I teleported my lvl 85 Aelfer to Moonglade, the second druid to make it to 85 (I believe) and took up the quest for the Blessings of Elune and fly to the lake within sight of the battle to kill the demon. Of course I don't actually come anywhere near the demons AOE. Ironman toons don't go near crazy AOE battles, they stay at a safe distance because anyone....

Disconnected
Thirty seconds later after I have signed back in, Aelfer is dead. Blizz murdered me. I'm to heart broken to ever try this again. I don't have the time or patience.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that! I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. RIP Aelfer. You and the other early 85 druids were such an inspiration to me. |

Literally was about to post that same type of message over in the dangers thread... The WHOLE of eastern Moonglade is off-limits for us Irons.
Man so so sorry Aelfer. I've been heartbroken enough losing toons in the 50s-60s but to get that far then be *censord censored*... ahem, screwed by your connection is just a horrible way to go.
For what it's worth, I just rendered out an armor comparison early this morning between my Iron and my regular main to show just how nasty it is over in Moonglade. That is, after I picked the heart out of my throat.
Warmest condolences and I do hope you find the challenge in yourself again someday. But yeah, do take a break - it helps.

Edit. Were you flying right over Wintergrasp or just hit the edges? Last time I think I've ever had this happen (maybe once or so on my main), I had to get pretty far into the zone and then a warning appeared saying I should turn back or be dismounted (I think during a battle). It was either that or I just was flying then, bam, dismounted and fell. Been awhile....
Anyway just asking so that while that indeed sucks, hopefully we can escape that same fate. Guess I'm taking the long way around then or crossing WG at low altitudes.

Advice : take the fp from Dal to Scholazar...
