As part of my challenge, I find it my duty to kill every Silver Rare mobs i come across.
While questing in Loch Modan I was able to find and kill 10 rares(nine unique; got Kubb twice) in one night!
Was wondering if anyone else has had such a success rate for one evening(or morning).

I admit, im scared to kill rares I only killed one rare giant once at mulgore, but he was mostly dead (he previously killed warrior player near me). I was close to entrance from cave and suddenly this fat guy appeared, i nearly unload my food from previous day

Just finished Loch Modan on my mage, came across quite a few there too. Seemed to one in each area i had a quest in. Only missed the rare eagle because i was busy with one of those cats that jump at you. By the time i had finished i couldn't find it again

Wow, I only found about 4 rares in Loch Modan. Also, if people didn't realize, one of the benefits of killing rares is a massive XP reward. For instance, in the cave near goldshire, I killed a rare spider. The normal ones were worth 90xp, the rare was 1300xp!

When I start my new warrior I think I may start keeping a list of all the rares she kills. I get giddy every time I see that silver dragon

There was an achievement for killing rares in BC/WotLK area's. Wonder if one got put in for EK/Kalimdor. Will have to go have a look through.

I came across three as I made my way through Silverpine Forest. The funny thing is, I haven't really aid attention to rare mobs on most of my other toons, but on my Ironman I don't seem to be able to pass one up. I guess the extra danger is just too much to resist

I think the most I have come across in one night is five (one of which seemed to enjoy me killing it so much it respawned twice in the space of a few hours ) Like others have said as well, I tend to have a pretty good memory of where a fair few of these little silver dragons are found... and do sometimes wander off the beaten path a bit to see if they have come out of hiding

;D Hahahahah O.o Rares? Silver dragon mark? Hide, stealth, avoid, run. Run fast. No way. I can't barely make it to level 10 and i'm supoosed to go after a rare? again...hahahahahaha
Maybe if they are well below my level but I haven't seen a level 2 rare yet..

I don't blame you rusty, or anyone else that see the silver dragon and use the "RUN!" strategy. It probably is the smart move. i just feel I need to put myself in danger to keep myself from getting complacent. I am easily distracted when it comes to this game and the extra sense of danger helps keep me alert

The planning required to clear the surrounding area to setup an escape route. The opener and the kite in some cases is hilarious. I cannot pass a silver dragon and let him be... he will die by the hands of my little Gabrigor - The excitement is so great I am doing this challenge on a PvP realm which adds to the thrill!
