I'm pretty sure that the game gives you one of the buffs by default. Unavoidable quest buffs are allowed in the rules. (See the second question in wowchallenges.com/index.php?Show=FAQIron ) I always use Fiona's buff. That seems to be the default and the bonus is pretty minor (no combat bonuses, just some extra silver and a chance at a battle pet).

Only the Lucky charm (because you get it by default) and Pamela's Doll are allowed.... and in my opinion you should have to switch to the Doll once that option is open. The rest all grant strong benefits (extra damage/heals/movement speed) and go against the spirit of the challenge.

Makes sense. If I go with Fiona's Caravan this time around I'll stick to Pamela's doll. Fiona's perk is more annoying than anything else tbh.

The wolf in the "I'm Not Supposed to Tell You This" quest has a bleed attack, Carnivorous Bite, that can kill an iron rapidly.

Much like all things in Ironman it all depends on the class you are playing but yes that bleed is nasty. My main point is none of the other buffs should be allowed as they give strong benefits.

I found the ghosts more of a problem. They surprise you, have a tendency to mob, and hit hard. Last time I did this quest I had to play dead and wait for my character's health to slowly come back, then lay down a freezing trap before reviving my pet.
