Welp, that's the end of the monk.
Long story short, I get massive UI lag spikes at time. It doesn't really happen with game connection, ie freezing in the middle of fighting a mob. It's just UI. Somehow, when trying to click the Shadowmeld I keep in a big shiny button on the upper left side of my screen, I picked a talent, because I was looking at talents beforehand out of boredom, and wanted to log out for a few minutes in a fairly dangerous area, since family called. I'm a little disappointed it came to an end like this, instead of like a blaze of glory on my Warlock, getting roflstomped by elites. I'm not deterred, though. It was good timing to die. I'm moving my reincarnations over to my main server since I'm pretty starved for money after splurging on stupid stuff, and need what I can get. Plus, I just like having all the characters I play on one realm.
This is probably my most embarassing way to go out, besides dying to a campfire in Wetlands after going afk for 20 minutes to make some food.
I am sad that I had just done some sweet transmog not even 5 minutes before. Used the weapon enchant illusions I splurged on and everything. Whatever.
I'm using my hunter I had kept on Sargeras just in case I died. I've gotten rather used to the luxury of a pet after speeding my Warlock from 1-60 in, like, 2 weeks, and miss that. Cheers!

Took a while, but we're back! I've jumped between specs at least 5 times a level and it's getting frustrating because they're all good. Not much happened in the run to 20. Same old stuff. edit: Well, something did happen, just remembered. Just on other toons. Got both Time-Lost Proto Drake and Aeonaxx mounts in like 2 days lol. TLPD was a breeze, just got a group of 5 and waited it out, luckilly he spawned first go after killing 1 Vyragosa early morning. And Aeonaxx I just kinda flew to Deepholm to check it out on a toon on a super dead server and he was just sitting there. So I've met my two ultimate mount goals since Wrath came out in 2 days. Neat.

Forgot I even had this thread running. Oops.
Well, I'm back for now, I guess. My hunter is now level 42 and is sitting in Western Plaguelands, but I'm favoring my new arcane/frost mage I started up the other day. Sits at 26 in Duskwood. I've recently downloaded plays.tv and I'm thinking about compiling all the good stuff into a video of sorts. Maybe "Highlights of X character, level 30-40". That sort of thing. Much more interesting than reading it, in my honest opinion.

Formatting might be a little screwed up, apologies if so.
Almost died a little bit ago at level 45. Luckilly, nowadays, I always have plays.tv running so you can see me panic and choke super hard as I SOMEHOW come out alive. My pet was passive for half the time and I don't think I used the redirecting shot until super late.
Moral of the story: Don't run through caves trying to get out super fast if mobs are close to respawning.
Edit: Watching this through again makes me laugh. I was just simultaneously so lucky and so UNLUCKY. My feign death didnt work, I was clicking the wrong targets, I accidentally shot at the spiders that I put in freeze trap. I don't know how I came out alive, it's hilarious. Shoutout to the troll priest who pretty much watched me get mauled to near death.

Quick update just so I don't forget to post, hehe. I thought this was pretty funny, although at the time I was livid. I was barely half a second away from getting the tag first. Serves me right for trying to play on Sargeras. Rest of my toons are definitely moving back to Wyrmrest Accord, lol. My hunter sits at level 52 in Winterspring, freshly specced to Survival after reaching the level where Raptor Strike or whatever it's called does insane damage. I also started a few new toons, and deleted my mage. It was getting super boring as Arcane, and I simply don't enjoy Frost or Fire's playstyle, even if more engaging than Arcane. I'll likely pick it up again, but I'm not going to miss it. I was only level 28 and I went on massive rare-killing sprees so I didn't really waste that much time leveling it. I remember deeply loving playing warrior on my first or second greenman before I died to Direglob due to thinking I was, to put it in French, hot shit. So I started up a new warrior that I powerleveled to 10 which I will play on the side. I also decided to pick up the normal ironman challenge alongside my greenman. You see, after watching streams and videos (Like Per0tin, various clips in these forums) I was immediately turned off by ironman. I used to enjoy the grind when it was reasonably rewarding, but I no longer had a taste for it. I'm not a very patient person. Ironman before 7.3.5 was testing me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. After that, my interest just veered off a cliff. Lately, though, after playing greenman so much and finding it rather easy at times, I decided to just pick up ironman again for a change in pace. This would be my first ironman character I would play in a little under a year, as I parked my 80 monk in Hyjal right after 7.3.5 hit after getting scared away by the rock elementals nearly killing me 5 times. I'm definitely not going to powerlevel this toon. I'm planning on just playing it when I feel like I'm getting ahead of myself on Greenman. I'm going to try out Warlock instead of Hunter which is SUPER meta at the moment for iron. Although Warlock is squishy, I know more about it on challenge toons than I do with hunters. I think I've only had 1 iron hunter in my lifetime which I deleted at 40. (I have a problem with deleting characters I get bored of.) And my current greenman hunter. I feel like I know warlock relatively well on a playing field like ironman, and I just overall enjoy the rotation and pace more than Hunter. Plus, better pet, I believe? I'm going to have a hard time staying ahead of the curve, as I have mentioned I am SUPER impatient and HATE the idea of grinding out, for example, all Vanilla endzones to get to 62 before going to Outland/Northrend. Call me stupid (which I am.) But it's my personal challenge, and I like it that way. Making the iron a Blood Elf, a tribute to my greenman warlock I lost at 60 during the summer. Fairly large picture, but it's whatever.

So I've played about....ehhhh.... 2 or 3 hours since my last post 9 hours ago. Sorry about the spam! I'm already level 57 on my Hunter and I'm having a CRAZY amount of fun!!! I switched to Marksmanship a little bit after posting my update and it was my best decision so far in this challenge. Aimed Shot + Arcane spam? Pretty much a two shot. I'm having an INSANE amount of fun running around doinking things in the skull. I should have done this way sooner. I think the early levels of Marksmanship turned me away since it was really slow without Arcane damage buff after using Aimed Shot. I forget what the ability's called. I feel a little bad about playing Greenman, honestly. I feel extremely overpowered and I feel like it's defeating the purpose of a challenge in the first place. But you never know. If Greenman is so easy, why hasn't everybody reached max, y'know? I think I'm just getting to the hard part. I'm very scared of Outland/Northrend, as they're responsible for a lot of my COMBAT related deaths. AKA being too cocky, etc etc. I think this cockiness is good for me. Eventually I'll get whooped and learn to take it back a notch after living with a sliver of life. Greenman is a little fast. Some may call it easy. I don't mind it too much at the moment. I hope to reach max level before I can make adjustments to Greenman (aka less armor LOL) to make it feel a little bit more like a challenge. I'm happy right now. Grinding and slowness is not my forte, so I'm enjoying this while I can. I've also turned off all sounds in the game except Ambience, which is turned up to max, and about 10% sound so you can hear if you aggro something. I HIGHLY recommend this for challenge toons! Music is lovely in many zones, but the sheer terror some zones give you with the ambience alone makes it feel so much more immersive. Eastern Plaguelands is nightmarish all alone. Constant wind, spooky noises. Winterspring is awesome with high ambience. Extremely loud wind makes you feel like you're trapped in a snowstorm. Right now I'm in darkshore to push to about 58 before topping off in Blasted Lands. Darkshore is by FAR the scariest ambient zone I've experienced so far. Screaming in the background, constant bug chirping, sounds of spirits. It also has a lot of trick noises, weirdly enough. Near the naga area, you hear something akin to an alarm. It's probably an animal, but I had to check on my own alarm multiple times before realizing it was just the game. Near the Tower with the undead guy and the book, you hear faint clicking, like you're hearing super delayed feedback of your mouse into a mic. It's thrown me for a loop a lot of times, and it's almost bordering on annoying, but the natural ambience is amazing. I really recommend it for challenge toons. Obligatory quirky image to end off my post. Last minute in Winterspring, ready to hike up my skirt and run after so much owl/bear/cat grinding. I love the zone, but damn if these quests are annoying. ---- Editing, because I feel bad about adding another post after the spam! xP I've decided to take a small break from normal WoW. I'm unable to hang out with my friends on other games and it's affecting my social happiness, unfortunately. Normal WoW is so unimmersive and unsocial, it's quite upsetting. I've decided to move to private servers for a while. I'm starting out on WOTLK (Sunwell), and might even attempt Ironman on Sunwell, even though the xp gains are 2x until level 70? I think? I'm not sure. I have to become very comfortable to attempt that though. Cheers!

I equipped a rare ring at level 59, and mucked it up even more by putting it in the other ring slot as well before realizing it was blue quality. I'm never doing the "alt" method of looking for better gear in your character pane again. This is the first time I've ever screwed over a character like this, as I'm usually super attentive to my gear. I have Dugi Quests for the objective frame and it has a built in "gear suggester" and I'm super good with being very careful at clicking ignore this item, equip it. If the box pops up I'm usually staring at the screen for a good 10 seconds, hoping I don't suddenly go colorblind and think blue is green. Shouldn't have used the alt method, because I had just figured it out (yeah, after dozens of years) and thought it was easy. Nope. Not paying attention to gear.
I'm kinda pissed at myself for ruining my character like that, especially so close to 60. But I'm oddly glad it wasn't combat related. I would be more mad at myself dying when this character is pretty damn powerful all by itself, with the help of a +28 agility bow I got in Darkshore.
I'm also mad it was in the few hours or so I was going to play on this character for a while since the private server I was playing on wasn't working for me before school. So. Haha.
I will definitely reroll as Hunter. This was super fun the whole way and I don't regret a single moment. Although I am going to reroll as Night Elf, because female humans look really bad in a lot of mail gear xP
I'm gonna reroll on the lowest populated server in the game, Ravenholdt. I saw maybe 4 rares in my entire run to 59 and it was super frustrating, so maybe a low server will help me get back up quicker.
Edit: For those of you who don't know just how dead Ravenholdt is, I'll throw an example. While camping for my TLPD with a few randos in a group on this server, our fifth member went out to the rest of Northrend and killed all rares they could find to maybe make our drake spawn quicker (it didn't, by the way. The alleged rare cap is fake.) and while flying through NORTHREND which is NOTORIOUS for having NO RARES UP EVER because they're all killed instantly and have insane spawn timers, she killed 12 on her first run. Twelve. Another run later, she had killed every single rare in Northrend on both runs combined except for Sholazar's rares, which I think despawn after a certain time. I'm going to have a fun time.

Helloooo! I'm kinda back. The private server thing isn't working out so well due to technical issues, so I'm back for now c": I've leveled up my new hunter to 35 today. Ashenvale is, quite possibly, the longest lasting zone in the entire game that I've experienced now. Whenever I used to run through Ashenvale on previous toons, I would do it just to get some extra XP to go somewhere else in Kalimdor or just get up to 25 so I can go to STV and do a normal EK route, but I did the whole thing today for the first time and... oh boy. It took me 4+ hours to complete the zone, maybe even 5. I'm a pretty fast leveler, I think, so this was pretty excruciating in the pace category. But the questlines I never experienced before were... actually kinda fun. The Furbolg Uprising was insanely fun, and I had a close call with Baebob or whatever its name is in the West. I had an overall fun time doing these quests, and it definitely changed my view on Ashenvale forever. I used to HATE coming here, but I think it's mostly because of the intro quests being boring. Now, after having a fun time, I think I'll come through here more often. I'm in the southern quest hub to head into Stonetalon, and my plan of action is to finish Stonetalon by tonight hopefully, and then skip Desolace and go over to Feralas. I'm hoping to tame the rare wolf in the North since I won't be going to Eastern Kingdoms in my leveling route on this character until Blasted Lands to top it off if I'm missing XP to go into Northrend/Outlands, I'm not sure. Obligatory cool screenshots! The rare spree I'm going on for this character is actually INSANE. I should have moved to Ravenholdt LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ago. I have killed EVERY SINGLE RARE in EVERY ZONE I have quested in on the first try hunting for them. The only exceptions were the gnoll sage in Loch Modan, which I killed after returning about 10 minutes later, and 2 in Ashenvale, which I didn't go to their spawn points because they were too out of the way. It's actually crazy! If you're looking for a rare-oriented leveling experience on your toon, I highly recommend leveling on Ravenholdt. If you're Alliance on NA, you might miss out on the social aspect of the WRA guild (You guys are so cool and helped me through so much on my iron monk! Made everything a little bit more bearable). Depends on what you value! I'm missing the chatting, but I really want to level, haha.. It's dead with WM on and off. I went on a trial toon for my mage so I could tame a second Loque'Nahak (I know, I'm slimy.) for my hunter on a high populated server via Custom Group altf4 shizz, and I ran into him twice with WM on and WM off. (I didn't tame him. The first time I let somebody else tame him and the second I messed up and killed him on accident :sob:) I've had a fun day. I'm having an amazing time on this character and I have a good feeling about leveling to max. Hopefully I don't screw it up in BFA, the only expansion that has content I'm scared of xP. Cheers :-D

I can't even be mad. I was in a rush and didn't mind my cooldowns. Totally my fault. Gonna reroll immediately though, don't want to get too caught up in the frustration. Level 38.

After nonstop playing today, I've successfully grinded from level 19-36 for 9 - 10 hours, give or take. I'm playing a lot more safe with my disengage, since that's how I died in the post above. I didn't know you couldn't get back up to the quest hub with the rockets, so I jumped down and tried to disengage to save me from fall damage... didn't work because it was on CD xP. I usually do a lot of disengage jumps in my challenger toons for efficiency, and I've never died once from it, or even gotten close. I've played hunter for a very long time, I know disengage like the back of my hand. Failed me at the worst moment, I guess, hehe. I'm sitting in Feralas at level 36, about to log off. (This quest in Darkshore makes me chuckle every time I do it despite having done Darkshore upwards of a hundred times in my life ) Ravenholdt proves to be...pretty dead. My route on this toon has been Teldrassil, Loch Modan, Wetlands, some of Arathi, Darkshore, Feralas, so far. I've seen every single rare that I've bothered to chase except for the wind serpent in Western Feralas, and Mirelow in Wetlands. My adventures on my trial toon just checking out how dead it is in Northrend continue, with seeing Loque'Nahak again twice, with one sitting untouched for upwards of 8 hours. I love this server.

Posts are gonna slow down from now on. I'm (finally) getting into endgame content after neglecting to do so for the past few months and I'm enjoying it. Plus, I've been crazy sick with migraines as of late and playing for a long time hurts. Not much has happened since my last post, except I dinged 39, officially beating my last hunter. Feralas... does not give enough quests. Period. I went there at 36.5 or 37, can't remember, and the last quest in the entire zone was what made me ding 39. Now I have to go back to Desolace and quest out the rest of the level which I am NOT looking forward to. I'm a little mad it ended up that way since Desolace is the worst zone in the entire game (besides Durotar) in my humble opinion, so I'm gonna get some rested XP before I grind it out.
I also started a bloodthirsty! Vicblud, a night elf rogue. I didn't choose hunter because I'm getting pretty sick of hunters, frankly, lol.

After a long 3 day grind, I finally unlocked my favorite race after neglecting to do so for the past... 10 months or so. Nightborne. I'm incredibly happy and plan to do any ironman attempts on that character, as the 1-20 grind is my least favorite part of the game. I deleted my belf warlock and remade her into a nightborne warlock. I knew I would get bored of the BELF really easilly, so I just swapped. I have a problem with deleting characters, yes, but I'm happy.
My hunter reached 40, my warrior is still at 10, and my rogue reached level 13 and is about 70% of a level rested right now. I'm going to play the shit out of my new iron warlock.
