Are there still people that do the ironman challenge on US WRA? I rolled a Draenai Hunter there and am looking for a guild. No one seems to be on the iron channel.

We still are a few doing the challenge. Myself I've been busy playing other toons and doing other stuff this week-end, but I'll go back to my iron toons later this week

Started back at WoW after long time gone -- specifically to try the Ironman approach. I'd love to know how to make contact with anyone who is on WA who can give a bit of encouragement I just started a hunter, Itchyfinger, and will probably start another just to sort of see which I want to continue with. I do admit that I am amazed at the number of Druids and Priests --have NO idea how either of those would do. Also, xay, I would love to do a monk -- but do you go back and do any of the skill tests as you level? That Monk route seems wildly confusing to me. Then again, so does much of life.

welcome Mojo!
if by 'skill test' you mean the monk masters in Pandaria, they were very hard without Healing sphere before WoD, and I haven't tried them yet on my current toon

You can go and do the monk quests, rules say you can complete any quest you want! And you can't die while fighting them, I tested it, it ends at 1 hp. They get quite difficult later but I was able to still do them at 67.

I started the Ironman Challenge today on WRA. The characters name is Cullann. He is a Dwarf Shaman. I made it to Westfall and he's level 12 so far. The only fight that has been even close was the Hogger fight. It seems a little slower but nothing to difficult so far.

Welcome to Cullann and Doctor Bear....
Yes, we're still doing this stuff. If not sure, pick a Night Elf something, like hunter, druid, or monk. (The ShadowMeld is a life saver when properly used.)
Not too difficult yet Cullann? Don't worry, once you get into mid-20's, dynamics change. 1-20 seems overpowered, 30-100 seems underpowered.
Good luck ! Whisper for a guild invite (wowironman)

Hi, tanee here. I long time ironman challenger. Be sure to check out my guide.
I would like to say that I made a toon on Wyrmrest, and i sure learned a lot about erp there. I learned so much that every time I was questing in Goldshire, I turned off chat.
Haven't started any new ironman, not sure if i will & not even sure if i'll go to 100. The thought of dying after 90 just brings shivers down my spine.
For all those who don't know me, I have a 90 hunter, priest, druid, pally. That's how much i enjoyed ironman.
Good luck to all & have fun.

Hi Tanee! It's great to see you again! I hope you will think about joining us on Wyrmrest at least to chat in guild. The usual suspects are still around along with a lot of new faces. Leveling 0-90 now is significantly harder than it was in MoP and there are some nasty little surprises in the form of mobs that didn't get properly squished. If you decide to go 90-100, i'd strongly suggest running a scout to get an idea of how strong your abilities are against various levels and kinds of mobs, ideally one with no spec and iron gear but if you have a normal at the right level you could probably remove glyphs and set up a bar with only the skills that an iron would use, along with iron gear. 90-96 will vary with class, but get redy for a lot of MoP dailies. Feel free to ask if you have specific concerns. Hope to see you soon.

Hello,
I am Sommerwisp on WRA, I started a belf rogue over there since I play rogue as my main. I got a little side tracked when I saw some RP info about Belf paladins. I never found a guild to join, so I created my own guild called Serene for my husband and I to use. Well, mostly me since he does not play on the server. My rogue finally hit 10 and my paladin hit 24 (she is not part of the challenge). I was wondering about doing the light challenge and if that was something in the future or now?
Anyhow, she is alot of fun to play... I love rogue and have a few of them. Since I am not familiar with the challenge as well as others, I thought it would be a safe way to start.
Thanks for the fun.

Hello
This is going to be my second Ironmanpaff my first one is on Dalaran, Paff-dalaran is my main character, if i disappear for a little it is because i am earning my token. I also have a Paff on Deathwing as a PVP version. I thought it would be a good idea to create one on a server that has a guild for ironman , he is lvl 10 now and added to the boards here as well. I looked for the Guild banner in requests a invite thing and could not find it. Ill try again later and hope to find one of you online that can invite. If there are any rules for the guild that are in addition to what the challenge has please advise before i get to far and break one
