Well after a quick redo(damn that "Collector" and his two friends!) I am happy to report that Ironmikey is still kicking at level 17. Managed to help all that needed aid in Elwynn Forest(had a close call with some crazy respawning murlocs) and have also witnessed the rebirth of the Defias Brotherhood in Westfall(thank god the Kearnen guy is a crack shot!). Now I'm off to Redridge to see what the trouble is, but not before I get some rest. Back to fighting the good fight tomorrow!

Well Ironmikey has made it to lvl 30!
Have to say I feel good about moving on from Redridge(especially after reading about all the deaths that have occurred there!). Haven't had many close calls recently.
Only close one was involving Murlocs(SURPRISE!). Was Helping out the fine citizens of Menethil Harbor(no way I could live there now-those people are crazy!) and one of them asked me to find some statue they had lost and they suspected the Murlocs had taken it. And they figured while I was out there, I could thin out the Murloc population as well. So I make my way to their hangout, and send in Thangak(my trusty blueberr...I mean voidwalker; he hates it when I call him that) to start the thinning process. Well Thangak gets a little overzealous in his duties and pulls a couple extra mgrl-mgrls; no biggie. This is until I happen to notice to my left that a couple of murlocs had decided to turn the shallows into their own personal race track! My first reaction was to fight, but quickly realized that would not end well(Thangak was about to lose his battle), so I said Adios to 'ole Blue and made like Monty Python and ran away! One Howl of Terror later and I was safe.
Since then, been pretty smooth sailing(Thangak seems to have learned his lesson as well). Was able to aid the rest of the soggy citizens of the Wetlands without incident, then moved on to see what the trouble was in Duskwood. Turns out it was mostly Worgens.
Now my quandry: do I move on to Arathi(the brave defender of Thandol Span would like me to warn Refugee Point of the looming threat of the Twilight Hammer cultists), or do I heed the call of my king and attend to matters in Stranglethorn Vale? We'll see.....

(Reported by Headdie)
Sad to report that Ironmikey's body was found in a cave in Northern STV. The savage inhabitants of the cave had stripped him naked and taken all his gold. Only evidence of what happened was this message that he apparently wrote with his own blood: "DAMN RESPAWNS!"
In true Warlock fashion, Ironmikey did manage to save his soul in a Soulstone. I shall take it to Northshire so he can find a new body to inhabit.
IRONMIKEY SHALL BE REBORN!!!

First off: A GNOME!?! Really? Thanks Headdie. If you were gonna go visit relatives, the LEAST you coulda done was drop my Soulstone off at Northshire on the way. Well guess I'm stuck now. It's just........so small. Don't know how you live in one of these. Anyway.......
There's some crazy stuff goin on there in Gnomeregan. Gnomes with their tinkering....not surprised most of your city is irradiated. Mekkatorque seems like a nice guy though. A little obsessed, maybe, but hey everyone's got their flaws.
Well I decided to help the gnomes out for a bit, after all. First I helped save some of the injured. Apparently this body had been down there a while, cause soon they were sending me to the surface to get out of the radiation! the decontaminating process was fun...if you like getting electrocuted. OUCH!!
When I got to the surface, i met Mekkatorque. he explained to me the situation. I stuck around to help him out. I gathered some springs and artifacts to help with some blob problem. I lead another one of their "machines" to some toxic geysers so it could plug 'em up. Went and blew up some of the enemy tanks(sure felt fun, must be some gnome instinct or something). Even tarred some enemy location drones or something like that.
Finally Mekkatorque decided the time was right for an assault on Thermaplugg's cronie on the surface, Crushcog. They gave me this controller thing and told me to use it on Crushcog. Said it controlled some satellite ray or somethin'.....whatever it was it sure did a number on that Crushcog guy!
At this point, with everything under control it seemed, I was ready to move on. NO WAY was I going back into Gnomeregan.....my growth's already stunted enough as it is. I had helped out some dwarves with a Trogg problem, so I figured I'd go see if they needed any help. I made my way to Kharanos, where I helped them fight off some trolls and wendigos. As I moved down the road, turns out they too were having some troll problems. I helped them blow up a troll village. I helped them recover some lost rams. Even earned a little of their respect by taking out some giant wendigo that was terrorizing their stable. Then I got to Gol'Bor quarry.............
.....MORE TROGGS! Man these things are almost as bad as Murlocs! but that was another life....
After helping rescue some trapped miners(and some Dwarven artifacts) I decided to take a flight to Ironforge and get some rest. Man this place is awesome! gotta hand it to these Dwarves. Despite their smaller stature, they sure know to do it big! I mean, building your city INTO the side of a mountain? Crazy! Might have to try out one of these Dwarves some day.....
I've decided that this is definitely gonna be my new home. I've taken up residence at the local inn for now. We'll have to check out more of the city, see if I can't find myself something a little more permanent. But at this point I'm on my third jug o' bourbon, and I'm not heading anywhere but to bed. Man you gnomes can't handle your liquor...gonna have to toughen this guy up a bit! I'll keep you posted on my progress, after I sleep off this inevitable hangover.

To Ironaria, Janileth, and Zheleznyi(wow, that's a mouthful!):
Nice to hear from you. Glad to see you're still fightin' the good fight.
Ironaria and Janileth, you have become so wise! Wouldn't mind getting some personal lessons from you both; but alas you fight for the Horde. I'd probably get butchered just for trying to pay a visit and say hi! Hopefully one day our two sides can find some common ground. Gotta say though, all this warring sure is providing a young lock like myself plenty of opportunity to earn some coin. A gnome's gotta eat, right?.......well unless that gnome happens to be warlock(hee hee)!
Z, thank you for you enlightening story. It gave me a lot to think about. have to meet this Velen guy someday.......
Well having gotten a good nights' rest, it's now time for me to head out and see what today has to offer. Gotta remember to find a trainer here in Ironforge first though, to get my new blueberry....hopefully this one learns as quick as Thangak.

Well I found myself a nice place In Ironforge, a two floor home in the Mystic Ward. Not too bad, although I might have a little of a rat problem. But hey, at least the rent's cheap!
After settling into my new digs, I went and picked up my new blueberry, Zhar'kath(great, a blueberry that thinks he's a troll) and headed out to find some work. I made my way to Loch Modan, where I found some Dwarves that were having Trogg problems. Seeing as how killing Troggs has quickly become one of my favorite things to do, I was more than happy to help out. After taking care of a few things for my new Dwarf employers, I decided to just have some fun killing more Troggs. Actually, I think I might have found myself I nice source of income; Trogg loin cloths seem to sell like hotcakes back at the Ironforge Auction, and this particular group of Troggs all seem to carry more than one! I Also found myself some new clothes out there, which is nice cause my old robe was getting kinda raggity.
Now back here in Ironforge. I decided to get myself a haircut with some of the extra coin I picked up. Needed to make this little body of mine look a little tougher. I gotta tell ya, Headdie was right. I'm starting to get quite comfortable as a gnome......
Well I'm gonna go lay down for a bit; the borboun's starting to catch up to me! Probably head out a little later for some more Trogg killing. Plus, I gotta remember to make a stop at Thelsamar. My employers asked me to deliver some news to the guy in charge over there. Maybe he'll have some use for 'ole Mikey here. Can always use the money!

Sorry it's been a while since my last correspondence. Those dwarves in Loch Modan have been keeping me busy! From troggs to kobolds to spiders, they've had me killing just about every kind of creature you can find there. Glad to do it too; the money they've paid me, along with the things I've "obtained" from the corpses, has allowed me to make quite a good living. This has come just in time, too. I've had to find myself a new place in IF.
I decided after killing my second rat, it was time to alert my landlord to the problem. So what does this dirty mage do in response? HE RAISES MY RENT! Well I wasn't about to pay more to live in a rat infested building, a warlock has got to have standards, you know. I told that mage where he could stick his rent and moved on. I knew it was a bad idea for a warlock to live in the Mystic ward....
I've found a nice place just off the Great Forge. It's slightly smaller, but at least there's no rats! The rent unfortunately is much higher, must have something to do with the location, I guess.
Had a close call with some Twilight Hammer cultists yesterday. Seems they had moved in on some of the new land exposed with the breaking of the dam here in the Loch, and a disheartened gnome asked me to destroy some device they had. They were using it to shape the land in their will, or something like that; kinda drifted off during the story. All i know is the gnome offered to pay me, so I was on my way. Well I make my way through their camp and reach the machine. I only see one guard, so I'm thinkin this is gonna be a piece of cake! I send in Zhar'kath to do what he does best, only to find out there were two other guards. Now this in and of itself would have been okay, but it turns out the machine had it's own built-in defense mechanism, and started firing at Zhar'kath and then me. Well I don't really feel like making another trip in a Soulstone quite yet, so i hightailed it out of there to regroup, barely escaping with my life. Luckily the second attempt went much smoother. When I returned to the gnome, my "heroic" act apparently inspired him to fulfill his destiny as a pilot(gnome pilots? CRAZY! How do they see over the controls?). I was just happy to receive my payment on continue on my way.
Unfortunately, the opportunities for work in Loch Modan seemed to have dried up(sorry about the pun, couldn't help myself). Looks as though I'm gonna have to move on; a gnome's gotta pay his rent, ya know. I'll have to stop by the Hero's Call board here in IF to see if any new job opportunities have been posted. First I'm gonna hit the inn and tip back a few. I feel I've earned myself a little downtime.
