well it shows that I've never had a melee into Outlands. Waited till 63 before trying the first quests there and I get killed by the first mob Sorry to hear that Xaya... |

This is not raging more like "Bugger"! My monk made it to leve 15, and was zapped by that blue fleshripper in Westfall. I hate those linear/phased starter zones, (have never made Worgen nor Goblin) so I have to pull together all my monking mojo before I'll roll a new monk. But I want to ...

Don't let a rare or named mob discourage you. Monk is a good iron class, I really like it

Oh No Dran. I was so looking forward to meeting Mizu. See you when you re-return from the Wandering Isle and so sorry about your encounter with the rare. I have renamed her Aonomizu and is now on my 4th try to get off the Wandering Isle.  She never gets past the forest of Staves. This time I'll figth mobs for a level or two more before I follow Master Shang Xi on his last journey. |

It's a wonderful storyline and I hope you make it again. I notice also that Xaya has gone again. I hope that our divine master does not frown upon our challenge and hope that she is back soon too. I do like the starting zone. Maybe it is time that I roll a younger brother to revisit it ? Best wishes to all of us on this path. It is certainly a test but still fun ?? |

As I level my main and play with pet battles on the side, my son, in between raiding and doing a few dailies, is playing a game called Path of Exile, sort of diablo like game, on Hardcore. I sit on a wall opposite him in another room, and every so often listen to his rage/cry/disbelief/howls as he dies and has to restart...."I know your pain, son." (or ha ha, thats for laughing at me for months...)  |

Yes I'm off the Wandering Isle again level 12 already and now at the list as Armory finally updated. And yes it's a beautiful place and a good storyline, quite emotionally draining. But the 7th time around it gets a bit tiring. I like to go wherever I want. And you have to do every quest in the right order ... I hope Aonomizu lives a bit longer than her bigger sister Mizu. Damn - Irongopher dead due to running on login from Felreaver into a Talonguard !! I think due to the level that I will keep her as a non-Ironman and generate a newie.
Lesson to self - log out in Inns rather than be subject to a surprise !!!
