I just wanted to make note about what I am seeing Wyrmrest realm in regards to Ironman and the RPers that live on that server. Alot of the people I see running the Challenge are becoming a bit more disrespectful towards the RPers that are on that server. Which I find is having an impact towards others that are running the challenge on the server. Just wanted to point out that we are comming into their home sort of speak and this may start causing more problems along the line as the community grows.
Just wanted to maybe point out as well here that we need to find a way to coexist with the other players on this realm as well or we may be having to find a new main realm. Not sure what may be happening on other servers but this I have noticed is increasing more each day.
Good luck all and keep Alive!

Yes i was actually going to make a thread about this eventually. Please be respectful to RPers they are playing how they want to play, and if you RP some of them might like to listen to your tales of your adventures across azeroth . And if you are in the Veterans guild I really don't want you causing trouble, we don't need a negative image. So be good and stay alive ;D

WRA is my home realm. I have 5 85's there. WRA is a pretty cool "live and let live" community, leave the regular players alone and they will leave you alone.
Random RP happens. If you don't feel comfortable in participating in RP, just use "say" to explain that. If someone engages you in RP and you want to try it (or enjoy it) go for it in a respectful way. You do NOT have to RP to be on the server, but you must respect the server rules and inhabitants.
If you see a challenger disrespecting a regular WRA toon, please pst them to stop or report them yourself.

Yes I agree...It seems to be a very big issue at times in the /iron channel chat where others seem to get a kick out of it. I am not from the realm originally but I respect the RPers and the other players around me. I am hoping to one day become a part of the community myself. Just thought I would put something up as I feel it will give a bad name to those doing the ironman challenge in general.

If you don't want to get involved in any RP (I certainly don't), and you see people RPing, it's generally a safe bet to /hail them and move on. Don't dance naked in front of them and you won't bother them.

Not sure what you mean by this, but yes we are. We ironman challengers are guests on WRA, and need to respect the fact that WRA is a designated RP realm.

I've been seeing it going on in /iron as well, and after having to constantly remind people to be respectful to the RPers on the server for the past 3-4 days, I've started slowly disengaging myself from there (if only so I don't explode into bursts of angry tl;dr about being disrespectful.) tarek: Yes, we are serious. WrA takes its preservation of the RP atmosphere on their server very seriously and that needs to be respected. We are encroaching on THEIR HOME and WE are GUESTS there. Proper etiquette states that you do not go around being an ass and making a mess if you're a guest anywhere, and this is true for the online realm as well. If you don't like it, you are welcome to start your Ironman journey elsewhere.

RP realms have rules in the Terms of Service specifically against griefing RP and RPers. You can and will be reported for breaking them. Remember -- you agreed to abide by the ToS when you logged into the game.
