I don't blame you. I can't even stand the chat channel any more. I can't imagine how ridiculous a guild with 1,000 people in it has become.

Every single one of them is convinced that it's a competition, and the tracker is a leaderboard. There's no leadership, the GM has been inactive for weeks. I know we don't want to 'exclude the newcomers' but this is what happens when there is no established leader or group of leaders. The inability to kick people who really are a pain in the ass has come back to haunt us. I'm honestly done with that guild. I vote to reform a new one right now, <Ironman Veterans> (already have the charter) AND impose a level limit of at least 15 for new members. (People restarting after death is fine) Plus make sure there is a solid core of leadership and guidance for the group. Let the current one die.
Just a suggestion.
PS. I re-rolled on MG because they remember that this is all a personal challenge.

I'm online atm, about to go to bed, and it's 3:45 Am East coast. The guild is 17 people away from reach 1k members. I think 1k is the cap, not sure, but just giving a heads up that something might want to be done about a new guild tomorrow....or uh...later this morning =P.

Yeah I'm pretty much done with the WRA server, I really did like the server but there are just too many people running around trying to do the challenge and that guild is just out of control.
Altho I'm having alot of fun with my current toon, I might re-roll to Moonguard later today if it hasn't gotten as bad as WRA. If it has I'm going back to my home server lol.

Just a suggestion to help with the heavy flow of players. First of make 2 guilds both with lvl 1 toons that wont be used and remain lvl 1. Guild 1 is for everyone playing and participating in the challenge and guild 2 is like the guild you go to when you hit lvl 20
This would help seperate the player base a little bit and the lvl 20 guild is something to strive to get into as well which is always a good thing imo.
I'd love to help in anyway I can i plan to be resonable active in this challenge till d3 comes out anyways.

I was one of the players who started the Ironman Challenger guild on WRA. I left the guild yesterday when I saw there were 88 players online and the gchat was filling my window. Lots of snark and garbage between players-the overwhelming majority of whom were lower than level 10.
There are a lot of peeps giving out bad info on this challenge. Telling newbies that they can't have a mount and only white bags, dissing peeps who ask questions, etc... I will stay on this toon on WRA until/if she dies, then move over to another server. The challenge has gotten out of hand on WRA, and I honestly don't want any part of it (which is too bad as all my toons were already on WRA and the ironman is perfect for an RP server). I shut off the iron channel while questing and only turn it on when I go to a city for training or AH.

I will probably be joining you on Moonguard when/if my mage dies. It's really becoming unbearable. I didn't mind the constantly repeated questions when there was no set FAQ in place, but some of the things people ask are absolutely mind-boggling, and the answers some try to give are even more so. We truly live in the Age of Misinformation.

I'm sad to hear that the guild and chat on WRA has gone insane. It was fun before there were like a million people in it I don't have time to play to much during the week but I know this past weekend when I was on I ignored both chats since it was scrolling way to freaking fast anyways and I almost died a few times The only good thing is not being guild spammed all the time. Oh well once the guild dingsa lvl 2 I will just quit and block guild invites. Anyone else terrified of playing in case their character dies? lol

I really feel like the ppl that started this challenge shouldn't leave the server to me thats like letting the trolls bully you out of your rightful place. I'd like to see a guild with some structure to it tho. The mmo post of course has made it a bit of a zoo and the popularity i'm sure will die down a bit. I love the idea of expanding the player base of ppl that i enjoy playing the game with
