the Druidic arts. She was immediately sent to the Ban'Ethil Barrow Dens to begin her training.
She is still a very freespirit, and loves doing things her own way. It would not be surprising to see her jumping from roof to roof, or hiding in the shadows of an alley waiting to pop out and scare someone. But she is also very dedicated. The orders of a superior will be followed to the T. Even if said order requires killing animals, or small destruction of nature she will do it. She also despises any abomination of nature. It would not be surprising to find her massacring an encampment of Grell or Satyr as we speak.
And that is where this story begins.

Ironkage(Wyrmrest Accord-US) is Sheldrin Whisperwind. Once a rogue, converted to Elune, awakened as a Druid. Even if I fail this challenge I'll probably keep playing with her occasionally. Been awhile since I've RPed properly, this could be fun. I'll add her to the tracking site when she hits 10.
