This is the first known attempt at an FAQ for the Ironman Challenge. Click this link to take at look at the Forum thread: us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4062846258?page=1For now, I'm planning on maintaining the FAQ from the Blizzard General forum and leaving this link here so it is clear where the information resides. It also makes it a bit easier for me to manage the emerging volume of questions. What might happen is that the FAQ gets moved to here as this forum has a bit more formatting control that makes navigating the FAQ much easier. We shall see. Meanwhile, please feel free to take a look at the Blizzard General forum thread and post your replies.

Looks like a very thorough FAQ, well done. One thing I didn't quite find was the question of class specific buffs (Fort, MotW, blessings, etc.), which I see often enough to include. Also, I wrote up a very short FAQ for Casa's list site, which could probably be edited and added to as needed: There's a red X next to my name, but I didn't die! Fix it!When your character dies, the name is moved to the Honored Dead section. The red X means that somewhere along the way you broke a rule somehow. The site tracks your statistics and achievements along with your gear to ensure that those who are following the rules get credit for doing so. Then why do characters in the Honored Dead have a green checkmark? They died, and that's against the rules! While yes, not dying is the ultimate rule, this is not how we chose to track the dead. This is how it works: 1) No Death + No other rules violated = Current standings list + Green Checkmark 2) No Death + One or more rules broken = Current standings list + Red X 3) Death + No other rules violated = Honoured Dead + Green Checkmark 4) Death + One or more rules violated = Honoured Dead list + Red X Ok, well, what specific rules does the site track? It checks to make sure that each character has the following: 1) Only White or Grey gear. No Heirlooms of any kind. 2) No gear enhancements, including gems, enchanting, and reforging. Class abilities are allowed (eg. Rogue poisons, Shaman imbues). 3) No specialization, talent points, or glyphs. No pet talent points. 4) No professions or secondary skills, except for First Aid. 5) No potions, flasks, or elixirs except for required quest items. 6) No dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, or arenas. 7) No guilds, except for level 1 guilds created specifically for the Ironman Challenge.

Wow, I feel like I have a stalker. Great job though, I'll add that to the site tonight if you don't mind.

Thank you for all the compliments here and in the forum. As we can see, there are many questions and the recent ones posted here are good ones!
I will gather these and format them to fit into the forum thread. I still need to update the overall organization in the FAQ as three broad categories are making for very long scrolling that makes it hard finding a question/answer.

Lots of updates today, but not to the topics I had hoped to clean up. Look for the (archaic and manually applied) tags and edit flags for the new and updated entries.
As a side note, several of the changes address specific concerns with the huge influx of players not familiar with RP conventions to WRA. Here's hoping we did some good with these updates.
