Wolfianna is now Azlyra (with another version in between that decided to help the guards with converted citizens and was overwhelmed...)
I haven't leveled many alts recently, took me forever to get to 85 on my main, who is a hunter..and I'm game for a challenge (O.o) so I picked a class I have not done, but I am liking the rogue, with their use of throwing knives and/or guns and crossbows, plus stealth is great, if used wisely... sometimes i like to explore too much or do things a bit different..not always a good thing.. Wolfianna almost died in Gilneas swimming across from Keel Harbor to try to explore an area of gilneas that she didn't have, turned out to be full of plague and forsaken with gas masks...
Yesterday i managed to kill off all 3 of my characters, which each had reached at least lvl 10..see what happens today...

The challenge does promote solo play, so if you are comfortable with that play style you should do well. However, one thing that seems to have come out of the challenge is the shared joy at seeing other ironman challengers level, or the sheer misery at seeing other ironman challengers get munched specially at the higher levels.
Chat can be distracting and deadly if you let it. But it can add that extra bit of fun to your long quest to 85. Or for some, to 20.

I am definitely in the 'loner' category and I'm so glad!
22 priest-ddtr (death due to respawns) 16 mage-well ummm, just bad playing 15 druid-had wowironman.com up in the background and accidently alt tabbed instead of alt 1 and died to a rare spawn. LOL Moral of the story...i don't have any other windows open when playing an ironman character.
back on a lvl 14 mage so we'll see how it goes!
good luck to all!

I play on Twisting Nether. All of my high level toons are on there, so I thought I would continue there. I'd also forgotten that TN is rp-PVP.... ;_;
I got to 22 quite easily on my first toon. I was enjoying my shiny new nightsaber, prancing through Duskwood, when OH GOD WHAT IS THA--
*screeeeeeeeeech*
a druid literally swoops down and picks me off.
Let's just say that I didn't play for a day or two.
---
I have stubbornly decided to stay on TN, although once I reach BC areas, I am going to get seriously worried with all the 85s mining in Hellfire....!!!
My latest toon is the nelf hunter Korashk. Her name means "black fate" or "unlucky fate" because unfortunately it's hard to be too hopeful about reaching 85! xD I wish her luck, and maybe I shall post some stories about her adventures should I feel up to the task (I have never done so).
My husband and I have decided to make 2 additional toons and complete Ironman together - we are a team, after all! :D I don't think it would really be fair to add them to the site haha, even though we are following all of the other rules. XD
^ tl;dr. I am a TN babby. I have insomnia. Lord, I was born a ramblin woman.... *cough*

I started on WrA and joined the Guild. Bad mistake...800+ members and I died at level 11 from distraction on Guild chat. I too am lousy at multi-tasking. I went to Sentinels..very quiet and died at 28 from loneliness. So I am back on WrA but not joining a mega guild or the chat line. Will see how it goes.

G'day, I am apparently only joined by 1 other Ironman contender on Frostmourne PvP now. It has been a lonely ride for me here. But, man has it been enjoyable. I have not enjoyed the game this much in years. You have to plan almost every mob kill in order to finish on top and with a health bar in reasonable shape.
It's great. I had a Horde mage with 126k mana trying to find my tiny Shadowmelded hunter in the forest in Ashenvale the other night. He was bouncing around arcane exploding. My pet and I completely still. Heart racing. He then fireblast a guard and died. I had the pleasure of the teabag right before hearthing to Darnassus for the night!
PvP near misses aside it has been a lonely path to travel when you are virtually alone in terms of contenders being 2 on the realm!

Started a NE in US Aerie Peak today. Feiiv. Very much not crowded. I've killed four rares, and I'm only level 11 right now. (Furlbog in village east of doloran, furlbog in cave west of doloran, harpy and furlbog in north-central teladrassil).
I don't believe I've ever seen four rares in a single day before, except possibly in Molten Front.

If you think its alot, you didnt seen how much (around 10) i killed in dun morogh, its crazy. On the other hand, there is not much difficulty on lower levels, so its nice to get to higher level faster by killing rares.

I think there are only three or four challengers on Hyjal. I started there just before the weekend, and I'm at 18 now with my first incarnation. Going warlock since the others on Hyjal that I know about all seem to be hunters.

Hey, thanks! I didn't know how to search by realm. Good to know who my "competition" is now. (I know, it's not a competition...)

Hi, another loner here. I have tried to make "undying" toons for a long time, but never made it past lvl 11. Now I'm at lvl 14, with only one rough spot. (Being beset by 2 blood elves lvl 10 and 14! when I was 11). The Naaru had not forgotten me, and I survived I see now that I have 2 fellow ally-irons on Steamwheedle cartel (EU) Rusty
