Good luck! I've never been able to play a pali normally, never mind Ironman.

My main is a paladin. Has been since vanilla. They have changed a lot over the years and been maligned. But I love the class, especially in PvP. I have started ironmen hunters, druid, rogue, monk, mage, shaman and paladin. I would definitely put paladin up there with monk and hunter. Nice pull abilities, quick kills, and survivability.
Have fun leveling!

I suggest keeping both. Run mainly with the two hander and if things get tight, swap to S&B and seal twist. Faster leveling and an oh shit go to.

As I have told before you can change weapon - but not armour - mid-fight I always play Paladin and have a button to two armour sets on my bar. One with 1Hand weapon and shield, one with 2Hand weapon, the armour being the same for both. The buttons on the bars let me change between the two weapon sorts whenever it suits me.

And don't forget Word of Glory for a good heal when you're topped off on holy power. Good job pulling out a win against four! ?

... as i was opening it an ogre mage spawned right next to me and a melee ogre spawned opposite me......it was too late the other two had spawned from opening the box, oh dear. Time slowed down, and i just took a breath and focused on the job at hand, im fighting to the death, every second and every decision from this point forward is life or death. ... I love these types of situations! Reminds me of a similar situation I had years ago when I was cursed with respawns. This is where I believe the Iron Challenge makes you a better player. On a regular character, death is no big deal, so what. But on an Iron character, death is everything! When you can face up to a hopeless situation, keep your cool, and come out of it with a pulse, you should feel very proud. Sad to say but I have a history of cracking under pressure (and I don't mean just in a game), so when I can survive something like that it makes me feel very good, builds my self-esteem a bit, and makes the next situation a little easier (and I don't mean just in a game). Good story.

Good story indeed. But, I reached the conclusion a while ago that the more experience you have the less you choose to be in this type of situation. Without SM or FD I would not have entered that tower at all - my shaman did the outside quests but skipped the tower. This is the reason why.

What a great story, and as Ironworgen says, just the sort of example of why Ironman makes you a better player. (Though as Lyssan says, Ironman also makes you a more cautious player. )

I found it easier if you start from the top of the tower, and make your way down. You can even sometime completely avoid some spawned mos

You don't need Sporeggar reputation for that shield - it's sold by vendors in Northrend.
