Alternatively take this gnoll on as close to his native level as possible. At levels 10-15 the fight is certainly more comfortable, this doesn't mean you shouldn't strafe left/right to avoid his fire bomb though. Western Plaguelands It's About Time - You are required to duel a number of Argent Dawn recruits, the lowest Hearthglen Trainee has 6,363 health at level 38; 2k more than any standard mob outside of Hearthglen at the same level. Desperate Acts - Named NPC target has a little under 15k health at level 38. On my Tin Man Arms warrior I was able to win on the second attempt, it took creating a very large gap and a heavy silk bandage to do it. Regardless, I wouldn't try beating her on the proper challenge.

Defend the drill was not easy before, but now is even harder. There are many waves of mobs, the first one is a lone mob so it went well. The second wave had 2 mobs, and I couldn't kill them both before the 3rd wave popped in, so I ended up with 3 mobs at the same time. Used Feign Death but they had some aoe and killed me anyway (I had already switched to tinman because of bad respawn in Dustswallow)

There's rare basilisk in Desolace www.wowhead.com/npc=14227/hissperakIt took me about 3 minutes on my hunter with turtle pet to kill it. The hp is not higher than usual, around 12k at level 50, but there's something about his armor wtf. Oh, also the quest to free prisoners from the centaur camp. It has 3 linked guards, it was pretty hard before the patch, now I just didn't bother, my pet barely handles one mob.

Just a quick reminder about the quest Prisoners of War in Redridge Mountains: the distraction ability can backfire and draw the attention of the elites instead!

It seems we may have been trying this quest at similar times and I agree. I trialed this quest a few times; every attempt was a failure with a single death to a respawn. When the double attackers appear you'll have maybe two/three free shots on one mob before the other ignores the pump and targets you. Couple this with a mob that has the ability to pull you back means escape attempts can be deadly; my alternative escape option as a Worgen spared me a second death. Not worth it. As far as I'm aware this will be the point that your questing time in Thousand Needles comes to an early end.

we already knew about being careful around Nesingwary camp in Stranglethorn because of the 'neutral' lvl 110 guards. This morning, I went into the camp but I aggroed one of the tigers that are all around. My pet used its aoe so one of the guards one-shotted us both. SO either you disable your pet aoe before going into the camp or put your pet on passive as you enter, and if you aggro a tiger get some distance before defending yourself

I really don't understand why those guards are attackable on a PvE server. The same applies for the Whisperwind Grove in Felwood.

While I've never died to Nesingwary guards, those Whisperwind ones certainly took out one of my Irons. I'm not sure if the quest givers are attackable, if not, then not sure why the guards are there. I'm pretty sure at one point quest givers WERE attackable and if they are now, will that still be the case in a PvE-only world come Battle for Azeroth?

The same happens for the quest Arelion's Secret in Hellfire Peninsula. Funny thing is that I've done that like 10 times in my attempts, my OCD just couldn't stop. I would finish the quest and fly up in the air lol
Also on one of my tries I was getting all those fire quests on the Midsummer event I think they are. I didn't know that the alliance ones flag me for PvP, I just noticed it in Zangarmarsh, so I walked flagged for PVP for like a week. Fortunately world PvP is completely dead haha

Twin temptresses : each have twice the hp of normal mobs, and Salia has a 'charm' ability so you can't attack her for about 5 seconds while she uses it. I used freeze trap on Salia and killed Moora, but Moora respawned just has I killed Salia (I let the pet die and use FD at some distance). Be very careful

Swamp of Sorrows - In With a Bang - www.wowhead.com/quest=27600/in-with-a-bang - This is where Crazy Larry shoots you via cannon onto ship - go collect questionable reading material and such. First, the respawn rate is very fast, like 20-30 seconds. Just as you kill a NPC and move to next, it is already respawning. Then, as you try to go below deck, you'll end up aggroeing 4-5 NPCs ! And no where to run. I had to jump overboard and SM to barely escape. Not iron friendly ! Okay, to add, I am really disliking SoS area now. As rough as Redridge. The quest "Orcs and Humans" - those orcs hit very hard and fast. And you can't use Paralysis cause local alliance fighter will instantly break it. If you go to SoS, recommend you stick to the normal grind quests, but avoid above quests, don't go into the cave.

Its fine to say that an area is "not iron friendly", but it is a very broad statement. You really have to take into consideration what class/spec/race you're playing. Hope this statement doesn't trigger anyones feelings, just my opinion.
