Big congrats to Curlsnout, despite his "Mark of Exile" (so, he put on his safari hat..) anyway, still a congrats from someone who can't sneak past 20 levels without a choking fear of dying...

I am an ugly wolf-woman rogue with a perpetual snarl on my face and fur in my ears...I wear ratty leather armor and a bloodspattered cloak.. nobody helps me and I don't help them. Wide circle around and odd slanted looks are what is given and returned...

Life is too short (especially for my Ironmen) to take things too seriously..I stay in the game because I never rush through it, I read quest text( *gasp*) and try to learn lore..I have done some different stuff on my main ("Well Read", Liminologist (this should be a title, I think) ).. I want to raid but am sort of an uncoordinated dolt who has a bit of trouble with left vs right and eye to hand thing (JUST MASH ALL BUTTONS! "what rotation?" ) My raider son will often roll his eyes at what I do ("What are you doing NOW? How come you are dead?") but I am persistent, and love the game. Sometimes I wish I could play my main better to be a progressive raider (I love competition) but I don't always have time to so things like LFR and such are a joy to me..If you look at the game like it is work or a chore, then it IS WORK and a CHORE, and who likes doing that stuff...ugh, I'll go do housework, it might be funner...Don't quit, or give up, just go do something else, like zen meditation or golf (kinda the same thing).. or take some time to go fishing (ol Crafty is just waiting for you), or pet battle, or just check out the scenery (I spent a night on my celestial thunder serpent, just checking out all those spires in Jade Forest, there are some interesting things on top of 'em..)
Never give up, never surrender...but HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!

One year of Iron and what I've learned...
1. Death is final. It hurts.
2. I suck as a player, but I am better now. LOTS better.
3. Goblins like too much bling...they make poor ironmen (they are HARD to get out of the starting area..the pygmy witch doctors did me in after they finally nerfed the Robot Chicken...)
4.To appreciate a grey cloak and a set of grey shoulders...
I have had infinite amount of iron toons, from the first Rustyirons (many) to the steeldusts, and now to the NoHopes (when I did make these I was sad, angry and figured I'd be giving up soon)..my first Rusty was a BE warlock who made it to 16 before expiring from trolls in Ghosytlands...I grew fond of the worgen and their starting area, so I stuck with one for the longest time, which is what I have now. On the horde side I can breeze a Tauren through the starting area, but it does bore me to tears, so that is why I chose a worgen, something different and Alliance. I have NEVER leveled an alli, so it is a learning process the whole way...my main has definatelky benefitted from my ironman training...

For those of us who are age/coordination challenged ("egads! press one one one, ack I'm hitting the '~' key...evasion, where is evasion..darkflight..yikes...JUST PRESS THEM ALL...!!!) this is my list: warrior: extremely difficult, Monk :hard, priest: hard, warlock: kinda hard, paladin: very hard, druid: hard, shaman: o so hard, mage: hard, rogue: hard, hunter: not easy. If you are a Kripp or a Lyssan, maybe it is different, but those I will never be. hey I even killed off a DK in the starting area the other day, even though I have leveled three or four through it.....

Not sure of the mentality..My main is on a medium server Ravenholdt, and unless someone is real id buddying, I've never seen CRZ peeps anywhere. When I desperately needed a dwarf female to complete Noblegarden..there were zero to be found, and no CRZ people about to fill the gap. So I made and leveled one, and still, in the starting areas, no CRZ. Plenty of eggs in both Razor Hill and Kharanos, absolutely no competition. So why did they take a nice high server like Wyrmrest and combine it with a full server like Moonguard? The idea is right, but it should be more for low low servers like Onyxia and Rivendare (I have toons on both for the peace n quiet) ...or level on a medium server (I can't suggest Ravenholdt it is RP-PVP) or maybe level up Horde instead of alliance and avoid Goldshire altogether....
