Hunter pets are changing too... for the better though. All Hail our Iron Hunter Overlords
Moving First Aid to tailoring is just silly considering very few people use bandages anyways so it's not exactly a 'perk' for tailors. Running away to bandage was becoming an Iron strategy again... so much for that.

No one is talking about the spell ability damage change.

It's melee class abilities scaling with attack power rather than weapon damage that has me concerned. I just don't know if this is a positive or negative. Warriors are already in a dark place, is their future even more bleak? or could damage scale better as the a character levels?
I suppose we'll have to wait.

I don't have Alpha, otherwise I'd certainly test... BUT... I *feel* like it's a good thing for everyone.
Your AP will always increase as you level up, however, we really don't know how this is going to compare with weapon damage. I would imagine at higher levels when there isn't a new weapon for you, this will be an improvement over lower levels.

I see this is an older thread, but I was just going to make a thread on the same topic. I am wondering how First Aid removal will change Ironman? Maybe we could be allowed to learn cooking instead, so that we are allowed to good basic foods without buffs?
First Aid was the only profession we were allowed to have (to my understanding), and it could come in handy at times.

I don't think cooking will ever be allowed for IM, perhaps tailoring though

If they make this change, won't we be able to buy bandages off the AH to use? If yes, no big deal... Doesn't make sense that we all have to level up tailor skill to *use* a bandage....
Thoughts?

Just allow characters to learn Tailoring for First Aid and nothing else. Not like we can use the crafted gear anyway.

it is only in Alpha. They can change things a hundred times before going live. I'll think about rule changes when it will be closer to going live
