Argh! Died 2X in Cryo Core one at 15 one at 16, and 2X to stupid, annoying far beyond the realm of reason PATTing Horde Guards, one at 32, the most recent at 34. ARGH!!!!!!  Doing better each time, but the long long long slow slow slow lvling period after each failed attempt is just too much to bear. How many times can a person be expected to do the starter areas?!??!?!?!  I am so sick of these stupid deaths, the guards are just really BS. Their aggro range is too extreme. I hate the with all my heart. I think I will try once more and then after 5 attempts, call it a day. Don't really want to play my other, real, geared toons as they bore me, don't want buy and play MoP, so it's this or nothing I guess...and I already paid for game time thru June. Oh well...... |

What a sad story. I had the same problem with not wanting to play regular high levels and always dying in iron (so far 7 dead Irons)... only it was DC what killed me all the time (when not stupidity). I have now four participants in Ironman: two human and two draenei. all about lvl 10-13. Now they're all this far I'll continue playing one human and one draenei. If (when) they die, I have a new lvl 10 or so waiting in the wings. I call this tandem-levelling as I do two of each, and I select different races to reduce the feeling of "I've been here before". I hope to eventually reach 85. (I'll continue to level the "little sis/bro" when I have only small slots of play time so as not to feel a total baby again  ) Good health - long life |

All over at 46. While running to escape from Borelgore, stealth broke just as I ran into a group of Stitches' cousins. These redesigned zones are too much for me. I'm taking a break from this. It's much too draining.

I dont rage, but Rustyfang died on Bloodmyst to many Naga...she has been reborn and has added naga to her Wish List..but I did make a personal best at 17 on a rogue..it is hard to quest where you don't know the area, I never if ever play alliance...

My son and I like this challenge. It forces you to really pay attention. I'm still hoping to be the first pure melee to hit 85.
I also don't have any desire to play my mains.
I expect this challenge to take a back seat for awhile when MOP comes out as well.
Has anyone thought about a green or blue raid challenge? As in, putting together a 10 or 25 man raid limited to green or blue level gear and seeing what the highest raid was that they could beat?

Well my poor priest has shuffled off this mortal coil. The Direglob ate me. Not really raging but I'm pretty sad...I was thinking that priest was going to be possible, but now I'm really thinking it isn't - at least not just questing. I was level 40, Direglob was 32 - and I just didn't have the mana or power to take him down. Did 5 different rotations on him before I just sorta gave up and let him eat me. Ok I guess I am raging a little since I immediately deleted the toon  |

R.I.P. Sorry to hear of your demise.  Some mobs just are doable for certain classes or even as an ironman - just the facts of life for this challenge. Don't let it get you down. I think any class is capable of reaching 85 under these rules. It's just that you have to be careful and learn what you should avoid. That thing almost got me. I forgot other irons had put out warnings about it. I went in there and engaged it and it ate me. I saw my health dropping and I popped a heal and then another all the while trying to get out and I couldn't. I finally hit lay on hands and hearthed out of the thing just in time. |

Ack..my poor Rustiiron the priest also died, did an escort/protection quest I shouldn't have done and I knew I shouldn't have. The one in Aszhara where you protect the goblin surveyor..too many angry shades on you at once (like 4) that do this Burning Hatred thing, plus the mobs that are in the area already...ack two Rusty's down in the same day at the same level (17)..I haven't yet made 20..so I am a bit sad..I have such bad luck..*sigh* I got so angry I made a hunter...swore I wouldn't go the easy route (my main is a hunter), but I need revenge..

Waaaah ! I just killed my old paladin Warecs, for the second time in Westfall. What is with him and Westfall. I just wanted to play for a little while and then he was surrounded by gnolls galore, and those stupid guards just watching. |

But alas he just died - I reroll him soon as possible. Rerolled. Look at him here: eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/steamwheedle-cartel/Warecs/advanced But can we make a raid. I mean we're from US and EU servers in a mix. Is that possible? ETA my new Warecs. On a suspicion that people following the link to the old one made my new one marked as dead. Ah, my priest Springsong met her demise at level 55. I had neglected to follow one of my cardinal rules...have your back to a wall when attacking a mob. I was killed from behind when I had almost finished a quest in the Burning Steppes. My deepest condolences to all who perished, and best wishes to all. I'm trying a new character, but I haven't officially joined the challenge yet. We'll see  |

ah..springsong...there were hopes of seeing a priest up there..I bet you look at the deaths and a LOT were from mistakes in play..well Lyssan is still at 57, maybe a priest will crack 60..you will have to wait a loooong time before it is a Rusty character..
