I woke up this morning after a good nights rest at the Stoutlager Inn. I strolled outside and stretched and yawned as I took in the bright blue sky that beckoned me to come outside. This is such a nice change from the cold snowy mountains of Dun Morogh. As my eyes adjusted to the warm hues of the morning a Dwarf on the adjacent hillside from the Inn caught my eye.
A strange moon glow came from above him and shown brightly just where he was standing. I ran up the hillside to greet him and noticed he had the name Elder Silvervein. After a short conversation with him, I paid him my respects and he tossed me a coin to keep with me as a token of our meeting. I flipped the coin in the air and caught it with the opposite hand. Today was going to be a good day.

Today was indeed a good day. I managed to kill some dastardly foes among the hills that were all wearing these silver crowns. I received this beautiful green robe from one and this long sleek looking staff from another. It looked so much better than what I was currently wearing and holding, but alas, this robe and old twisted staff are like my security blanket I had as a young gnome. I find strength and comfort from them both. So upon returning to the Inn for the night I promptly found the nearest fence who would buy these glorious new items from me. It was then that I found further comfort, from the gold now jingling in my pocket.

Well today has been the most challenging by far. I was sent into Ironwing Cavern and man those mechanical bots in there are pretty mean. I spied another one of those creatures with the silver crown and decided to take him down. It was a lot closer than I thought the fight was going to be but I came out victorious in the end. After I completed what I came in there to do, I went back to Bingles at Farstrider filled with all kids of confidence. It was then that I was told to go get Ol' Sooty!
I took off as fast as I could go and found his small cave rather quickly. Before I had a second thought I let some frostbolts fly! He came at me with all his rage so I quickly froze him in place with a fost nova. I ran away and then turned around slowly and there he was, looking me dead in the eye. I took aim and my fireball grew bigger and bigger till I let it fly hitting him square in the face and down he went! I let out a victory cry and ran into the cave to see what loot I could pillage from this meager cave. I came upon no gold, no chests or anything. Just 3 small bear cubs that I've just orphaned. I fled back to the Lodge where all I could do was stare from the railing and look out onto the Loch. I needed a break...

After finishing all the quests around the Lock I headed out to Westfall. What a mess that whole place is. It all went pretty fast for me though and after I was notified that I completed all the quests that Westfall had to offer I went back to Stormwind to deposit a few little items I wanted to hold onto. It was then I noticed that I had a little collection of these Elder's coins going. Next thing I knew I was on a boat heading for Darnassus.
Once there I was greeted by some very nice and very tall Elves. They directed me to some Hippogryphs that would take me to Moonglade. As I landed there I realized that this was a contested territory! As fast as I could I ran to the vendor that you would cash in these Elder's coins and picked up this snazzy little get-up. I quickly hearthed back to Ironforge and found the comfort of my fellow Gnomes and Dwarves who all welcomed me warmly back home.
Another successful day of living.

I've decided to take some pictures of my adventures as I make my way around Azeroth. My little tid-bits of adventure splashed with some nice little pics will hopefully add some spice to daily smorgasbord of quests and shenanigans. So after having some delightfully fun conversations with some of the Draenei around Stormwind, however difficult it was to translate at times, I found myself wanting to explore the islands around the Exodar. What a crazy place this is! The creatures, the flora, and what's with all the Bloodelves?! Anyhow.... here's a little pic of me safely at Blood Watch after I got a little sea sick on the boat ride from Stormwind. i1173.photobucket.com/albums/r587/Wizspindle/Wiz_1.jpg

After a morning that seemed to last forever with some quests that had me going to point A and killing X number of things then back to turn it in. Then going back out to point B killing X number of things and coming back, etc. etc... I decided to take a little break. I broke out my little journal as I had a snack and started looking over all I had done so far. Wow I had done over 250 quests! I then started to calculate some numbers about reputation and found that I was lacking in my standing with the people of Gilneas. It was then that Lennah, the resident Mage trainer at Bloodwatch, came over and chatted me up to see what I was up to. I was explaining to him my situation and he told me I should probably head over across the pond to Duskwood. Great, just what I wanted to do, get back on that creaky boat that takes forever to get to Stormwind. He then told me he could teach me a spell of Teleportation. That sounded right up my alley. He showed me a few things and I was off! I started to cast my spell and was surrounded by an aura of bright arcane magic when poof I was transported to the Mage tower in Stormwind. Once I gathered my thoughts on how awesome it was I noticed my whole body seemed to be on fire with invisible flames. I guess traveling through the nether at such a high rate of speed does have it's side effects. I took some deep breaths and composed myself as the feeling started to subside. I then made my way to the flight master and took a gryphon to Duskwood. Right when I got there I had people waving me over and offering me quests that needed to be done. After I had completed a couple quests, I was asked to kill the Insane Ghoul. I guess there was only one insane ghoul because that was actually his name. So off I went to burn up some undead. After a brief time of killing some skeletons and other undead I found him running around a little chapel in the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery. i1173.photobucket.com/albums/r587/Wizspindle/Wiz_2.jpgI let loose with a frostbolt and proceeded to lead him out and around the cemetery, never letting him get close enough to touch me. Once I got up above him on the hillside it was lights out for this insane ghoul. i1173.photobucket.com/albums/r587/Wizspindle/Wiz_3.jpgAfter that It didn't take much more and my calculations had put me over into now being Honored with the people of Gilneas. I braced myself once again as I began to teleport to The Exodar. I think I'm going to love this spell, just not the side effects.

<<< from beyond the grave I call>>>
Everything was going so well. My pride I think clouded me from my encounter with Razormaw. And now I lay cold and motionless atop a mountain far away from my homeland. Keep up the good fight brothers and sisters. Keep up the gooood fiiiiiiight...... -<fade out>-
