just got 70, did the orphans quests in SW and some from Shat. I took the boat for Borean Tundra, got dc'ed and when I came back I died of fatigue just out of reach of SW....grrr

Sorry to hear about all of your deaths.
I've had 72 characters previously, classes included mage, Shaman, and a hunter. Races included Blood Elf, Night Elf, Draenai, Orc, and currently human.
Many deaths due to DC, not paying attention being afk, falling, being stupid and getting mobbed.
The most frustrating have been the boat death at level 90 (boat keeps going, character is stuck) and falling to my death from old Dalaran after instance aborted glitch.

Here's a new iron death... Level 48 rogue, in EPL. I had logged off at Light's Hope Chapel. Login, emerge from chapel, standing next to mailbox. Did a guild chat hello. Suddenly, a BE paladin emerges from the Paladin Class Hall fighting something. 1 second later, I am dead. I'm not flagged. I'm not talking to any NPCs. Recap says "-24466 damage, suffocating cloud".
Is there some artifact quest in the pally hall? I didn't see any other NPCs, like death riders over in Duskwood. Oh wait. I took a screen shot. There is some dead dude named Volzarak the Deceiver nearby. I quick search says he was added patch 7.2
Pretty frustrating, I submitted a bug report, but guessing that will go nowhere. So - new warning for other irons.... Hanging around Light's Hope Chapel in EPL can get you killed.

Obviously have to be careful when getting treasures though. If you have flight u can explore all of WoD as well. I have quested a bit in gorgrond when I am 99, but have to be careful. Some of the bonus quests are doable and give great xp. Good luck!! |

I still have the winterspring and Kaluak dailies that give full xp as well as the reduced xp dailies from Pandaria. Also, I have flying, which helps. |

Tried my 3rd ironman over the last few days. Previous Dwarf Paladins got to 44 (Ironzad doing EPL quest with boss mob with nasty ability, did not use cooldowns) and 47 (Irondorfz rode too close to Horde outpost in Badlands). This last one got to 33; Ironzadorf doing a Hinterlands quest I cast judgement on a mob and the game just kicks me out. DC, log back in, he's dead.
I'm prepared to put many hours into a challenge where I might fail due to my lack of ability, focus or preparedness. But when its basically a game of Russian Roulette with a very small percentage that every time you pull a mob you will just fail through no fault of your own it makes the whole thing feel pretty pointless to me. I don't believe this is an issue with my connection, its seems to be a fundamental issue with the game that just occasionally you'll do something - dismount in just the wrong spot for instance, and the game kicks you out.
I can only imagine how it would feel to have this sort of DC after 100+ hours of carefully planned levelling, and pretty sure right now that I'm not going to subject myself to that.
