I have a question about a few of the rules.
No transfer of gear, items or money from any other character (yours or others)
Does this mean I cannot mail any of my items to another character, even when not collecting anything in return?
I have a character on Trollbane, level 14 Druid. I see that there are supposed to be multiple Ironman Challenger guilds, but I have not found one yet on the alliance server. Has one been created yet?
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean mailing from your challenger to another character? If so that's fine. Some people even have AH alts set up just for their challenger. That alt would only take mail from the challenge character. The rule just means you're not getting outside aid. Everything your challenger has must be earned by the that character. As for Trollbane, here's the link for the people on that server who have registered on the tracking site: wowironman.com/region/us/realm/TrollbaneLooks like three alliance and none of them guilded so I'm guessing there probably is no ironman guild. Maybe try and contact them and get one going if you want?

Awesome. I just wanted to double-check before sending items away.

Now I have a Red Linen Shirt equipped on my character. I got it from the quest "Fine Linen Goods" in Elwynn Forest. WoW Armory states that the item is collected from the profession "Tailoring" at skill 40. Will that get me disqualified for the Iron Man Challenge?

If you don't have tailoring, then no.

I don't. Just wanted to make sure that quest items are taken into account and people don't think I got it sent to me.

You can buy and wear from the AH all the neat clothes you want (I love the white woolen dress) if you have earned the cash on your Ironman character. Or if it is a quest drop like the red linen shirt...just be sure it has no illegal buffs on it. You can wear Capt Sanders shirt if you like his style. <laughs merrily>

No, I was saying that you *can* as long as that AH alt ONLY deals with gear/money for the challenge character. Whatever is being sold was generated by the challenge character therefore that character is entitled to the money. I don't personally do this because it just feels like more work to me, but there were a couple of people that felt using an AH alt was a quality of life improvement for their challenge character. I know there are a few people who feel it's against the spirit of the challenge rules (although not the letter), but it's one of those things that ultimately came down to being a personal call. If it works for you and you don't feel like it's violating the spirit of the challenge put before you, go for it.

I´m afraid I still don´t get it... Let me ask in another way: it can be tracked, from who my iron-char is getting mail? so how does this tracking-system "know" that the gold I receive is not "bad" gold (that is violating the rules)?
for me its less work. at the moment I sell all the stuff myself, so I have to go much more times to the city, because I don´t have enough space in my bags yet (level 15). so I would like to just send it to my bank-char, and continue playing :-) ,and after a while recive the money from the sold stuff.
and what you said about the spirit - if I think about it: it kind of *is* against the spirit. at least, I can understand if people feel that way. it is a sort of "luxury", somehow...

The tracking system is not looking at who you get mail from or how much money you have. It doesn't have access to that information in any meaningful way. Several of the challenge rules are enforced by the honour system only. At the end of the day challengers who cheat are only cheating themselves anyway.

Ah ok. I just wanted to make sure that I can not be accused for cheating, when I didn´t.
