Hurray a new forum! So, this is a post that Ironpossible made with his tips for warriors. I'm reposting it here so that I'll actually be able to find it again.... lots of really great macros and suggestions.
Tips from Ironpossible/Possibleiron:
If you're reading this as a warrior it is 100% possible and I want you to hit 85. Couple tips for warriors upon reaching Stance Mastery at 58.
make a:
Charge Macro for charging and going into defensive for the stun as well as extra rage
#showtooltip Charge
/cast Charge
/cast Defensive Stance
Execute macro for when a mob gets low enough you can switch to combat and finish them
#showtooltip Execute
/cast Combat Stance
/cast Execute
Hamstring macro so that if a mob runs away in fear while in defensive you can hamstring them quickly
#showtooltip Hamstring
/cast Combat Stance
/cast Hamstring
This is Shout macro is for bandaging. Make sure your rend has wore off before using. This prevents you from auto attacking and breaking the fear, so that you can bandage
#showtooltip Intimidating Shout
/cast Intimidating Shout
/target yournamehere
This intercept macro can be used to finish fleeing mobs or interrupt a caster
#showtooltip Intercept
/cast Berserker Stance
/cast Intercept
And change up your rotation from being in Combat Stance to being in Defensive Stance for the majority of each fight. You want to rely on Revenge procs as your main source of DPS, so pop Shield Block all the time.
If you're a warrior and have hit level 44 make sure you're using Slam as your spam attack instead of Heroic Strike. You lose some white hits, but its damage is way better.
Pick Night Elf. Shadowmeld is awesome. You can use it to kill multi mob pulls, test aggros, test boss mobs. Use it a lot. Always make sure it's up before doing a boss mob.
Caster mobs are your friend. Seriously you have Pummel on a 10 second cooldown. Intimidating Shout if you NEED to interrupt something and Pummel is on cooldown. At 66 you get Spell Reflect. Caster mobs are awesome.
Disarm is you friend. When you get to Outlands it is more relevant. Use it on two handed mobs, mobs that enrage, use it on boss mobs, or if none of the above apply to the mobs you're fighting just use it on cooldown.
Wowhead.com is your friend. Use it for Boss mobs always. Use it for quests you're uncertain of. I also usually used it for any new caster mob, so I knew what to expect and what to use my interrupts for.
MILK the $hit out of Azeroth. You can get to level 62 1/2 easily from Azeroth quests. Milk them dry. When I got to 60 I bought the level 60 white weapons and used the two hander to clean up the rest of Azeroth before going to Outlands.
One last tip. You can't do everything as a Warrior. You have to realize your limitations. You won't be able to do certain quests in Outlands. At the top of my head when I first entered Hellfire Peninsula I skipped the following quests:
Overlord - Killing the Eredar boss mob
Colossal Menace - Killing the Colossi Mobs
Stonescythe Boss Mob Quest
The last Goblin quest to kill the boss in the mines near Horde town
The last mines quest near Honor Hold to kill the boss in the mines
I later went back at 68 and completed every single quest in Hellfire that I missed.
For Zangarmarsh I skipped:
The two Naga Leader Wanted quests
I later went back at 68 and completed both of those quests.
For Terokkar I skipped:
The Final Code - Kill a Blood Elf boss mob
The dragon boss mob quest
The bird boss mob quest
The quest to get the three items in the tomb
The parrot escort
The quest to kill 5 Draenei Spirits
I later went back at 68 and did all but the dragon boss quest, the parrot escort, and the Draenei spirits quests.
The quest to kill 5 Draenei Spirits is the quest that killed me. That tomb is nasty don't go in there.
