Ahuurn's Elixir

Ok. I am trying to remain as calm as possible.

Few days ago i noticed i'm red-flagged at my Ironman toon (Niepokorna).

I've used Elixir.

I thought WTF?! I didn't use *looks at statistics* Elixir used: Ahuurn's Elixir. Oh. BUT THAT WAS A QUEST ELIXIR AND I USED IT ONLY ONCE. As far as I know it is allowed in rules.

5a. No Elixirs (except those that count as elixirs for quests). Break this rule and your character is RED FLAGGED.
5b. PLEASE NOTE: Quests that require Elixir use (like Drakuru's Elixir) allow for only ONE USE of the elixir per quest. Extra uses of the Elixir will RED FLAG you. I CANNOT CHANGE THIS. USE ELIXIRS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I searched for other examples like mine and i found that this particular elixir should NOT EVAH red-flag me.

I expect, and i hope that it will be fixed really soon. Otherwise, my keybord and mouse might not survive my rage.

PS: Now, when my thinking is partially back - will deleting from Ironman list my toon and adding it again fix it?

Hey, nice to see another Polish challenger.

Elixirs are kind of a thin ice - if you're absolutely sure you only used it once I'd contact Stone, but then again, I am almost certain that he will say that it's just how it happens with elixirs.. we all had some really unfair deaths.

There's also this "use elixirs at your own risk".

Yeah, what Crystalpall said. Over the ages, learned to just skip elixir quests and avoid them. Stone's code is supposed to compensate, but Bliz changes the game too now and then. In the long run to 110, that one elixir quest won't make a difference in points and most don't block other quests either.

As for deleting and re-adding, that action won't fix it. If it stays flagged, keep this toon as a "scout" to use/test future quests. Really handy to test tricky quests that involve a vehicle or elite - before your living toon dies.

Not only I haven't used any elixirs, but I avoided all the potion quests as well. Also everything water breathing related... I think Blizzard should really not count these quest elixirs at all, but they count whack-a-mole as a kill so I don't know what't going on in their heads...

Yo guys, found the solution, well, atleast it worked for me.

Make sure you checked the achievement box in the interface so it only shows your own achievements, even when you use your account only for ironman (like I do). I did this quest on my rogue and it worked fine and now I did it on my Paladin and I got flagged. I ticked the box (which I usually don't do), relogged, updated my character and it worked again. Try that out before giving up your character and be aware of future elixir quests.
