Outland is the toughest part (most will agree), so you did really well to reach 70! and to lose out through no fault of your own is rough. Good luck to Eightfrog and Sparkles! Happy New Year

Happy New Year I was so nervous when I first got to Outland, my previous highest died there at 62 so to get through it and reach 70 was such a boost to confidence and I was also really enjoying the isle of Quel Danas. It's lovely when you surpass your own previous achievements and I'm very excited to get back up there again and go further. Having so much fun with the challenge:) Have a wonderful day x

Eightfrog and Sparkles, a travel scrapbook
I’d decided to take a little break from things so Sparkles and I decided to go and visit the Darkmoon Faire. I do love a good faire.
I’d never visited Darkmoon Island before but had heard many stories so was very excited to experience it for myself. It was surprising gloomy on the island which I wasn’t expecting but as I rode down the mountain toward the faire itself things soon brightened up with lights shining and music playing. There were colourful tents and laughing people everywhere with a great sense of fun and happiness everywhere I looked and definite fondness for purple.
I soon began exploring all the tents and enjoyed many of the games to be found. I particularly enjoyed ‘whack a gnoll’ which entailed running around with a very large hammer hitting puppet gnolls on the head as they popped up from boxes. Unfortunately I did accidentally hit a dwarf who got in my way but thankfully he didn’t appear to be feeling very much and simply laughed, downed another pint and continued on with his own gnoll battering. Thank heavens for tough skulls and alcohol!
I decided to give the humanoid cannonball game a miss. Despite my faith is Gnomish engineering, this particular cannon didn’t look to be the best example of workmanship I’ve ever seen despite Miss Blastenheimer’s reassurances to the contrary.
Sparkle’s and I spent most of the day here looking at the exotic animals and eating our way from tent to tent. They do particularly tasty Darkmoon donuts so I bought some extra to save for later.
The only thing I didn’t like about the faire was the Tauren cook named Stamp Thunderhorn. Whilst he was an amiable enough fellow his cooking specialty appeared to be battered, deep fried crunchy frog! For some reason he didn’t understand my absolute horror when he suggested I try one so I simply made my excuses and left him and his bubbling cauldron to their own murderous devices. /shiver
Sparkles and I then moved onto a tour around all the exotic animals penned at the far end of the island, joining a group of beings who are apparently called ‘Oracles’. They were extremely friendly and very chatty. Unfortunately I couldn’t understand a word they said but they didn’t appear to mind and chatted on with me regardless so I just smiled and nodded a lot.
The tour was quite astounding. Animals I never knew existed were everywhere. There was also quite a lot of exotic animal poop to navigate past as well. I didn’t always manage that particular task very successfully much to the amusement of my tour companions, in fact they seemed to find it down right hilarious but I soldiered on regardless trying to ignore the unpleasant aroma. I think I may need new socks after this!
Sparkles took a particular fancy to a baby mammoth called Jumbina and spent some time chittering away at her before following me on the rest of the tour. I took a picture of them both for Sparkles to keep in her scrapbook.
All too soon our time at the Faire came to an end so we finished off the evening with a rock concert and some deep fried candybars, before heading back to Elwynn Forest for the night. I’ve also purchased a nice new storage box to carry my donuts and Sparkles scrapbook in. No doubt I’ll soon collect more oddments to add to the collection.Tomorrow we depart Elwynn Forest in search of further adventures to add to our scrapbook of memories.(Summary: After Fivefrogs sad demise Eightfrog has taken up the mantle and is now lvl 35. Hinterlands complete we are ready to move onto WPL.)

The happy wanderings of Eightfrog and Sparkles
After spending time among the Dwarves of Aerie Peak, Sparkles and I have moved on to the Western Plaguelands. We’ve made a temporary home at the Mender’s Stead. A very pleasant farm some way beyond Andorhal.
There is a contingent of the Cenarion Circle druids here who have been extremely hospitable. I’ve actually been asked by the one of the elder druids, Adrine Towhide if I’d be willing to have one of the younger druids accompany me on my travels for a while. It seems the young druid, a troll by the name of Zen’Kiki is lacking somewhat in combat experience and is struggling in his studies.
I’ve agreed, Zen seems to be a very friendly young troll and a considerably more chatty than Sparkles!
It soon became apparent that Zen’Kiki seems to have some difficulty controlling his shape changing abilities. I could quickly see why this young troll needed some extra practice and help. I must say I couldn’t fault his enthusiasm for trying! His ability with Moonkin form was the most problematic causing us both some burns due to his errant moonfire’s. I’m glad to say however his healing abilities were a little more effective!
Even after some considerable combat practice Zen’Kiki is defiantly lacking in his spell control. I felt quite sorry for him as he really does put his all into everything. After chatting with Miss Towhide she decided Zen might be better suited to the healing arts.It seems healing spells don’t require accuracy! I took Zen’Kiki off to go and practice on some plagued bears and I must say he just might have found his druidic calling. I’m so pleased for him I think he would have been truly devastated to have to leave the order.
After further practice and a rather teary farewell Zen’Kiki and I have parted ways and I leave him in Miss Towhide’s capable hooves. I do hope one day I’ll meet him again to see how he’s doing.
Sparkle’s and I continued our exploration of the plaguelands alone. During our wanderings around we happened to take an overnight stay at the Argent Crusade fort of Hearthglen. I was extremely honoured to make the acquaintance of Highlord Tirion Fordring. He was extremely gracious and even allowed Sparkles and I to have a picture taken with him for our scrapbook. A memory to treasure.
We didn’t stay long however and soon our road took us further north into the eastern part of the plaguelands and a much less cheerful environment. We have temporarily joined up with a traders caravan just over the border headed by a very lovely worgen lady by the name of Fiona.
(Summary: Eightfrog is now lvl 41 and about to experience the joys of EPL. There may not be much lvling for couple of weeks as I intend to join in the next lvling competition)

Eightfrog & Sparkles reached the end of their journey at lvl 53 and hand the mantle to Ninefrog.
Going afk on a road not far from Everlook to answer the door and got nibbled to death by a wandering rare spawn. Such are the hazards of froglife!
Also my third contest mage, Frostyfrog is lvl 14 but I think I'm pretty much done on mages for now and just want to get back to my beloved hunters! Until the next contest that is!
Farewell Eightfrog

Haven't been adventure blogging lately mostly because I seem to be on a roll for killing off my frogs so I'll go with little updates for now!
Tenfrog sadly passed this morning. I've been trying out some different zones than I normally do to find my happiest route. I did Darkshore purely for loremaster as I know the zone well and find it way to long winded for my taste. I went straight to Stonetalon from there as I hadn't started Darkshore until 15 so was very overleveled.
As a hunter Stonetalon was a breeze and I enjoyed it. Southern Barrens was fine, again no problems but I do find the zone a bit dull to play through.
Did a few quests in Feralas to get me to 40 and then went to 1000 needles. First half of the zone was no problem. I knew the grim totem quests were nasty, did them anyway. Ok as hunter but def wouldn't do them on a melee and could see how nasty the damage was.
It was the twilight trappers that got me in the end. The quest where you rescue baby windriders and kill the trappers. They had a nasty chimera shot and seemed to ignore my pets growl. I was picking them off one at a time when one came up behind me. Managed to feign death in time but he must have done an aoe that finally nibbled the last of my health and so it was adios Tenfrog and Danvers!
Finished the zone for the achievement and then it's hello Elevenfrog! Needless to say 1000 needles won't be on my list of favourite zones despite the awesome river boat!
I'm thinking my original and predominantly Eastern Kingdoms route is one I'll continue with. Only thing I can't quite decide on is Arathi/Hinterlands or STV. I do have this habit of dying in STV but also Jinthalor in Hinterlands drives me slightly bananas...decisions decisions!!

I've been enjoying that blog of yours and your frogs' voices. It makes me sad they're dying off Good luck to Elevenfrog!

I think "Seventeenfrog" could be too long of a name, so you gotta make it to 110 before that!

Thank you all, I've no doubt there will be plenty more frogs to keep me going!
Crystal, I think I may have to get a bit creative with some spellings but I'm sure I'll figure it out!!
Eleven is 29 now so getting back up there slowly!

A little update as i forgot the other day. Elevenfrog has gone the way of her little dead froggy siblings at lvl 39!
I was happily killing the war captains in Andorhal when I got a little cozy with the horde base. I wasn't even really aware it was there. I knew there was one somewhere but hadn't really come across it before so after a very quick one shot Twelvefrog & Sushi have begun their adventures!
They are currently lvl 26 and about to start Northern STV. Lets see if I can get past those 40's which seem to be a bit of a sticking point atm! I've also made 3 more backup frogs as I do seem to get on better when I bounce around characters a bit!

Twelvefrog and Sushi has reached lvl 50 and are about to move onto Winterspring. I've been playing several hunters so lvling has been a bit slower of late.
