Greetings from Azure Watch, where a young hunter has plenty to do. Thus, I am much stronger than I was when I recovered consciousness this morning, after the crash of the Exodar. There are too many tasks that must be accomplished quickly, no time to sit around recovering from the disaster.

I am so excited, I finally get to have a mount! Traveled all the way back to the Exodar to learn to ride and I bought a beautiful gray Elekk. She has a strong yet smooth stride, and a very comfortable seat on her back. I know we will have many fine adventures together.

Field report:
Spent a few days in Darkshire. The monster Stitches almost killed my beloved fox, but thanks to the Naaru and the Gift I inherited from them, we both survived. It took the combined efforts of all the townspeople, and the town was burning down around us as we all fought, but we prevailed against Stitches, and Darkshire still stands. In fact, it seemed the whole town was restored in the time it took for me to give my report to the magistrate. Amazing people in Darkshire.
After I finish up just a few more errands for these folks, I'm off to Stranglethorn Vale.

Journal:
It's been a busy few days since I came to Stranglethorn Vale. Hunting with Nessingwary Jr and friends, I learned a lot....not the least is, the newcomer does most of the actual hunting!! But they gave me lots of hints and rewards, and I slaughtered panthers and raptors and more. Got a new crossbow during this time, very exciting!
I just now came into Booty Bay, which promises to be a great deal of fun! In some ways, I wish I had learned to fish when I was younger....there is a fine little fishing ramp underneath the main boardwalk. But I was inspired by my vows, which require me to forgo fishing among many other things. Luckily....my vows do not require sobriety!! So I will spend a bit of time, and silver, at the local tavern, and perhaps will find something to purchase from the auction house as well. This one is special, as it serves even our "enemies" the Horde. There are only a few places on the planet where we are allowed to trade with the Horde. I do fancy a snake for a pet, which only the Horde have normally. Sadly, no snakes for sale today.
Walking past the various shops, the leather shop in particular catches my eye. Upstairs is a cow. Yep, a cow, and she is standing at the top of the stairs, looking down. Her name is Bossy, and she talks to me. A talking cow? Indeed. Now what would a talking cow have to say? She tells me she is trying to figure out how to get downstairs. Wondering whether perhaps I overindulged at the nearby inn, nevertheless I desire to help her out of her plight. I try to help her get her downstairs. I beckon her, I prod her, I poke her and I even tickle her, all to no avail. Still she stands at the top of the stairs, trying to figure out how to get down. If I were her, I'd also wish to get down the stairs and out of the leather shop. But there is nothing I can figure out to do that will help, so I continue on my way. I hope Bossy finds her way out of the leather shop before the owner makes a move on her.

Personal Journal:
The Order of the Iron Brethren grows larger and stronger; I am proud to be a member of such a group. Although there have been deaths, still our numbers increase. And each death has been in valorous combat, fighting for our cause. Even in death, those members are remembered and honored, for their deeds increased our Order's stature and respect on Azeroth and beyond.
I am concerned that some of our beloved members may have died during periods of foolhardy cockiness. Our individual longevity depends on caution and analysis, rather than the rash bravado of many others in our lands, who may have their lives returned to them by magical spirits. Having shunned the evil magic of permalife, we must also shun bravado.
And I need to remind myself of this same message, for at times I am tempted to take on bigger battles then I can assuredly accomplish. Or I forget to look around carefully, and only luck and the Gift of the Naaru save me. So, being tired at this moment, I will take myself and my plucky fox companion to the inn, and have a long rest. Tomorrow is another day. *********

***Journal excerpt***
Like Ironaria, I also am helping the Cenarian Circle, although I am in Desolace, at Karnum's Glade. I originally came to Desolace because my grandmother spent time here in her youth. She described a dry land, appropriately named, and hated it. Around Nigel's Point it's much as she described, and I helped rid the area of some of its Satyrs, still here after all this time.
But the cataclysm seems to have changed some things, as I saw when I came to this lovely oasis. Lush and green, and surrounded by desert, much like the oases in the Barrnes. Even the air is delightfully moist. It is run by a Tauren named Karnum Marshweaver, and the innkeeper is Dessina, a Nightelf. Horde and Alliance mix amicably together for the Cenarian cause, so I have met folks of races I never even heard of before! Shortly after I landed here, a delightful creature called a Blood Elf landed. She smiled at me as I stared, what a country bumpkin I am. My tasks so far have been simple, gather some herb, some blood samples from kodos, and plant some seeds. Oddly, there are also some lashers, much like on my home island.
I believe my grandmother would have loved this oasis, and I will rest here awhile and think of her. As I move along in my travels, I will seek out the Cenarians whenever I can, for their cause is to heal the land, and they recruit from both factions and all races.
