Maybe they will add it in future, surely would be good to know if they planning to do it or not.

Honestly, I hope that they won't make it an achievement or a FoS. Because otherwise that would make this entire thing just one long grind, and making anything into a grind just takes the fun away from it.

And as soon as its made into an achievement or FoS, Even more people will make it a competition, and that leads to more cheating, and bigger, more obnoxious community. So i could care less if they make it a Chieve or FoS

We don't even know what sort of logs Blizzard keeps. I assume they don't track when every item is equipped or unequipped, or buffs gained/lost... they probably track groups, dungeons, etc. Consumables they track, but already get them wrong. Adding a "Level from 1-85 without dying" feat of strength would probably be more reasonable, and also is less arbitrary. I think it's the only rule which has never been argued about.

Honestly, I would get so annoyed if Blizzard made an actual achievement out of this. Sure, it would be cool, I guess... but really, what do you get? Another title? Another tabard? Most likely it'll just become something that some obnoxious prat can spam-link in Trade to prove how "leet" he is, and make everyone else who got it embarrassed to be part of the same group. Not to mention, I think it would really take away from the sense of community it generated. The people who are here are here because they want a challenge - something that has either brought their interest back to the game, or given them something new and cool to do, where they can meet a lot of people along the way. And the trolls, oh god the trolls that would spring up should you actually get shiny achievement points for this... *laughs* I think Blizzard plugged this because they appreciate the things this will do / has done for the community. Not everything has to give a big prize at the finish.

I agree that it should be considered a Feat of Strength, rather than an Achievement. It's possible to get to 85 without dying and not be participating in the Ironman Challenge, so it's something that any player could achieve. Many have, in fact. And let's face it - you can get an Achievement for falling off a cliff and surviving. This is a little more... difficult. ;D

Blizz could never make this an Achievement or FoS as it stands because of the class imbalance. Compare Hunters to Mages or Shamans. Would require a lot of work to make it 'fair' and incorporate it into normal game play rather than have people create a toon especially for it.
That said a simple recognition for reaching 85 with 'no deaths' would be possible as an FoS or even an Achievement Title..(Invulnerable perhaps..<grins>)

at least a 1-85, without dying achievement.. Deaths are tracked in your stats, and people can see that in armory but you can't link it in game sadly.
