Sorry about that. Was reading your earlier posts about hit, miss, miss, heal, miss, hit, heal.
I can relate ! For some reason, maybe since the last big patch, seems like either I'm more squishy, or the mobs tougher, or my DPS is less. What ever it is, seems like every fight, even when I'm 6 levels above them is a complete struggle. Use every talent, every trick, and still have my health at 45% or so when done. Then have to food up before next fight, plus wait for any cool downs. I don't remember it being this rough. Seemed like before if I was 5 levels higher, I could get into a rhythm of attack, smack, smack, boom, smack, kill, hit the recuperate for heals and by the time I get behind the next NPC, ready to go. Not now. It is fight, struggle, rest, wait, heal, try again.
Did Bliz nerf our irons more lately?
BTW - hope you re-roll and keep us posted. :- )

Well, I'm back after a week of licking my wounds. The iron bug is in me, and I couldn't stay away forever. Thank you everyone for your support. It means the world to me. I did have an ironman monk on Wyrmrest that was level 21, so I will work on her. Probably continue recording some of my journey. Mostly so that I will have a record should I find myself starting anew.
Level 21 Loch Modan (finishing up from where I had left off)
Loch is a little trying for me on monk. Coming back, I was on the ogre portion. I killed the elite ogre and the human lady rare in the same quest area without any issues. I was fully vendored geared for monk bis. What surprised me was the last ogre boss. I had the low hp, flashing red icon before I killed him. Don't remember him being trouble, so I can only assume he got in a few lucky punches. But really, Loch is not the place to be cheap on vendor gear.
Level 21 Redridge Mountains
I only do the quests at Lakshire, and only up to the quest in the basement of the inn. Even though the mobs are considerably lower than I am at the time, it's a little intimidating because there are so many runners and monk as no survivability abilities yet. But I'm thinking next time to come here before the ogre boss, and then go back and do him in. After Redridge, I looked at my quest log & realized I had never done the last quest in Elwynn to get my 8 slot back--the one where you have 3 mobs to kill. It's really, really hard to do on monk when I am questing there. I only did it once. I'd clear the are, kill one of the 3, then run away & reset, then kill the 2nd one, run away & reset, then the last one. Now had I'd been smart, I would have killed the quest mob, looted & then ran away. It's not likely to work so well with crz, and even though it worked for me, it's rather risky. So now, I always go back later to get my bag.
Level 22 Wetlands
Murlocs, need I say more? A few water quests are pain for monk being I have to eat after most kills, and I can't eat in water. Monk takes a tremendous amount of damage, so I'm not sure, can't remember, if I can take on 2 should an add show up. I stay here until 26 before heading to the dreadful Duskwood. I don't ever come here until 26 on monk when I finally have some survivability skills, namely touch of death and expel harm, my itty bitty baby heal.
Level 26 Duskwood
Alas, I ran out of rest. Not sure any more if it's even worth it to worry about at this level. I did kill that rare that always seems to be here, and it was disheartening to only get 1k xp because I had ran out of rest.
I do have another monk, 30 something, on Proudmore I think. Maybe I will go check her out. Thinking about leaving her alone and just working on this toon as I so enjoy the fellowship of other irons.
My druid should be 86 tomorrow, and I find druid to be so much more enjoyable to play. So I will probably start questing on her and put the monk to rest for a bit.
Hmmm, I'm thinking this monk may have been removed from the iron list as she was made so long ago. Have to check.
Deadster: Don't think monk was nerfed, she always sucked to level. I wish I would have worked on her after pally as, by comparison, she is easier, so she would have "seemed" uber. I only started working on monk while I was waiting for druid to get to 86 before I started Hyjal. I was really starting to get into her rhythm and finding reasons to like her before her demise to dc.

After Duskwood, headed off to STV & Booty Bay. I was lucky to find a few rares. The croc by the river, the lion by the tiger boss, the murloc rare, and the croc rare in the cave almost to BB. Didn't think they existed with crz. Some quests were intimidating. The ogre boss in the cave hit pretty darn hard. The gorilla boss that is summoned hit hard too. When I was on the 2nd one, a horde showed up & finished off him & #3. Although they hit hard, I was doing ok with the intention of using touch of death for the 3rd one. At least he didn't do to me what I've had done to me twice before. Someone comes along and tags the 3rd boss & I have to do it all over again. One person did it by mistake & another did it on purpose. As usually, I didn't do looking through the troll hole, or something like that. It's an auto accept quest that frequently has disastrous outcomes, so I just abandoned it. I didn't do the last Nessingwary tiger boss as he comes with 2 adds and sometimes stealthed panthers. That giant gorilla on the isle was a wimp which surprised me because I do remember him hitting some toons pretty hard too. I saved touch of death for all bosses just incase they tried to get the best of me. I didn't phase BB, I didn't even accept the rum quest that starts it. Heard bad things about the phase part, but then someone said it wasn't too bad. But tell me a quest isn't wise for imc & I pass on it even if others have done it successfully. After all, I have done the drake to drake in Storm Peaks at least 40 times, and I have only died twice, unfortunately both times have been an imc. And kinda like Patches, the fat guy in duskwood, I'm sure I got his name wrong, but he's phased too. There's a way to do him although he's a little more sucky on mdps. A friend warrior imc died to him with by a dot after he had killed the boss. Level 37 (I think) Desolace I picked up the quest in BB to take me to the Barrens, in this case Ratchet. By turning that one in, I get another quest that gives me a free ride to Dustwallow. I then get the fp there before heading off to Desolace. I believe without this fp, there would be no connecting flights to get back. I got a headache running through the Barrens and Stonetalon to get to Desolace. Kept thinking of all the deaths to glitches with the old 90's dailies to poor, unsuspecting imc. In Stonetalon, you really need to know the safe spots. The first few times I went through, I went the Horde way to get to Desolace & each time, I got smacked by pvp guards. Not hard enough to hurt or dismount me, but it flagged me. One time I went through, there was a horde there waiting for me to get flagged. Fooled him But, I knew I was doing something wrong & there had to be a better way for an alliance, so finally Kyrie took me through to show me the alliance way one day. At this level, I start questing here at Karnum's Glade as I am too high for the beginning quests at Nigels Point. I stop at "Time for Change" I vaguely remember doing it on an imc, but since I don't remember for sure, later imc's I haven't done that quest line. Magram Warden of the "Free the Kolkar Prisoners" has 2 side kicks. That's 3 mobs. I seem to remember the last time I did it was to kill the boss & run away. This time I wanted to see if Monk could do it normally. Hard fight, but she did it. The demons hit pretty hard, so I saved touch of death for them and killed the infernals while it was on cd. One bar to 39 and not sure where I want to go next. I use to always go to go to Feralas next and then farm the rares until I got to a level I felt comfortable with before heading off to Needles. I think there spawn rate is every 2 hours and, if I'm lucky, I get 5 every pass through. But then I quit the blimp quest in Tanaris because it likes to glitch, and that cut out a lot of that zone, and I needed a way to make up the lost xp, so I started including Dustwallow in my zones. Dustwallow & Feralas are equal zones, but Dustwallow seems more difficult to me. Guess I will start Feralas as it's nearby. Maybe tomorrow I will start back on Druid. Quests: 386/3000 Kills: 1430 Desolace: 27/55

Level 39 Feralas
Uneventful. Did most quests. Didn't do the ogre ritual one as that quest likes to glitch & it's the last of the quest line so no point taking a risk. Once on pally, all the npc's disappeared & chogal was picking on me, so I ran out of the area. Decided to give it one more attempt, and when I went back in, the battle hadn't reset and the npc's were there, so I was able to finish it. But an old friend imc had advised against doing it, so I stopped.
I did save "Stinglasher" as it's much easier to farm the boss rare if I have the wasp boss quest, so I can monitor the location of the patting boss. There's also 2 patting mobs, making this boss somewhat risky to farm unless I am prepared and aware.
Haven't had any rest xp, but I am hoping I made it up in rares. They weren't in sync so it was somewhat a pain, and then finally it was time for a rare and I was at the end of the zone, but then I couldn't remember which rare to hit. But, I found him. Zones seem to be getting more deserted like it was before crz, so I am hoping when I do go back to farm them, I can get them all in sync. Headed off to Dustwallow, so it won't be worth it to farm rares while there. Dustwallow will be my last zone for awhile. After it's done, I will be back on druid until she is 90 or, forget it. I think I can, I think I can...
Quests: 420/3000 Kills: 1691 Feralas: 40/40
Level 42 Dustwallow
Uneventful. Finished the entire zone without any scares. I did have 2 worrisome quests. One was placing the raptor bait. The difficulty with that one is there are 2 mobs there that will each spawn a pack of dogs. It almost killed a hunter of mine once because I wasn't prepared for it. But I did it at 43, and at that level, I was able to place the bait without aggroing the mobs. The other one was the quest where u go in & beat the guy silly and then turn in the quest to him. He's a worry because of the shear volume of mobs surrounding him. But wow, it was quite simple for monk. Of course my level helped. I got done with Dustwallow one bar shy of 45. Sigh. I headed back to Darnassus and picked up my level 45 gear & food in preparation & anticipation of continuing my journey, some day. I headed back to Feralas hoping to find a few rares to ding me, but was not the case. Not sure what level I go to Needles on. I know it's at least 45, so not sure if I even need to farm rares other than to get me to 45. And druid is on a different realm, so it would be a pain to farm. But this is the last window of opportunity to get as high as possible for Outlands as from here on out, I will be doing the rest of the zones in Azeroth.
Peace, see you on Druid

snipped a bit .............Headed off to Dustwallow, so it won't be worth it to farm rares while there. Safe rare on top of the hill north east of Brakenwall Village ... Heronis a white eagle. There are several others wandering around which I don't remember just now but this I know because I killed it 2 mins ago I'll note any others I find here on my travels.

Dinged 46 farming the 5 rares in Feralas. Had really good luck with 4 or 5 being in sync & only had to go there every 2 hours. Also had amazing luck with the chest behind the boss on the island off of Feathermoon. I found it 4 times, and usually I'm lucky to find it once.
46 Found me in Needles. Nothing was difficult at this level, even the well drilling quest which can be very hard for some classes. Didn't do those elite bosses because my dps isn't high enough to kill them before they kill the npc who helps me. But I did do the quests in the area that don't require the bosses.
Headed to Badlands. I save the Plaguelands portal in Booty Bay for when I'm ready to come here. The fire elemental boss could be cc'd with touch of death, so I so no reason to kill him. I don't phase the zone as they can be deadly, so I stopped after the Deathwing quest line.
Next came Tanaris. I lose most of the zone because I no longer do the blimp quest as it has been known to glitch & killed my pally once. I also don't do that one quest to find an npc by clicking on a thingy in the water near the troll area. I can kill him on my hunter, but omg, on my pally, he almost whirl winded me to death. That ability he almost uses continuously. I had to bubble & run. I did do the quests at Valley of the Watchers at Gunstan's Dig. They were a little difficult. The quests were yellow & that's always intimidating. The boss inside Uldum was pretty tough but I won. That quest glitched on me before too. I didn't pick up the follow up quest from the chest before I engaged the boss, and afterwards it disappeared, & I could no longer get it. So now I make sure to pick it up quickly while the boss is getting the first punch in.
50 & off to Felwood. I dinged 51 before I got to emerald Sanctuary as 3 rares were up, the ones right off the road. Ohters I know about are too difficult to get to, so hopefully they will be up when I quest in their domains.

Level 57 Wintersprings
Nerves shot & Wintersprings done. "The Arcane Sotrm Within" and "Umbranse's Deliverance" were almost the death of me. Going in the cave, I could handle one mob and two mobs to close the portals. Was worried about the 3 mob portal that had to be done in order to proceed through the cave. As well I should have been. I guess the last 2 times I came through, someone had cleared already, so I didn't have to tackle the 3 mob portal. The slime. I cc'd one. It broke, or least didn't last. I made sure to have touch of death off cd cuz I knew this fight would be difficult. I killed the one with touch of death, but because I had 2 beating me, my hp was going down fast. Then the cc broke and paralysis was still on cd, so again, I had 2 mobs beating me. I ran. Thank goodness they had a close reset range. When they reset, they still stayed as 2. So I healed up, cc'd one & killed the other. After the one was dead, the first one I had killed spawned again. So I kept my cc up & killed it. Healed up, and then killed the last one. Now shaking, I moved farther into the cave. Nooooo!!!! Ravagers!!! There's 3 of them. I cant do this again. Still shaken up from my near death experience. Nooo!!!! Contemplated hearthing out & calling it quits. Arrrrggggg. So close. Contemplated hanging around until someone else shows up to clear the way. Hmmmm. Zone is so barren I could be dead of old age before that happens. Decided I couldn't give up. There just might be a way to get through. Brain storm. I will cc the closest one to me, and maybe I can sneak through the other 2. Didn't work. 2 mobs chasing me. Running for my life. Shadowmeld. Boom. Out of combat, yippy!! And the boss was one tough cookie too. Had to use paralysis after every one or 2 hits to heal up. Sigh, monk is so not fun now. Things hit way harder, dps is down, and self-heals are way too low. Now I remember why my first monk almost never got leveled beyond 61. This too shall pass. One day she will be 64 with descent heals. One day she will be op at 89, so I'm told.
Quests: 728/3000 Kills: 2861

I'm so glad you survived that! It sounds very scary. I remember (*shudder*) those last few levels before getting the Healing Spheres. Even small fights felt like major battles. Hang in there - you'll be there soon!

Level 59 Blasted Lands
Usually when I get here, I only need to do a few quest and then I ding 60. Flying & level 60 weapon make this zone so much easier and safer. Not sure what happened, but I was only about 59-1/2. Sigh. So I headed back to Wintersprings to start the cub daily. Found a few rares while I was at it. Then I headed to Azure Watch to start the Easter dailies. It worked. A few quests into Blasted Lands and I dinged 60, trained flying & got my weapon. Oh wow, these mobs are hitting hard. And no rest xp, and I need a mental rest, especially after that cave in Wintersprings. So, new plan. I will continue doing cub/holiday dailies while I wait for a little rest.

Level 60 Blasted Lands
Picked up my level 60 weapon in hfp and trained flying. Really doesn't seem to help. I feel like i'm tickling these mobs instead of beating them. CC & touch of death are amazing, and interestingly enough, most mobs are not immuned. Thee was a rare in Felwood that was immuned. Think I was in Shatter Scare Vale, the area where so many 90's camp that battle pet. He was an elemental type one. Great caution here. Every fight is calculated. Pats, & runners, & casters, & everything else. Even pvp people waiting to smack you. I didn't do that last one from the cave quest giver. The one he knocks you off the top of a very high peak. Did it before on a hunter, & never again. Too high a potential to die. I never looked up the quest to learn what's up with it, but didn't need to as I never plan on doing it again. Dinged 61 with only Surwich left. Decided to go to Silithus first as Surwich is the area that actually made me quit monk before. It's really a bad area for a monk.
Level 61 Silithus
Twilight people hit very hard. Everything does. So even though it's considered a lower zone than Blasted Lands, I think it's harder, but maybe not as bad as Surwich.
"Vyral the Vile", the twilight boss in the cave. Oh, wow, that cave is nasty. Probably the riskiest & scariest thing in all of Azeroth. I was fighting a tauren, he put down a totem, so as I usually do, I auto attacked the totem so as not to waste my precious energy or mana or whatever. Omg, it's not going down, it's like I cant target it. Ohhhh, nooooo, it's not a totem, it's a gnome!!! Quickly, assess the situation, keep your head, you can do this. Ok, cc gnome, back up a bit, dps cow. Baby heal to keep me alive, woot, touch of death off cd, smack that cow. Reapply cc & bandage. Ok, I did it. Was close, but I won. Now boss. Oh no again, a rare is standing (floating actually) right next to boss. The boss has a side kick. What to do, what to do. Pull side kick, maybe boss & rare wont join. No such luck, well part luck. Boss is coming too, but at least rare isn't. CC side kick, yes, boss's hp isn't any higher & he's no tougher. Ok, those 2 are down, now what to do with this rare. Oh, his hp isn't much higher, I'm sure I can take him with touch of death off cd. Ok, pull rare, I can do this. Ohhhhh, noooo the gnome totem is back. CC rare, touch of death gnome, heal up, hope rare is easy. Yippy, he goes down. Ok, I've had enough of this cave, hearthing out. Too bad hearth is in SW.
Ok, I think I'm going to be sick. Those 3 running scouts, think they're horde, they look like they're riding zebras. I did learn that even though they're red, they don't attack. I was fighting a crusher when they stormed past me. Gave me a fright. But I remembered my knowledge that I was so proud to have learned, they don't attack. That is unless you use expel harm to heal just as they ride over you. Oh, noooo. run Forest, run. Brain is now too stressed to think. Roll, roll X2. I'm still being beat. Not sure where it's safe to run. Run, run, run. Oh, wait, stop, turn around, cc crusher, run, run, run. Hp going down. Would be humiliating to die this way. Run, run, run. Wow, close, they reset. I lived. Barely.
Scorpion boss. Kept him cc'd while bandage were on cd. Took 4 bandages to down him, but having done him before, I knew what to expect so even though he is a pain, I rate him as easy. He has a nasty knock back, so I just put my back up against the wall. Hmmm, not sure how priest would fair with him seeing she doesn't have any cc.
Into The Maw of Madness. I can't kill Natalia. I know I can't kill her. Only a hunter can kill her. She has endless mana & endless heals. But I can cc her to get the scraping for another quest. Lucky for me someone had cleared all the way to her.
Just the brain & lost letter. Pally had killed over 30 bugs and the letter still hadn't dropped. I hope it drops, but if it doesn't, I will move on without stressing it. I did it. About 25 bugs & the letter dropped. Dinged 62 after handing in all quests. OMW to Surwich.
62 Blasted Lands, Surwich

New Journey Made nelf monk. My goal is to get a little higher in each zone than I had been in the past, so instead of sneaking by mobs that are in my way, I plan on killing my way through. Quested in nelf zone up until the quest with the elementals & collecting seeds. Then went to the draen zone to get the moongrze recipe as it sells for an ungodly amount. I hate being poor. Then went to human start zone, mostly for rep, although they do give a little xp. Elwynn Forest: Terrified of the murlocs as I don't yet have anything to pull with. But at level 11, I can take on 2 at a time. Did the ring quest at level 12 & after I bought the level 5 upgrade gear. Was surprised how ez it was considering back in MOP, i wasn't able to do it safely, and one time ran away screaming like a little girl when I realized I couldn't take on the 3. Killed Hogger at level 12 without issue. So pretty much can do the entire zone. Westfall: Just did the first quest for ez xp & the fp. Loch Modan: Level 13-21 Rares: Passed on Ogre & Spider. Would have also passed on the gnoll, or whatever it is as he has killed me in the past. Killed Nixx, the fox, gator, mechanical chicken without problems. The human boss gave me a little scare, but wasn't too bad. Gor'Kresh, the ogre boss was a close call at 20. I wasnt sure I was going to make it. Would like to be 21 next time I come up again, but not sure how I can do that. Maybe buy upgrade gear. Most of my gear is the level 5 stuff, and there is level 12 stuff I can buy at the inn. Redridge: Level 21-22 Went to Redridge for ez xp. I didn't use to do the very beginning part at Three Corners, but I have since learned a quest reward is an 8s bag, so now I do it. The extra xp will also help me prepare for some Wetland questing. Wow, Ettin's orb failed 3 times. I had to smeld to survive. I stopped Redridge at Keenan's This Ain't My War. Bought level 22 gear. Wetlands: Level 22-27 Wow, 5 levels. I completed the first quest hub at the entrance from loch called Slabchisel's Survey. I did most of the 2nd quest hub, Menethil Harbor. The 3rd quest hub, Whelgar's Retreat, up to the boss that has 2 sidekicks. The problem with her is all are shooters, ouch. I've even had trouble on hunter, so I don't do her. The 4th hub, Greenwarden's Grove, I stopped at the fire elementals. Not because I couldn't do them, but level 27 should be plenty high enough to make Duskwood relatively easy. The only rare I encountered was the spider in the cave at the beginning. Everything was pretty simple. I just went slowly & cautiously. Duskwood: Level 27-30 Was nice getting here at 27. Rotting Orchard was still scary. A stealthed mob did show up while I was fighting, but I saved touch of death for just such thing. I didn't do Patches or Mor'Ladim, but I a feeling Mor'Ldim would have been doable & Patches too. But no point in risking it. North Strangelthron: 30-34 Rebel Camp: Did the Kurzen cave. Boy my nerves are shot. Although it was easy, it's still very easy to die there. One mistake and I'm toast. The stealthed rouges really hit hard & will run given the chance. I so wish monk had a slow. That cave is almost enough to make one quit imc. I elected not to do the last tiger boss quest. He's very dangerous with adds, and pats, and whatever else could possibly go wrong. Wow, ogre boss in the cave hits harder than I remember. No worries, I won. Didn't wait for pats which was a mistake. One showed up b4 I had a chance to heal up, but luckily just as I killed the other. Purchased weapon & gear upgrade b4 heading off to the troll camp. The rare was there with Braddok. Not good. He stands next to a sleeping troll, so to get him is to get and add. I cleared the path up to Braddok. The casters were pulled by taunting them & then running away until they followed me enough to be cleared of other mobs. I wasn't sure if it'd work with Braddok, but it did. I had needed to get him away from the rare. Saved my hearth for here so that I could make a hasty retreat. I can breath a sigh of relief as the worst is over, at least for awhile. The Cape of Stranglethorn: 34-35 Some rares are just not to be messed with, and I consider Verifonix, the goblin one of those. He was there, taunting me, but I've run into him before and know his tactics, so I ignored him. Through the Troll Hole, that bloody dangerous quest was quickly abandoned. I have died once to it, and I know of a good many souls who have as well. The problem with the quest chain is only one person can grab the rope to get out. All others will be instantly killed. The other problem is the bosses can glitch out, making then hard or impossible for an iron to kill. Booty Bay: 35-37 Boss mobs hit pretty hard. Most brought my hp down to less than 1/2. Had to make sure tod wasnt on cd, so I could kill them quickly. Almost lost it on the ninja's when a panther showed up, but I kept tod especially for such of emergency. Next time around, I need to hunt out the panthers so that doesnt happen again. Didnt Bubble Rum as I didn't want to phase. I have heard of imc successfully doing it, but I have also heard of them failing. No point in risky anything since my level is good for where I'm heading. Got the fp for Dustwallow as that's the connecting fp I need to return to EK. Desolace 37-38 Took the long way around Stonetalon to avoid Horde camps & getting flagged pvp. Picked up the bread crumb quest to Desolace at Farwatcher's Glen. It gave 370 xp, but hey, it was free xp. Picked up the fp at Nijel's Point & did the couple go to quests before heading out to Cenarion Refuge. I really debated doing Break Out. 3 mob quest isn't easy on Monk. I pulled the far left mob, giving me time to beat him b4 the other 2 showed up. I took a lot of damage. Hindsight, I probably should have pulled the named mob & tod him so that I wasn't having all 3 hit me at the same time. I only did it as I was fairly certain my other Monks had completed it. I think my pally had too. Ouch, those demon portal spawn brought me down to 1/2 hp, so now i'm using tod on them. 1 1/2 min. cd feels like a lifetime. Wouldnt u know there was a rare guarding one of the safer portals. I don't do the quest from the drop, Infernal Power Core. I just remember something is bad with that quest, but I dont remember what. The 2 quests in Mannoroc Coven can be skipped without worry, so not sure why I bothered with them, especially those portal demons who continued to bring me down 1/2 hp even using tod on them. I probably should leave here & just move on to Feralas. A lot less can go wrong there. But I'm really trying to get to 50 b4 i hit Tanaris. On past irons, I just farmed the 4 rares in Feralas until I was at a level I wanted to be. I elected not to do the quests at Maraudo. I'm tired of this zone, and just want to move on. Feralas: 38- Quested a bit & farmed rares. Got to 41, but not yet done. Decided to go to Dustwallow & come back later to finish the last quest hub. Dustwallow: 41-44 Think I only got to 44 because I must have killed every rare in the zone! Got paralysis just b4 I did the Deserters quest. It helped inside the tower or I might have fought 3 mobs at a time. Saved tod for an emergency, but I didnt need it. The trick is to pull mobs to you & use your hit hard when the hp is less than 400, at which time they will run. I used the same technique for the murlocs. For those, I waited for re-spawns so I didn't have to attempt the hunter murlocs & their pet. They won't pull, making it very dangerous to go after them. Now back to Feralas. Feralas: 44-45 I didn't have to split Feralas, but I was afraid I'd out level the beginning quests in Dustwallow. Got 2 of my 4 rares when I first got here. Turned in Taerar's Fall, but declined Ysondre's Farewell. The quest has glitched on my b4 where the npc who was suppose to heal me didn't. After that time, I quit doing it as it isnt worth the risk. Needles: 45-47 Didn't do the Grimmtotem elite bosses. I did do the first boss which is non-elite. I also completed the other quest that the npc follower gives. Then I hearthed out. Sad because the rest of the quest in this zone are ironman safe, but just can't get to them. Tanaris: 47-48 Saddens me to say I passed on Rocket Rescue. That quest is the one u fly around on a blimp. The quest is known to glitch, and will drop an unsuspecting imc to his death without a parachute. It doesn't happen every time, but would sure be sad to lose a toon at 47 to a known glitch. By not doing this quest, about 1/2 of Tanaris is unavailable. There's a quest called "I'm With Scorpid" that has u kill scorpions. There are 2 types, one with 2 babies & one solo. keep v key on so u can see which has 2 babies. The white/pink type is solo, and the yellow/green type has babies. DON'T DO "Secrets in the Oasis" The sucker does a ww move that hurts enough to make a grown man cry. A hunter can do it. Just keep pet healed. mdps & those hitting like wet noodles can't do it. I did manage to get a rare while someone looked to be camping it, but was afk. I hear there's a lot of rares here, but I'm not familiar with them, so idk where they are at. I do know the rare by Caverns is a bugger. Tried & failed on my pally. Sadly I didn't get to leveled because of the blimp quest, so I'm off to Felwood. Wait, spoke to soon. There is a quest hub I forgot about. In the south, Valley of the Watchers. Hmmm, on second thought, the golems are level 48, which I am, and are hitting me pretty hard. I seem to recall the boss inside is pretty tough. I can't remember what my prior monks did, which is why I'm continuing on in my travels now. I think I will come back to them. Felwood: 48-At 48, Felwood mobs are hitting pretty hard. Might have to research what other options there r. Oh, I forgot about Badlands. It's been way too long since I've been iron, it seems like I forgot some things. Luckily I looked no farther than above & found it. Badlands: 48-49 Picked up "The Battle Fore Andorhal" at BB which will port me to wpl to get to Light Hope that has a rocket trip to Badlands all the while getting discovery xp Don't phase the zone at Dragon's Mouth. It's a imc killer. Stopped with the Deathwing quest line. There's a few go to quests that's ok to do. Felwood: 49-53 My hopes of being here alone in the morning are shattered. I have one quester in front of me and one behind me. But I have still managed to get 4 rares so far. Those Jadefire mobs with bears tried to come after me. I actually had to run away to reset them, and cc doesnt work cuz the bear will break it. But I did finally learn a trick. Instead of running up to the Jadefire & begin battle, I pulled him to me. This prevented another one or two or three from eventually joining in. Killed the rare, Immolous (sp) at level 51. Boy he was tough. He brought my hp down to 1/4 b4 tod started flashing. I didn't try to use paralysis, so I'm not sure if he's immune. Feeling really lucky; must have killed 9 or more rares. Definitely pays to go in the mornings. Oops, for got to go back to Tanaris. Also picked up 30 rune cloth for the Wintersprings cave quest. Tanaris: 53-53 Dang, should have come here after Badlands, but I forgot. Oh well, live & learn. Well worth it to go back. I got a lot of xp for just a few quests. Not count the kill xp, i got 47,750 xp. So, yeah, glad I came back. (Do Swamp of Sorrows first)Wintersprings: 53-58 Got here at 53, but had it not been for all the rares I had found, I probably would have only been 52. Farmed when I got here to increase levels. I was also lucky to get here in am to get the rares. Did the pet daily X2 and farmed 3 more rares. I didn't do Umbranse as I was too afraid to clear to the boss in the cave. I still have it in my quest logs to keep an eye on it's xp. Maybe come back when I'm 60 if the xp is worth it. Those owls hit hard, those ice giants have a nasty knock back. One knocked me in the air & back, and I had a chance to heal b4 he caught up with me. But turns out one more whack & he was dead, so I didn't really need to heal up. Same with the owls, although they hit hard, I didn't have to heal. Un'Goro: 58-59 Didn't find any rares. I was lucky I could finish the zone without anyone having started the elite dino run. I did pass on that quest. I also didn't do the bouquet quest. Didn't think I could handle fighting 5 pedals and I didn't want to do the last quest that would flag me. Swamp of Sorrows: 59-60 I never do this quest, but I didn't want to go to Blasted Lands or Silithus without being able to fly. Not sure how much I want to do in SoS now that I can fly. I didn't do the quests near the alter, although I did do the quest to pick up the things in the water surrounding the alter, as I was advised not to do it. I think next time I will come here before Winterspings. Blasted Lands: 60-60 xp is horrible on mob kills. Even killing a rare gave only 199 xp. But I suppose the closer I am to 62 b4 getting to Outlands the better. I went out and got some xp exploring. Didn't give me much, but I guess every little bit helps. I was a little worried about The Altar of Storms, but I needn't have. Mobs went down quickly & I lost no hp. I didn't do You Are Rakh'likh, Deomon because in the past it almost killed me by knocking me off the cliff. I also seem to remember fighting a lot of mobs. So, didn't do it. Surwich is a little scary. Once on my pally, someone road through the mobs, and instead of resetting, they proceeded to beat me & I almost died. But the zone seems barren, so I'm not foreseeing any problems, just alert. Finished all of Surwich. Boy those bears hit hard. Very disappointed to see I still have 5 3/4 bars left to 61. Silithus: 60- Plans changed

OUTLANDS HFP: 60- I decided to come to Outlands. Not sure how wise that is, but we'll see. The first thing I did was to discover all areas in HFP, buy my weapon upgrade, an increase of 3.3 dps, and do A'dal's quest line. When that didn't ding me to 61, i discovered a little in Terokkar. I then went to the mining cave outside of Honor Hold. I was able to kill the 59 Gan'arg without issue. But the 61 Maiden of Pain gave me trouble. I actually had to cc her to heal up. So, hmmmm. Off to find mobs I can kill easily, preferably those that don't run & bring back friends. I guess the xp nerf included the mobs in level appropriate zones as level 58 & 59 mobs are giving considerably less xp. So unless I grind mobs my level, 62 aint gonna happen in HFP by grinding. XP/hour: Level 58 Helboar: 92 Level 59 Bonestripper Buzzard: 100 Leve 60 Gan'arg: 325 Level 61 Maiden of Pain: 350
