For anyone questing in Loch Modan, be extra careful. I and a few others have died today there.
For particular quests / areas, be VERY careful by the trogg mines, and be the most careful you can by the night elf place with all the lynxes and birds.
Also, for the one you have to protect the dwarf from the iron (seems fitting?) dwarves and the one renegade, that's a toughie. I'd reccommend getting out of aggro and cc'ing (if you can) and then attacking one by one.
Cheers!

The Wetlands should be a relaxing (at least I thought it was) run after Loch Modan.

I think Loch Modan is a great place to lvl from around 12 to 20-21. Imo, easier than Redridge, Darkshore and Bloodmyst isle...
Even if leveling as iron is never easy

I've found Loch Modan to be the best zone for levelling; lots of rares for good exp, most quests are relatively safe, and the whole place is pretty smooth for ironman compared with many others. Although I normally run it parallel to Westfall, for extra exp - a couple lvls advantage over the mobs helps a lot

Loch Modan, as well as Bloodmyst Isle, have lots of noncombat quests for some easy experience, although I would steer clear of the Trogg dig site until a higher level.

I agree that it's easy, as my ignorance befell me, for the most part.
And RIP your bloodthirsty hunter, Xaya! I saw her/him yesterday in roster at 14.

I don't mind it. My general strategy is to do all quests apart from Sooty and the Ogre boss, then head off and do all of Lakeshire , then come back and do those last 2 mobs.
