Since 8.0 went online, Blizz did a 'stat squish' and things have gotten even more hard. So I created a new thread for the expansion
Xayagreen lvl 62 greenman draenai hunter (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayabow lvl 93 tinman nightelf hunter Wyrmrest Accord Xayablood lvl 16 bloodthirsty nightelf druid (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayamonk lvl 110 tinman draenai monk Wyrmrest Accord Xayapaci lvl 36 pacifist gnome rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord

Opening the mine in the WoD garrison is almost impossible. There are many groups of mobs, 1 with 2-3 smaller ones, so you can easily have 2-3 mobs on you depending on your CC. My tinman was killed the first time I tried (haven't tried a second time yet, will update later)

One word. Direglob.
Don't even breathe in that slime's direction if you aren't a hunter or warlock with a pet. It had a shit ton of health before 8.0, I can only imagine how nightmaring it must be after. I skipped right past it on my toons that passed it in 8.0
Additionally, the horde starting area in Borean Tundra is very dangerous. The bugs spawn like mad, and they're super close packed. The area nearby with the undead boars spawns an elite, which spawned right on top of my 60 and knocked her dead. Don't risk it over there.
Stranglethorn still kicks ass. Be super careful around clumps, especially humans in the vale. They hit really hard for some reason.

Sister Riven in Stonetalon Mountains hits you for WAY past your health. Luckilly, I was on a normal alt, making my way down to Desolace, and I threw a punch at her only to get one shot. I was wearing full heirlooms, and don't think any gear would help this, unless you are a Paladin and can burst her down before she casts this twice. She's near the south side on the road to Desolace.

Along the road from Hinterlands to Andorhal, in Western Plaguelands, is a timberling rare named "The Husk". He hits REALLY damn hard, disproportionately so for the rest of the rares I've encountered earlier. Most would bring me to, say, 75% with healing, and he brought me down to 30-40%. If you're not careful he could wipe you out, so just pay attention while fighting him.

I was killed by mobs in Northern Stranglethorn and found out from a friend that those mobs, along with the mobs in several other areas are OP after the squish. Apparently, there are several zones where the balance is off after the patch.
He also told me a 70 worldwind killed his 110 DH(non-ironman).

The rare wolf just at the base of Aerie Peak in Hinterlands... His regular hits are normal, but then he has a secondary hit that smacks you with 3x your health. You will die.

I killed him successfully on my monk twice while running through Hinterlands. It seems that this secondary hit comes very late in his rotation, but I wouldn't chance it. It seems like a lot of rares have really unbalanced abilites lately.

8.0 seems pretty absurd, stay well away from the minefield in Azshara, one shots level 20-30s easily. At the start of Stonetalon for Horde there are stealthed mobs that Ambush you for half your HP, it doesn't require stealth either. Have a pet / kiting method or pick another zone.

The guy in the tree on the final quest to get your garrison is ridiculous. Has 5x your hp and hits like a truck. It also resets if you move very far from it at all. There are several new entry's on wowhead about how tough it is since the 7.3.5 patch, even regular players are having problems with it.
I tried 6 times on a 91 prot pally scout, had it reset 5 times and kill me once. Will be trying it more today to see if there is any way possible for an iron to complete the quest.
It may be a big block for irons getting to 100 and legion content since you can't build your garrison.. Only other option would be to hang around until some other alli player tags it doing that quest chain.

Thistle fur mobs in Ashenvale are best avoided by any melee class or pet class for that matter.
The Coat of Thistlefur damage shield they have is not scaling properly and does massive damage. Basically does 40% of my pets life in one hit at lvl 56 resulting in a nearly dead pet after 2 attacks.... this might just instant kill some fast attack melee Irons like rogue before they even realized the damage they were taking.
This shield did more damage to my pet than the mob melee and special attacks combined.
I entered a bug report but I wouldn't count on it being fixed any time soon.

Beware when creating Worgen.
However, then comes the next horse based quest www.wowhead.com/quest=14212/sacrifices. While the horse is sturdier this time around it'll be easier to wait for another player to go first, or don't burn any more Worgen than needed. Of five tries I died two times and won three, my horse had 6hp on the final win.
I know Worgen is not a popular challenge race but I'd personally avoid making one for the time being.

Good question. For a warrior, eh? This is the kind of thing to scout if you have one, or hang around and see how others handle. Crowd Control really helps for the spawns, but if warrior, hmmmmm.
