What about the waterbreathing/swim speed given by Captain Hanes to do this Q? www.wowhead.com/quest=9672It is not impossible to do it without, but I feel using this buff is totally legit, as it is how the game was meant. What's your opinion?

What's your opinion? if it's a buff given by an NPC in order to complete a quest, then you're fine the ones to look out for are the buffs (like PW:Fort) that you receive upon completion

In Darkshore the Quest Ritual Bonds give you a buff, (+ 10% speed or -10 % damage or +10% haste) that cannot be removed, and activates every time you come to Darkshore ever after. I hope I'll not be banned for doing it. This Quest is - as far as I know - a part of the questline to get Withers. www.wowhead.com/item=46325

Nothing you can do about them since you can't click them off. If it still bothers you, might I suggest taking the speed boost? seems the least combat enhancing to me.

I am not bothered, but I wanted to warn those who are. Incidentally the buff I chose - the damage-lessening one - not bc of damage, I was lvl 25 after all but imagine to be left alone by all those bloodthirsty bears! - saved my life when The Battle for Darkshore was bugged and left me fighting Avatar of Soggoth without any help. I ended the fight with 42 HP left at lvl 26!

I found a totally harmless buff today. It is called Stormwind Mud Pie. When you eat it you get a buff saying "Your stomach is rumbling". Duration is 2 hours. I have yet to see what happens at the end of those 2 hours How do I post a picture. If I click "Insert Image" it looks like this: [/img] Edited for typos
