"6) No groups- no BG's, no instances, no raids, no quest groups. No guilds."
I'd say that this says it all, but since some are joining the guild that disbands every time it's about to reach level two I guess you're free to try it out (please record it and put it on youtube). This is a personal challenge rather than a competition and the exclamation mark over at the tracker is simply something you and only you'll have to live with.

Yes, these are the rules, but, let's stay on the dungeon question.
What can one gain by going in a dungeon alone? I mean, no party is a rule, then why preventing someone getting in a dungeon alone? Can someone gain any exp alone in a dungeon? No, unless someone can kill a -6 levels dungeon elite in white gear. And even if they could, that is IRONMAN! To kill elite alone in dungeon.
So, there are quests that want you to go inside a dungeon, and there is no thing I can think of someone could gain any advantage by going inside a dungeon if not in a party.
So, please rethink the dungeon/instance rule. First I want to finish the few quests that send you inside a dungeon, second, I want to try kill an elite -6 level to see where I stand.

Well, I remember original rules allowed you to go into dungeons that didn't give you exp. But since we now have lovely leaderboards, I can tell there's no way to track if you went into dungeon alone or with a group. So if you allow open passage to everyone, people might start cheat with friends, guildies, etc.

The rule has been clarified. You can go into a dungeon alone to complete a quest..eg "A Vision of the Past" in Deadmines. Just don't do anything else there..like kill a boss.
And this is how Ironman tracks instances. If you kill a boss it will register that you were there.
And why would you want to do that..you may be able to kill a mob in a dungeon with enough level advantage in whites. But a boss?? Alone??..You would be so much higher in level there would be no point to it at all.

This discussion has taken place several times now so at this point I'm not really sure I can pinpoint an exact point where it was clarified for you. I believe there's probably some stuff in the thread specifically dedicated to the tracking site.
The site looks at achievements/statistics on boss kills to deterime if the dungeon rule has been violated. Entering a dungeon to turn in a quest like the deadmines one mentioned above *will* show in the "number of 5 man dungeons entered" stat, but this isn't what's being looked at.
This also means that if you're hell bent on. Trying to take out an elite mob by yourself you could do that as well without effecting your character on the tracking sheet.
If you did somehow manage to take out a boss the yes, you would get flagged. There's really no way around this. That said, as has been stressed over and over, this is a personal challenge. If challenging yourself means trying your hand at low level instances then go for it. It will put a ! By your name, but it will also note why so if that's not a big deal to you no one is going to stop you. But if having that green checkmark is what's the most important to you, then I suggest sticking to the original ruleset.
