I'm amazed that after 2.5 years playing IMC, I can still find new ways to make the most of resources available to us. I considered this one the last time I passed through Stonetalon, but moved on and haven't used it repeatedly until now.
I've noted before that you can mostly gain the (un-useful) accomplishment with title, Ambassador of the (Horde/Alliance) by not completing the hand-in of Valiant seals at Argent Tournament so that you can keep doing dailies for that city until you're satisfied with their rep. You can even stockpile the seals to do an instant hand-in with a rep that you've already gotten exalted with, before moving on to the next.
In Stonetalon Mountains, I've found a similar but smaller scale version of this.
Each faction has a daily quest (with ~3 quest chain prerequisites required) to kill 20 of the opposing faction, a level 27/28 Daily quest:
* Seek and Destroy (H) (+Org rep)
* Thinning the Horde (A) (+Darn rep)
I'm familiar with the Horde quest lines, and looked over the Alliance quests but did not find a purely analogous quest for them. (See Mr. _'s Wild Ride exception below)
Once a Horde player reaches Krom'Gar Fortress through quest lines, there's a pair of quests burning tents and killing one named, then a trio of quests in the mine below to gather parts, rescue peons, and kill elementals. Then you're ready.
* Seek and Destroy should already be available, and likely active. Get it if not already active.
* Accept In Defense of Krom'gar Fortress but DO NOT COMPLETE IT.
* Hop into a turret and kill the incoming planes and their crew that parachute out after the vehicle gets hit, until you've completed Seek and Destroy.
* Exit the turret, (abandon In Defense of Krom'gar Fortress), hand in Seek and Destroy for about 50 silver, ~3000 exp and 350 Orgrimmar rep.
** Go to the inn right there. Camp out.
Repeat the process above each day, until you're satisfied with either the exp & rep gains, or until you've filled out your rest exp to move on. Maximize its effectiveness by arriving at the qualifications as "No longer rested".
I've currently got two characters in this cycle, and it takes approximately 2 to 3 minutes or less to log in, take quests, fire turrets, handin S&D, and log out, because it's all right there. It's very easy and even risk-free once you're into it that far. This is far faster than a round of PvZ daily, and the inn right there makes it worth staying around.
Mr. _'s Wild Ride exception:
Both factions have a quest like this, where you have to gather parts for a mechanized vehicle in one quest, then run that vehicle around killing opposing faction. You can qualify for this quest and not complete it similar to above, to repeatedly churn the 'kill 20 opposing' quest. This route has two disadvantages. The prerequisite takes you through the scaffolding high above the big lake and all its Venture Co. mobs, where you've got to get the 4th part (although then the mines and other prereq's don't apply). Also, although performing the daily in this manner will be far faster than going out and killing 20 opponents on your own, you still have to descend to the fight, engage, and kill them off. Even when killing five or more at a time, it isn't as fast as jumping into a turret and returning to the inn.
Effective levels: about 27 to 30-ish.
Edit: I forgot to mention: This is cheap, as in unfair, exploitative, and perhaps against the design of the game. If you're too honorable to lower yourself to this tactic, you are able to learn from this without disparaging others. There, I've disrespected the idea already so your comment is unnecessary. "Spirit" and all that.
