When you hit about level 32-33 (for me The Hinterlands) take care! It's here enemies will not just run away and return, but run to get help when they are at low HP. This was one of the things (recklessness and panic being the other two) which made Ironpally die al lvl 32.

Bloodmyst Isle: "Searching for Galaen" - Attempting to pull one of the casters at the entrance to the Cryo-Core aggros a swarm of nasty casters from inside. Do not try to use the big opening. The back door is quite safe. I did it at lvl 17. When doing this Q and using the back door: Beware of Fenissa the Assassin level 18 rare elite. She stealthes round the Cryo-core. You can hear her stealth-sound if she is near by. It is not impossible to kill her. I met her today on my (newest) lvl 17 Draenei pally, doing Galaen-quest -- ran away from her, home to Blood Watch where I handed in enough Q to level to 18. Then I returned, cleared the area at the back door and killed her. The dangerous thing is: She is in stealth so you won't see her (but hear), she will then attack you as you're busy fighting one, or worse, two Sunhawk Reclaimers. Her aggro range is huge, and I ran halfway to Blood Watch before she let go. I felt like a coward, but I rather want to be a living coward. My son's teasing comments made me go back and attack her. I'm still "human" after all.

My son **who doesn't have the patience for this challenge** will walk by where I'm sitting with the laptop, peek, and see my character (talking to Liam in Gilneas, zooming about in the hotrod, killing piggies in mulgore, or being raised from the dead in Tirisfal) still in a starting area, and snicker..most of my deaths are kinda dumb ones, so he will remind "LOG OUT"...

For the horde: Some of this has been sort of mentioned already but I wanted to provide some more detail. Towards the end of Silverpine Forest questing, things start to get pretty hairy. After you finish in Ambermill, Sylvy will send you to Pyrewood Village for 3 more quests. Now I did these at 22 and I'm still not sure why I was getting snuck up on by level 17 & 18 mobs, but they appear out of nowhere at times and do rogueish things to your backside. Where it gets really scary though is after that, at the Greymane Wall. Sowing Discord & 7th Legion Battle Plans involve pairs of elites & long pats of single elites. The follow up, On Her Majesty's Secret Service isn't quite as bad but still requires caution. I can't advise on Cities in Dust - it was late, I was scared, I had the achievement & had just hit revered so I went & got my bag and called it a night.

Something I've found, both on the one Iron who attempted it, and since on regular characters, is that it's very difficult to avoid getting aggro from General Marstone, particularly since he has adds who will occupy the attention of the SFK bosses. At that point your life is in their hands - if the healing doesn't keep up you're in trouble. Not advised, unless you have your own heals, and even then I'm not sure I'd risk it. Edit: Marstone also has a very fast respawn timer. Best idea is to pull him away from his patrol route, and if you do kill him get out of the area fast or he'll be on top of you again. Cities in Dust feels pretty safe. You're hugely buffed and Godfrey and pals don't seem to pay much attention to you. However I would say that the complexity of the event itself has crashed my game, twice, so again it's not one I'd risk.

This time near Vector Coil.

ok died of a wierd one last night...at the top of the Dead Scar, by Silvermoon is a ranger and her troops that you help out by going off to kill pillagers...there is a mob of ghouls that spawns and attacks the group every few minutes...well, don't get near this group of ghouls, there are like 5 or 6, alone, because they gangrape you and leave your bones for the Dead Scar..I was level 9 and they are like a mere 5 or 6, BUT they are relentless and in the few seconds it took to refresh PW:S I was dead (they had spawned on top of me, massacred this poor priest, then took off for the group at the head of the Scar...) Just a heads up, first time in many a year this has happened to me...

i know EPL is flagged as a zone, thought i'd elaborate a little bit at least.
i had no real problems through 50% of the zone or more. i did skip the battle at darrowshire, and i recommend everyone to skip quests that rely on an NPC tank. skipping this quest stops the caravan (unless i missed something else), but that's ok.
where i almost died is in light's hope chapel area. u do a few quests there, then it unlocks a questgiver with 3-4 quests inside the building he's standing near, and another questgiver with 2-3 inside the building he's next to. after you do these and you talk to a 3rd questgiver in the middle of the area, who sends you to kill the named mob in the easternmost area of LHC. don't do this quest, as the mobs in the area hit incredibly hard.
sorry idr the name of the quest, but LHC in EPL is safe up to the end quest, which should be avoided.

Actually, skipping the Darrowshire battle does not stop the caravan. Don't know what you did but on my last pally I skipped the battle and had no problem with the caravan. I did manage to get it done on Kahdraa simply because as I was returning to do the Lone Hunter quest, someone had just finished it and Joseph was there for me to talk to.
As for the Crusader Lord Valdemar in the Cathedral, she wasn't much of a problem for a pally. Granted all these quests were green to me and I was probably around level 49 when I did it. Just clear the room first or at least one side - I clear the entire room just in case - and then pull her. I didn't even have to heal during that fight. Other classes may have some trouble with her but go cautiously and make sure your escape route is clear if needed.
I would suggest doing EPL when the zone is green to you and you will find it to be a little easier. I would skip the Darrowshire battle quest unless someone had just finished it up and Joseph was already standing there, then by all means talk to the man and get that quest completed!

Dragonblight - Secrets of the Scourge (A)
I strongly recommend hearthstoning out after you loot the book, since low-health ghouls will keep on spawning and attacking you until you get out of the crypt, and while they are low health, they do hit pretty hard. When I was there just now, all the mobs behind me had respawned (and I didn't enter that slowly), and mobs+extra ghouls was pretty tough, thankfully hearthing got me out of there alive.

Alliance Westfall: The Inn in Sentinel Hill, don't exit via the back door. You'll be surrounded by gnolls and the guards there are not very helpful to say the least.
Also on the beach are many murlocs. Watch out for Slark lvl 10 elite - he runs fast and is upon you when you least expect him.

Sholazar Basin - Post-partum Aggression
Unless you're a lot better with vehicles than me, avoid. I always have trouble with this one on regular characters, every time my mammoth dies and I have to finish it on my own, and really, I should've known better than to try it this time. Mammoth died, and I lost 2/3 of my health before my voidwalker took aggro, argh. I survived but that was a very scary moment, pure stupidity of me to try that quest!

I didn't have too much trouble with that one this time, though admittedly, I just ran screaming in circles around the tree that's by the roost and let Nessingwary do most of the work (thanks to a suggestion I saw on wowhead). Took a bit but the mammoth and I took little damage, In fairness, for previous char's I have had the same issues you did where I did end up finishing the dragon on the ground after the mammoth died. If I may, how did the Return Sevenfold quest for the Avatar of Freya go. I've been afraid to try it because I've had issues with it in the past but I really want to do those follow up quests.

Return Sevenfold was a bit of a headache since obviously I couldn't use my pet to tank, and he melee hits for about 1k. In the end I went with using my sacrifice shield to reduce incoming damage and spamming drain life, while waiting for him to cast the thing for me to reflect it, thankfully he didn't melee me too much in the meantime and his rain of fire wasn't that painful. Manageable enough but annoying! Oh and I skipped the final quest in that chain involving riding the giant guy to kill the undead; given my problems with riding a mammoth, no way I was risking a vehicle quest where you get totally swamped by mobs if you fail

Thanks, yeah I figured that would be the way I'd do it if I get "brave" enough it just makes me nervous waiting to reflect those deathbolts.
I definitely agree though, there's no way in hell I'm touching that final quest.
