Hey all, I dont even have the legion xpac yet, so zero experience on the 100-110 journey. My question to those of you who have been there (either iron or mains), which classes are viable for killing mobs there? I'm considering starting a side bloodthirsty toon, but it'd be dumb to make one that can't complete the journey (assuming I dont screw up, but that's on me, not the class). I know that jumping xpacs now makes the previous xpac's mobs give little to no experience, does that hold true for the WOD- legion jump as well? I ask because my understanding is many of the 110's got to max mainly via dailies?
Thanks for the ideas! ~Klue

If you want to try and kill stuff in Legion, hunter is by far the best bet. I was able to kill quite a few things in Legion on my 110 iron hunter. It still is very dangerous over there even for a hunter, but they can at least kill some of the stuff. The priest can kill some too, but as of now those are the only two classes that can kill in Legion. But of the two, hunter is better.
There is discussion of allowing talents for Bloodthirsty toons, because as of now Legion is just too hard for the other classes. However, even if talents are allowed, I'm not sure other classes will be able to kill stuff in Legion.
Hope that helps, and best of luck!!

All classes can kill things in legion, mobs can be tagged by up to 5 players, how else would you see two Monks and two Rogues at the top, there are no dailys in Legion, Good luck! Just keep within the % of killing blows and you will be fine.
In before, "But Marg thats sounds like cheating and not within the rules at all, i mean spirit of the challenge".
Im not saying this is what you need to do, or should do. Its just an option out there. Its not an exploit, its part of Legion as an expansion, take advantage of it, if you so wish, just as we can take advantage of numerous treasures in WoD, the 50+Dailys in Mists, Outleveling Cata, completely negating it. It was part of the expansion, and is part of the Ironman experience for some, not all.

Just for the record, my 2 rogues didn't get there by tagging mobs in Legion...

the spirit at the start was to get to max lvl alone, without any help from other players. It is not stated as such in the rules on the website (except the no group rule). Now groups are not needed to get credit and xp from kills...
But of course the spirit is irrelevant, only the letter of the rule is
Xayatherogue lvl 88 night elf rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayapaci lvl 35 pacifist gnome rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayahorde lvl 15 bloodelf rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord

Yeah, I'm hoping to be able to do it legitimately (in my mind) of solo killing things, rather than lurking about and leeching off other people's kills. No idea how possible this is, as the mobs scale with your level in legion. Though as I mentioned before, I've yet to run any toon through it at all, so maybe it's more doable than I'm afraid of.
ps, I saw that it's being discussed to allow talents to the bloodthirsty challenge. Not sure how I feel about that really, but it'd definitely make it faster/easier
