Thanks all. It still hurts like hell, but what can you do. And, to be perfectly honest, it was so easy this time, I felt like the ride I was getting was far too easy for it to really count as ironman.
I've created a couple of Pandas to gently, and very slowly, test the waters with the new level scaling. Am currently in Tirisfal Glades and level 18. Extremely distracted by Legion content though, so I wont be playing my iron nearly as religiously as I did before.

RIP Discordiron, 0-102I'm not even sure what happened. I reached 102 by collecting treasures, then decided to do a little questing in Frostfall Ridge. Tested a quest chain out on my tin, and completed it no problem. Moved over to my Iron, and the boss from the final quest killed me in a matter of seconds. So that's the end of my second major attempt. So long, Ironman. See you again maybe next year. That sux; almost as bad as getting to 107 and getting redflagged for accidentally equipping a non-white/gray item.

Level 20.
Allied races are so much fun, I can't even think of seriously working on my iron right now, but I did spend a little time on her today.
A series of quests in Sen'jin village sends you into Northwatch Hold. Noticed, on my tin, that the soldiers in that hold hit damn hard, so caution would be needed. Took in my iron. Another player was also questing in the area. Didn't give that much thought as I headed to pick up one of the quest objects. It's guarded by two NPCs. Shot a frost trap at the one further away, then attacked the one closer to me. The other quester also attacked the one closer to me, so I switched to the one further away, breaking him out of the ice trap. Suddenly I'm dealing with two soldiers, alone, my health is failing fast, and my pet is dead.
That rat bastard of another player had run on ahead, leaving me to deal with both soldiers, so that he could pick up the quest object.
I managed to survive with barely an inch of my life left. There's no doubt that things are almost stupidly hard now, and I haven't even approached the bits where it's supposed to be impossible. We'll see how far this iron gets.

Level 21ish. (Tin is at 22).
Love is in the Air is too depressing. I keep thinking of how great these dailies would have been for my previous ironman. Ugh.

Level 22.
I have one Nightborne I'm trying to level to max level as she's gonna be my main. I have my old main, who I'm using to still occasionally farm rep. I have 6 other level 100s and my ex-iron 102, who I'm using to farm the Love is in the Air mount. I also want to get those level 100s into Class Order Halls, since I've heard you can make a lot of money that way, but suspect, like Garrisons, that'll change with BfA. I also don't have nearly the time I had over the holidays.
Basically, I've decided Love is in the Air would have been awesome at level 100, but in my 20s it's kinda pointless. So far normal quests are just as doable and, since there's no giant run around, slightly less time consuming.
I was going to finish all the zones that cap at level 20, but now I wonder if there's much point to that. With so many zones to choose from, if I ever get to a quest that's impossible I can just look for another quest.

After some thought, I've decided that it's time to prioritize. With my alts, my new main, and all the things I want to do before BfA, I just can't justify having an iron to work on right now. So I did an experiment that I'm curious about - do white armor kits and white scopes count as enchantments? (They do) And spent a fun few minutes trying to suicide my iron (Panda was a good choice - nearly impossible to kill with falling damage) used the love tickets I've bought so far to get a couple of lovely dresses, (they're uncommon quality now, btw) and deleted my iron and my tin.
I will create new iron in BfA. The rules do feel like they need a little bit of fine-tuning right now anyway.
To everyone else, good luck!
