Ok, my first living iron challenger death in Shadowlands at level 53. Was in Bastion, doing "Assessing Your Spirit". I scouted and watched other players. It's like a duel, you hit him, he smacks you down to 1 HP. Um, not this time, 2 shot me dead. Damn. Since I was dead anyways, tried again. Worked fine. Dropped quest, did it again. 1 out 4 times you really die, which is another way to end the duel I guess. That's not good, random is a sucky way to discover quests to avoid.

"The First Cleansing" - Bastion - this quest is very dangerous. You go into a cave, and must fight 3 sets of mobs. First set is a single NPC. My rogue took it out, no issue, should be okay for most capable of a fight. Second set is 2 NPCs. I blinded one, fought the other. Again, can your toon take on 2 NPCs at once? Note: if you SM, Vanish, or FD it will abort the fight but you get credit for it. But, the 3rd set is against a single named boss, who has 18k of health to my 4k. No way melee rogue can take it out. Maybe a hunter?

Maldraxxus
world quest - www.wowhead.com/quest=61060/spore-losers This quest called Spore Losers is a vehicle quest. Bad news, you take damage, not the mushroom mount. Your health can go to zero (dead) and you not realize it until it is too late. (Just like Kaw the Mammoth Destroyer quest in Boring Tundra)
world quest Drawing out the poison. Hard hitting mobs till you can pick up an item, with which you have to summon and kill a boss

Bastion
- Forsworn Researcher - has a DoT or channeled damage called steal memories. You likely won't live thru it.
- the last mob for Vesiphone's vicious vesper has a very large AoE that does A LOT of damage (3k at lvl 53)

Ardenweald
- Outplayed very heavy channelling damage
- world quest Pupa trooper flying mobs have a very nasty DoT, they fly in packs and each of them can give one to you

Can't stress enough to scout Shadowland quests, mobs, and areas. And with a comparable toon like your living toon. Entering Shadowlands and getting thru the Maw is doable, a rogue and a hunter iron has done it, but you need to understand the quest chain, obstacles, and mechanics. When you enter an area where quests are taking place, look around. If you see dead players or the skeletons, that's your first clue the quest has perils.
Please post any deaths, dangers, or really close encounters you've run into here. Good luck challengers.
