I'd really like to stop doing this, but my rogue looks lonely. This is not a healthy obsession. Better than tobacco..it usually is only unhealthy to the poor dead ironmen and iron women...leaves a bunch of iron children parentless...

Well, got smashed by some really purple Proto Nether Drakes tonight in Blade's Edge. Didn't exactly expect them to shoot arcane bolts for 3K a hit every 10 seconds or less.
Not trying to rage. Just bummed but I've already gone at it again so good luck to all!

Got caught with a game/phasing glitch (I think) this morning and died. I was doing Mending Fences www.wowhead.com/quest=12915 the quest after The Draksynnard (which frankly was the one I was really worried about). This should be a fairly easy and safe quest actually, for all that your fighting elites, because you throw a boulder that summons a group of earthen to help you fight. Normally you can all but sit back and watch the earthen kill them. Well I threw the boulder, the earthen popped up and then at some point early in the fight they disappeared (or I only got one of them instead of the normal 4-5) and the giant stomped my VW and then me. Noo, that sucks, can't believe you lost two in the 80s My last few levels I was terrified of something similar happening to me, pure luck if it does or doesn't a guess but that really sucks. Hope you do come back after a break, if anyone deserves to finally make it to 85, it's you after this luck!

Ok I'm BACK. I couldn't stay away. After dying some 25 times between levels 3 & 41, I quit. But now I've got a 35 mage and I'm doing well.

Awww! R.I.P. I'm sorry to hear this. It's always a terrible feeling when you feel like you have jinxed yourself in some way by saying something.

I'm not nearly that brave. I entered Tanaris at 51. I have also entered Tanaris at low level (42 actually). I was tired of doing deep green Quests in Dustwallow March, in short, tired of being a sissy. I went to Thousand Needles, which was more level-appropriate, and found only one Q "Tanaris is Calling", which suted me just fine, as that gnomish contraption was too oily, greasy, and noisy for me. ETA: The Striders and beasts are manageable even as lvl 43-44, as they stay away from each other, but I'm afraid of the Humanoids (Waste Wanderes, Sandfury Trolls etc.) in Tanaris, and will stay clear of those, until I have some more levels. I have done the Butcherbot-chain as far as available for a lvl 43, and Strider-killing and Seaside Salvage, but I did not do Rocket Rescue (Vehicle Q) and Blood to Thrive (which includes Humanoids - Sandfury Trolls). I went to SW upon reaching lvl 44, but I hope there will be more Quests for me when I return.

I believe rocket-rescue is a can't fail quest. At least my balloon never got attacked.
For beast quests in Tanaris, there are some stealth scorpions that hit fairly hard, but if you fight other beasts only at melee range, I'm not sure you'll ever get a stealth and a non-stealth at the same time.
