Once again I have accepted the challenge for the fourth (and hopefully the final and long lasting time).
Something seems to have gone awry with my reincarnation and I have come back as a Night Elf which should fuel all the slanderous gossip about my lineage. Not sure if my race change means I have lived good past lives and been upgraded or if I have devolved, but all that Worgen panting drove me crazy so it's a welcome change.
I have decided to see how I do with only using starting gear, although I have swapped out my Night Elf Druid garb for some spiffy Worgen caster threads to honor my heritage. I look good! Don't really need a weapon as I usually either cast at range or use cat form. However I did notice that starting our as Worgen gave advantage over Night Elves as I was reincarnated without shoes which initially put me at a 9 armor disadvantage.
So begins (again) the challenge!

What appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary confrontation with Blood Elf adversaries at The Cryo-Core of Bloodmyst Isle took a turn for the worse.
A simple pull with Starfire revealed a hidden bloody elf who must have been kneeling or something because I was shocked to see two where moments before there was only one. (could have been some sort of elven mitosis I suppose)
Not to worry, a simple Hot will help me through this with minimal concern.
However, a third bloody elf, who was wandering an apparently safe distance away suddenly was blessed with some heightened senses and ran to the aid of the bloody elves.
Not wanting to be a hero sung about in song (those songs always seem to be sung after the hero's passing), I decided that discretion is the better part of valor and it was better to live and fight another day so I used my life-saving natural ability to meld with the shadows and disappear.
Unfortunately when fireballs are hurling through the air at you they don't seem to be very concerned with shadows.
So ends the saga of Ironworgen, Night Elf Druid extraordinaire. Well, maybe just ordinaire.
