I fear my iron days are coming to a close Since I died @ 88 each attempt is getting harder and harder to do, with silly deaths happening trying to rush leveling I only see 3-4 regulars on and being in Australia only at certain times, so is mainly solo playing and when they get to 90 will call it I assume, I am starting to question “do I really want this? Only person enjoying this is iron who is enjoying smacking me in the face a bit too much each time I tame him Oh well time will tell

I understand the feeling. I want to do more, but real life gets in my way. However I will still chip away at it now and again.

yeah getting back to lvl 80+ sure takes some time, and begins to be repetitive. But so is doing the same dungeons again and again
Hope to see you again on the iron channel in WrA

99.99% of my time playing ironman has been with no one to talk to or even to see roaming around the landscape but then I'm happy alone & it helps me really get into my Ironman characters. I think the best way with most things is to just ease back or have a break. I have spurts of raiding, levelling, ironmanning or just generally messing about. It's understandable to feel that way but I always remind myself of the laughs & good times I've had along the way.

If you are feeling burned out, then please step away for a while. It's a major hassle to have to start over at square one, especially if you die because your head just wasn't in the game. I think Ironwood's approach to "chip away at it now and again" is a wise move if your heart just isn't in it.
It's been well over a year since Ironworgen last braved the wilds, and I really haven't been active on any other character either, but when I am ready again (and I'm SURE it will happen) I know Ironworgen will be there to pick up right where he left off.

Real talk, i died at 89 due to a bug and at this point i've said fuck it. (excuse my language) its to stressful, giving up really isn't how i like to do things. but in all honesty ill admit defeat to this challenge.
The bug i encounter was a Xrealm zone bug. Where you can accidently get PvP flagged. an 89 in whites is obviously tasty pray for a lvl 90.

happened in the barrens, opened a ticket tried explaining.. like hey, ironman toon died to a bug in your system can you revert my statistics to show no deaths.. GM response "this is a well known bug, but we currently dont have a solution to your problem." (gives link to some bug report forums) he also said "as unfortunate as it is that your ironman toon died to this bug we cannot revert anything".

I hear you. I just lost my 500th version of an ironman to the dragonmaw orcs in wetlands. I have never even made it to 30. I try to just pick away, so much else to do in game right now, having inherited my son's raiding toons, a re roll guild, and doing stuff on my main, too..will be back, as a worgen rogue (as usual), who knows what name... **there was no one in chat to hear my screams and cries of agony..**
