Alliance quest "They took our gnomes" in Ashenvale Should have read this comment in wowhead from hineloa
"Found it at 43.13 , 63.58. Easy fight.
Do not make the mistake I did to check the other wagon ( Krom'gar's wagon) at around 47,66.
While most guards (Silverwind Vanquisher) are lvl 30 with just 955 life there is at least one level ? with 114 K life !
It appeared out of nowhere when I was near Kromgar's wagon and sent me to the graveyard in one hit."
Got into combat and a few secs later a ?? level mob 1 shot me...

Bloodmyst Isle: "Searching for Galaen" - Attempting to pull one of the casters at the entrance to the Cryo-Core aggros a swarm of nasty casters from inside. Do not try to use the big opening. The back door is quite safe. I did it at lvl 17.

Silverpine Forest No Escape. The elite worgen at the top of the stairs in Fenris Keep is buggy. If you don't let him get the first hit in Agatha will take an extremely long time to grab his aggro, during which time he will probably rip you to bits.

The Hinterlands: Prime Slime. Requires you to kill an ooze (Direglob) that devours you and takes 5% of your health every second. If it weren't for Vanish, I'd be a dead rogue. Abandon it!

Swamp of Sorrows:
The quest for Crazy Larry - In with a Bang - you get shot out of a cannon onto a ship (you will get the [Going Down?] achievement if you have not already gotten it. The issue is not with the cannon but once you get on the ship.
The giblin's you have to fight on the ship are spread out pretty well but they respawn pretty quickly. Find your quest items - one is on the deck of the ship near the front; another in what is usually the captain's quarters and the last one is, of course, in the hold of the ship - unless you hearth out after getting the last item, you will have to fight your way back up to the top of the ship to use the cannon to shoot yourself back to shore.
The danger here is the respawn rate of the giblins. So just be careful!

On Coldarra in Borean Tundra, there are some elite dragons flying around. There's one on the east side that flies really low - so low that when it attacked and dismounted me, I didn't even take falling damage. I was really lucky to shadowmeld in time to save my life, and I've pretty much decided never to go back to Coldarra. Too risky with those things about.

Hellfire Peninsula: Fel Reavers - know their routes and if you're near a route, always keep checking behind you so you can get out of the way if needs be. Turn your view distance up as far as your pc can handle, at maximum you can see them half the zone away which is a massive help! Arazzius the Cruel - first, beware the six-armed female demons you have to clear to reach him; they each summon three imps, and it's pretty hard to pull one without the other aggroing. Two demons and six imps at once is not fun! Arazzius himself hits fairly hard and summons infernal adds, pretty tough at the intended lvl. Colossal Menace - the giants have around 11k health, and shardlings split off them twice during the fight. They also patrol widely and if you're not careful you can end up with two at once. They're killable with a pet, but tough, I'm not too sure non-pet classes would cope well, given they do hit pretty hard. Beware: the Fel Reaver paths through one side of the area! Natural Remedies - Goliathon doesn't seem to hit a lot harder than the regular giants, however he has a nasty knockback ability which hurts, and also makes him drop aggro if you're using a pet as tank. Zangarmarsh: Leader of the Bloodscale - nothing like as evil as it used to be but still kinda tough - don't stand in the freezing circle if she plants it on you, and the waterspouts knock you a fair way into the air so you will take falldmg. A tip - if Hellfire Peninsula is too stressful for you, Zangarmarsh is much the same difficulty lvl so swap zones and gain a lvl or two before going back; it helped me a lot to be able to switch zones, since I find HFP hard on even regular characters - too many patrols, too many densely packed wandering groups of mobs that are easy to aggro several at once, and fel reavers just to give you added heartattacks

I'll nominate the quest "Cleansing the Afflicted" in Darkshore... cause that's what got me. It basically involves an area full of wandering furbolg, and the item you use on them causes a second add to spawn from them. This means you have two mobs attacking you, even though you only need to kill the one, with a high chance of aggroing other mobs densely patrolling the area. Even as a hunter with shadowmeld I couldn't get safely away, the melee broke shadowmeld and every attempt to kite and run just pulled more. It was admittedly some bad luck, but honestly it seems too risky, even outleveling the quest (I was about 4 above). Next time I'm skipping once I hit that point and moving on.

Druid roots the furlbog, cleanses, and then kills the corruption. Of course some of the furlbogs have ranged attacks ... .

I've done Cleansing the Afflicted on several warriors and now on a priest. I don't believe I was ever higher than 20 while working on it. Lots of extremely careful pulls basically.
However, I did find out the hard way on my priest that the Furblob and the Ooze have to be at least somewhat close to each other when the ooze dies. I feared and they ran in separate directions. Killed the ooze and the Furblob was too far away and did not become friendly. Whoops!

the N STV quest that sens u into ZG as a baby raptor is safe; getting caught doesn't count as a death. the S STV quest that sends u into ZG, however, is not. the first part where ur killing jindo's corpse while zanzil is running around (may have the bosses confused here, it's something like that lol) and u have to stop him from healing the corpse, i wasted a bunch of mana up front like i usually do on a planned, tough fight. problem is, i didn't realize what i was supposed to do and by the time i realized it i was basically oom and my dps was barely able to make ground against the healing. after several minutes, though, another toon came along and we finished with no problem. i felt guilty about it, but what can you do? the second part is similar except a bunch of adds come and try to heal the corpse. i didn't realize there was another fight coming or i'd have logged, but of course i didn't and there was the mage again. it felt like we were barely able to 2-man it, though maybe i was just tired from basically having just done a raid boss lol. the point is, imo this is not soloable. after we finished, i had been fighting for probably 15+ minutes, and was chatting in vent and not paying attention. there's some RP where an airship or something comes along and u have to click it to hop on, avoiding some big explosion. i didn't notice, and got blown up. quite a shock, i must say, after having never been threatened in combat at all. zero lay on hands saves. also i had received literally no help of any kind, at all, thru 35 levels (no buffs to click off, no random helpful killing blows from a passer-by, nothing). the very first time i end up getting help, instant karma kills my ass. TLDR: don't do the ZG quest in S. STV

In Darkshore Quest: Threat from the Water (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=13522) you have to kill 8 Vile Sprays. Don't repeat my mistake to attack the lvl 15 elite Vile Terror as it emerges from the water. It hits hard! and the Sentinels are not that willing to take over aggro. There are lots of Vile Sprays further down the beach just running around. I was lvl 20 (Q is lvl 8+) and I almost died. Only reason I survived was two good pieces of advice. Don't panic! and don't turn your back! Also in Darkshore The Battle for Darkshore. You have to kill Avatar of Soggoth a lvl 20 elite. He almost killed me (lvl 26 draenei pally and Q is grey at 26!) leaving me with 42 out of 596 HP after using all I had. He has 3.800+ HP and is tough. If you have to, kill all ads and wait until you are more than ready. NOTE it seems this Q was bugged for me, I did not have the horn, and I tried clicking it.

Blade's Edge Mountains Quest: What Came First, the Drake or the Egg? - Arcane Blast damage from the phased drakes is brutal (2.5kish) and resist to frost is high. If you do this quest instead of avoiding it, take down the HP of the spawned whelp before you use the phase modulator on it.
