I will be honest... I don't see it on the site... it's possible this could be hidden in the API data but *not* shown on the website...

So... looking at the armory and the full API definitely does not contain the Wealth data that you can find under your character statistics in game.
I have a feeling this is done on purpose to hide gold data so folks don't get harassed to send gold.
I've posted a message on the developer forums, so we'll see what folks there have to say.

I could see them earlier, no probs, but now I can only see them in-game.
Oops. My slow connexion only showed your previous post as I posted this.
And if it's all a honour thing, does anybody mind my having a AH character for the sole purpose of saving time? I don't see a problem there. I mail him the goods, he sells, and send back money minus 30 Cps for the letter, I save a lot of time and miss 30 Cps per transaction. Time is my limiting factor for play, as I'm a mom of many and have to work.

I'm indifferent to having an AH mule for irons, with the clear conditions you've placed with it: send, sell, transfer minus costs. I think this is why we accept variances in gold stats, even when it was visible, and expect honor to rule.
This leads me to an AH tip you may benefit from, Dranina, which can eliminate the AH mule character entirely. Your iron doesn't have to return to a city (to find an auctioneer) to auction your items yourself. Logging into Battle.net allows you to auction items owned by any character, regardless of where both the items and character are. It has more advanced search filters than the in-game interface, making it useful for buying as well, even if the character buying it is far afield from a city. It can sell the items from both your inventory or your bank, even negating any need to return to a bank to take things out for selling. When auctions succeed or end, items appear normally in your character's mailbox. If you camped at an inn, chances are that you can pick up the items conveniently.
You don't have to be logged into the game to transact through B.net. I found this while web surfing at work (where naturally there's no client installed there). Lately I've taken to occasionally managing AH listings during my lunch break, from a tablet or PC browser interface.
There is one statistical anomaly inherent in using Battle.net to sell items that you should be aware of, even though the gold stats are not public. Any gold collected by the character through the Battle.net interface from sale of items does not log into the characters' stats as they would when you pick up the gold from a mailbox instead. One of my characters found this out when selling one high value battle pet which I had farmed to sell. Although I collected the 7k G through B.net, his highest auction sold statistic still had displayed something around 100 G from selling a lesser item earlier. So, this can produce irregularities to the statistics, but these statistics are currently neither checked by algorithm on site nor available for scrutiny by others. You do not have to collect gold through B.net for items listed there, as it otherwise still appears in your mailbox in-game.

Thanks a lot, this is even better, as it is hubby's working PC that's our gaming one as well. Now I can AH things when he's working - sawing his AND my time. Much appreciated.

I thought some more on this B.net auctioning. You can remotely "withdraw" items from bank without returning to a city. Use B.Net to list the item in bank on the AH at an outrageous price (paying listing fee, short duration). Wait 12 hours. It'll appear in mailbox when it fails to sell. I don't know if a 12-hour delay is worth avoiding a trip to the city, but it's possible.
I'm so glad this works well for you! It's great to make the most of your available time when sharing resources.
