**Yesterday I regained consciousness, finally, weeks after the crashing of my beloved Exodar. Half remembered dreams lingered, I was a shaman and a healer in those dreams, fighting on the back of a large evil dragon. But that was only a dream, really I am a hunter, an inexperienced one at that.
Megalon greeted me warmly when I came to---apparently many were lost in the crash, and those of us left must find our way on a strange planet called Azeroth, with the most peculiar looking sentient beings imaginable. Somehow it is my job to lead our efforts at survival in Ammen Vale--why me, when so many others pulled through first? Anyway, off I went to collect vials of moth blood, use my Gift of the Naaru to save my comrades, and destroy the encampment of Blood Elves to the south. I killed more of them than necessary, for their coppers.
I was busy doing a few errands like this for my friends at the crash site, when Zhanaa made contact with another group of us, a larger group to the west with several pieces of the broken Exodar. So I was sent to Azure Watch to lend a hand there. Here they are rebuilding, and making friends with "The Alliance" -- apparently we have taken sides in a local feud Anyway, I am now busy helping both my people at Azure Watch and a group of humans on the coast.
When I regained consciousness yesterday, I found I was flat broke! Unable even to buy a loaf of bread. Fortunately, that is no longer true. One of my rewards for helping Acteon was a recipe to cook the meat of the local stags. As I have no time for cooking, I sold it to the highest bidder, and now I have 19 gold. Perhaps I could have gotten more, but my needs are few...a couple bags will be welcome though. I am hoping that the Small Eggs I acquired from the birds will also sell.
I have a pet who helps me, or I would have died several times. But my pet is a mere moth, the most delicate looking creature. I can only imagine that the sole reason I have a moth for a hunter's pet is that Ammen Vale is full of them, and no other animals. She is more sturdy than she looks, and effective enough, but still....there are fierce looking cats here on the bigger island -- Azure Myst it is called. I would prefer a cat by my side I believe. Hopefully I will have the time and strength to train one.
Well, it's back to work for me! I have a few more errands to do before I sleep.**
