Hey everyone, I am a huge fan of the Iron Man Challenge and I am going to try to do something different with it. I'm going to attempt to level every class that an Orc can play to level 110 in a limited amount of time. I think this is a super difficult challenge and I'm going to stream it all on twitch. I'm not sure if anyone will find it interesting at all, but anyone is welcome to come hang out and watch! www.Twitch.tv/orcgamer17Thank you, Orc P.S. please post your opinion on my idea if you have the time!

hehe so don't forget that with 7.3.5, if scaling stays the way it currently is on the PTR, the Ironman challenge will become MUCH more difficult and it will take MUCH longer. Warriors (at least I know about Fury) will take much longer since they have to sit down and regenerate health after each single mob. Two mobs will be your death if you don't watch out.
So I'd set the time limit to the release of 7.3.5 if I were you.
I like the idea though, maybe you could give it some specific additional rules to highlight the Orc characteristics? (e.g. no flower picking quests, war war war,...?!)

Thanks for the input man, I love that idea about making additional rules! I also did not know how close 7.3.5 might be. With that in mind, I will have to readjust my timeline. Thanks again for the input, friend!

I certainly see potential in an Ork challenge, here some random ideas/thoughts updates in boldMak'gora rules (Duel of Honor - Orks challenge superiors for leadership)
- You attack/kill only enemies of a higher level than you. (not that useful for 7.3.5)
- You do not attack/kill neutral non-quest NPCs
- You only equip gear you've earned through a kill (BoE-items)
- You aren't allowed to run away from a battle
Your lifestyle
- Warmachine: you don't pick flowers or bring gifts to lovers. Choose your quests accordingly.
- bloodthirsty fighter: Earn the first two levels in a zone by killing mobs, before you start a quest.
hatred: you can't run past an Alliance camp without killing at least 5 Alliance scum. - bigger = better: You don't equip weapons which LOOK weaker than the one you have (even it it has better stats/level)
- Orks are superior: you don't take orders from non-Orcs (no quests from non-Orc questgivers) - might get difficult
- Badass: you don't wear chest-armor & gloves. Show those muscles!! No capes either (Lats ftw). Hardcore: No rings and amulets. (especially nice with straight-back Orks)
I'll think of more ideas
Ironman with 7.3.5 isn't a good idea in it's current implementation, just too hard and fighting two enemies or more will probably result in your death. Not wearing specific armorpieces and going only for specific weapons as described above might give you a decent challenge though, especially when you want to pull more than one mob.
Hell, I might try this one on the PTR ^^

Ironman in all its implementations, through 4 expansions has survived and evolved, it has seen dramatic change through Legion and will continue to see itself evolve into another form. Fortunately this form will take on a more challenging and streamlined leveling path. I presume you have just joined us here quite recently, perhaps post Legion/spec implementations. So you will be forgiven in not knowing the history of the challenge and how what you are seeing in 7.3.5 being reminiscent of the old skill levels of ironman but with specs. You will most likely see the challenge going back to Hunter being iron meta once again as it was pre-Legion, more seasoned Irons challenging themselves with harder classes/specs. Did you know that Shaman/Mage/Warrior were almost impossible pre-Legion? I can tell you one thing for sure the challenge will always evolve, always be viable and will always be a good idea.

I'm sorry, you're absolutely right in that I have never played a difficult Ironman. I will certainly try how far I get and I welcome the challenge It wasn't my intention to scare people away. You said that Ironman will evolve, I was trying to say that maybe it would be a good idea to let it evolve...

I like the idea of creating your own Orc army. I watched some of your videos. Good on ya for immediately remaking your character when you lost the first. I'll keep checking back to see how you're doing. :]
