Level 69 Blades Edge
Dinged 70 just as I finished the zone. Didn't do any bird people quests or coven cave quests. After dinging 70, I went around doing the level 70 quest and doing dailies. Debating doing Netherstorm and SMV. 3 Bars to 72. The island dailies were all not too bad at level 70, including the belf & naga areas. Priest does kill faster than druid, but I don't think faster than hunter. Had I used shadowfiend every cd, it is quite possible that I could have at least matched the hunters time spent doing the island dailies. But because of how powerful it is, I much rather have it for my "oh crap" button.

Level 73 Borean Tundra & Howling Fjord
Went to BT at level 73. At level 74, went to HF to open up the walrus daily. Or maybe it was 72 & 73 respectively. Cant remember for sure. I blame it on an old, tired brain. In any event, everything so far was without incident with the exception of one little mishap. Was doing the quest to collect boxes at the cave near Fizzcrank Airstrip. Was a little more tricky than it had been on druid. Whereas druid could fly down & loot boxes without aggroing mob, priest could not. I pulled one mob. A pat came with him. And then the pat pulled 2 or 3 more. All shamans with those totems smacking me too. While I was heroically fighting all these mobs, a fellow alliance swooped down & looted all the boxes. Happy to report that shield held out & I won.
I'm currently 76-5/20 and headed back to HF to maybe get to level 77 before I head over to Dragonblight.
Quests: 1328/3000 Borean Tundra: 130/130 Howling Fjord: 29/130 Kills: 6719
Finished up HF. Started questing at Westguard Keep & skipped Valgarde. Found a chest in a building at Skorn. It was just a random building with no good reason to go inside other than I wanted to see what it looked like, and knowing blizz likes to put chests inside building. I was actually very surprised to find one there. It was such a random building that it's almost as if blizz never intended it to be found. Got to level 77-17/20. Started some Argent dailies, but only the ones that don't require killing. One was kissing frogs. I knew of a chest that has 2 spawn points very close together, and it's frequently there in Grizzly Hills. And sure enough, the chest was there. Had to kill 2 mobs to get to the chest. Got 21k xp from it. Too bad I don't have any rest. I was a little worried killing yellow mobs, but I figured if they gave me trouble, I'd just use shadowfiend. Off to Dragonblight
Quests: 1402/3000 Howling Fjord: 92/130 Kills: 7034

Dragonblight
Haven't been faithful in updating my travels, so I figured I'd better get on it before I start to forget the who, what, when, where & why's.
Had a big scare here, & not because of anything I did. I was in the cave at Obsidian Dragonshire, and fighting a mob. Then all of a sudden a toon runs past me with about 8 mobs chasing him. Panic time. I wasn't sure if I'd pick up the agro as they ran past me, or if all those mobs would reset. I kited the mob I was fighting to an obscure corner, hoping when the mobs ran back, they would reset instead of clobbering me. Wow gods be praised! They did. Only other thing worth noting is that priest was able to kill the end bosses, "Mighty Magnataur". As usual, I didn't go in the catacombs so a lot of quests were not available.
Grizzly Hills
Was an easy zone. Nothing to mention except I was very tempted to do the Ursoc quest. At this point, priest was so op that I figured she had a chance of winning. The only reason I decided not to attempt it is I figured it wouldn't be fun to die at this level should priest not be able to win & the boss wasn't fooled by shadowmeld. My hunter couldn't kill the boss, but fd worked there.
Storm Peaks
Nothing eventful happened. I would like to say that the only elite quest I did was associated with Hodir to open up the dailies. All other elite quests, including the last 2 of Hodir chain, group quests, & the worm quest at the end of the zone I chose to skip. The one elite quest out of Frosthold where a hammer is used against an elite isn't gear dependent, but it's similar to Seven Fold from Freya in Sholazar. I have done the quest before on an iron hunter, but then again, fd could/would save me should I have blown it. A luxury the priest doesn't have. Of course had I thought about it, it's quite possible priest could have jumped off the ledge using levitate had something gone wrong.
Storm Peaks:
Dragonblight: 105/115
Ice Crown
Priest handled Ice Crown better than druid did. Didn't have any issues. Didn't do any elite quests, mechanical quests, group quest, nor pvp quests. That one nasty boss that spawns the shades at argent dailies was np for priest. I just used shadowfiend for him, and any shades that did spawn were one-shotted. Interestingly, pally couldn't do it, so I elected not to do it on druid, and wont do it on a monk.
Ice Crown: 103/140
Well, that's it for Northrend. If I remember anything else, I will post it as an edit.

Level 85 Hyjal
I originally decided to go to Hyjal at 85, which I did. Priest could handle Hyjal, although mobs took a very long time to kill, and renew wasn't healing quite as well. I contemplated using PW:S, but because of how long mobs took to down, I figured it would cost more mana than just using renew. I do use PW:S if I get an add or am taking high damage. After doing a few quests, I started thinking that maybe in the long run it would be best if I wait until 86 to quest out the zone. So, back to Ice Crown to daily/grind to 86.
Level 86 I came back to Hyjal, which is where I still am atm. Had a big, big scare with "Sethria's Demise". Sethria doesn't do much damage, but she had a lot of hp considering she is an elite. When she turns into a dragon, the quest item is used & npc's show up to help. Only they weren't doing much damage. Seems like the boss's hp was only going down with my dps. My mana started getting precariously low. I even used hymn of hope. I was at about 25% mana wondering if I would be able to kill her, or would I have to resort to whacking while I waited for mana regen, and if the whacking could kill her should I need all my regen'ed mana for healing. Then boom, next thing I know boss is dead. I guess a hunter got tired of waiting for me to kill boss, so he did. I really cant say if this boss is killable at 86. I just don't know. I'm not sure what would have happened had this hunter not jumped in. I'm thinking that should I have to come here again, that maybe I should do Vashjir first. If that's the case, then really this boss shouldn't be done until 87??? I really am lost here as to the best course to take. I'm very surprised here as pally had no difficulty with boss other than it taking a blasted long time. Can priest auto attack as hard as pally can? If so, whacking would have/could have worked. Or is there something at the end of fight where boss takes more damage or the npc's give more damage? We may never know. In any event, I plan on finishing Hyjal soon, but if Deepholm is as hard for priest as it was for druid, I'm thinking that after Vashjir, maybe I should daily/grind to 88 before going there. I'm just amazed that mana was an issue as Deid was able to kill a caterpillar in Jade Forest at level 85.
Ok, I give up. I must have killed the Gatekeeper 10 times and still couldn't get credit for the quest. And after reading about "Magma Monarch", I decided it wasn't very ironman friendly. On a happy note, I was able to kill the broodmother that druid & pally couldn't kill, woot. Finished Hyjal at 86 and 9 bars. Not sure if I should grind until 87 in hopes of doing Deepholm at 88. That's a lot of grinding which I hate more than anything. Well, shucky darn, what to do, what to do???
Level 86 Vashjir
Finished Vashjir without any issues. Even the boss mobs with very high hp I was able to kill without worry. I didn't do the big eel quest. And I also didn't do the last quest that phases you in the battle. I had picked up the quest, but then it glitched & wouldn't let me start it. So I looked it up, and there were too many references about drowning & near-drowning that I decided to skip it. Too bad as it did have a decent chunk of xp.

Deepholm Level 87
Deepholm is proving to be as difficult for priest as it was for druid. Maybe even more so as priest doesn't have any cc's. Mobs are now breaking my shield, & I find that I have to use PW:S and renew together, and I now have to drink after each kill. I am now up to the quest to kill Gorgonite for the quest "Rock Bottom". Not sure how it's going to go as it is a two mob fight. I only have about 1/4 bar to go before I hit 88, so I have decided to go grind in Ice Crown, hoping that 88 will give me the ability to kill the 2 mobs in Deep.
Edit: My bad, "Rock Bottom" isn't the 2 mob quest. But on that one, the rock giant is suppose to throw a rock, and I'm suppose to hide behind it when the mob does his stone gaze thing. Only the giant didn't, & I would get turned to stone.
Omg, the 2 mob quest, "Fragile Values", did not go pretty. The basilisk runs away, & that's nice. But I had 2 mobs beating me. After killing the quest boss, the other one was taking too long to down, so I shadowmelded. That worked, but as soon as I tried to mount up, that stupid mob came running back after me even though my agro range was far enough away. So I figured I would just have to take him down. Omg, then the boss mob spawned right on top of me. At this point, I am only 1/2 mana, not enough to down 2 mobs, and shadowfiend is now on a 3 minute cd. RUN, FORREST, RUN!! Wow, basilisks are everywhere. I'm aggroing them as I run. Ouch. Finally I made it. But it was sure hairy there for a moment.
Quests: 2353 Deepholm: 88/110 Kills: 16,460
Wow, priest whacking for the win. Had to kill Zoltrik Drakebane for the quest, "The Twilight flight". Only, that sucker had about 250k hp. At 35k hp, I went oom. So I stood next to him whacking him. My mana regen was enough to use SW:Death every 8 second cd with an occasional renew threw in. My SW:D only does about 3k damage, for about a total of 12 times. Good thing the boss didn't hit too hard, or I'm afraid my whacking wouldn't have worked.
The main boss mob that almost did druid in, Boldrich Stonerender, although not easy, wasn't darn near impossible for priest like it was for druid. I was really worried for this boss because priest couldn't cc, whereas druid could root & use first aid to heal which was necessary because she would have otherwise ran oom and died because that boss hits so hard.
So, only 1 boss left that has me worried. The last boss to open up Deep dailies. She has about 500k hp. But she also doesn't do much damage so long as I hide behind pillars when she does her cast, & I don't stand in purple. Wow, that's going to be a terrible fight. I did read that the quest can be abandoned & boss reset should it prove not doable on priest. Wish me luck.
Edit: Wow, rofl. Used shadowfiend twice on High Priestess Lorthuna, and almost a 3rd time. Ended up only being able to apply SW:Pain and renew when needed. So whacked inbetween. Finally, Thearzane showed up & then I no longer needed to heal, so was able to use SW:Pain & SW:Death. Very long fight, but happy to say it is doable by a priest even though there is extreme mana issues.
Finishing up Deep from dinging 88 only gave me 1 3/4 bars xp. I still have the 4 or 5 dailies to do, but compared to the needed xp at level 88, they wont be giving me much. I'm hoping to get to level 89 before the holiday event needs to be done. It starts in 3 days, but it lasts 2 weeks, so I pretty much have 2 weeks to get to 89. So my plan is to open up Mop so that I can grind 2 bars a day, doing dailies including Deep dailies, & dabbling in Uldum when I have time and to break up the boredom of grinding. Opening up 2 zones, one being mop, and doing dailies should give me a good chunk of xp today.
Quests: 2380 Deepholm: 110/110 Kills: 16,522 Level 88 and 1 1/2 bars

I opened up Uldum & MOP. Then I did the grind with caterpillars all the way through 88 to 89. The priest killed 7 caterpillars for every 5 caterpillars that the druid did. The first hour, priest was able to kill 47 mobs, and I believe it took 50/bar. In the druid's defense, she was able to kill a level 84 humanoid in jade forest, and I don't believe priest can. She may be able to do it with shadowfiend, but I'm not willing to find out.
At 89, I picked up the quests I could do in Jade Forest, even a few that were pretty scary. I did 2 quests at Nectarbreeze Orchard, the one putting out the fires & the other was picking up 6 armor. Most of the mobs there are fighting friendly npc's, but the pats were big, tough, burly beasts wanting to smash my face in. So I had to tread carefully. (Edit: Quests are "Spitefire" & "Orchard Supplied Hardware")
I then quested out Tian Monastery of all I could do. And I did 2 I probably shouldn't have done. Have to be descriptive here on these 2 quests as I didn't write them down, & I forgot their names. The one is when u get this thingy that you pull by rope to the npc at the Monastery. While you are pulling it, the mobs attack it & then attempt to attack you. I failed the first time & had to run for my life. And if you get too far away, the rope breaks & you have to start all over again. The second time I was a little more careful, keeping it closer to me & stopping to let the mobs move. I ended up still getting chased, but I managed to outrun them & still keep my rope. The other quest I did that was dangerous was the one where you gather berries by channeling while big, ferocious tigers are roaming wildly about. At times, I would agro them, and I would have to run for my life screaming like a little girl. I had to be careful when I ran because the patting mobs are so close together, and had I aggroed too many, it would have been death. As it was, one tiger was able to break my shield and do some pretty hefty damage to me.
Afterwards, I headed to Halfhill. And omw, somewhere near Tunderfoot Fields, I picked up a few quests there. One was killing these low hp turtles and picking up some kind of herb. Those little turtles had about 35k hp and were giving about 3.5k xp, which surprised me. They do very little damage, but they do have a tendency to spawn quickly. I then quested out Halfhill. I still have the one to turn in that has you planting a scallion. I ended up planting 4 which probably wasn't a good idea as one has the shining light that will spawn a nasty mob if I should click on it, so I hope that I can at least harvest one safely, so I can turn in the quest.
I tried to kill the water striders at Vale if Eternal Blossoms. The problem was that without using shadowfiend, by the time the mob was dead, I was oom & 1/2 hp. That meant I would have to save fiend for "oh crap". It also means that grinding them would, in the end, give less xp per hour than sticking with the caterpillars. Interestingly, the caterpillars now take more time. They take just as many smacks to kill as they did when I was 88, but now instead of taking 150k mana, they take 200k mana which means my drinking time is longer. I haven't timed how many per hour yet, but I have plenty of time to eventually find out.
It will take a total of 18,370,000 xp for level 89 to 90. That works out to be 918,500 per bar. I get 14,224 xp per caterpillar. That means I now need about 65 mobs per bar, or a total of 1,300 assuming I don't do dailies or the fires. The xp I get from grinding these bugs is greater per hour than anything else I could do. So, since dinging level 88, I have been on a marathon grind while watching movies on youtube to keep me awake. It does give me some lag, but without it, no way could I tolerate this grind. Oh, and I have already did the first aid quest in Dustwallow (Hammer Falls for the Horde) which gave 245k xp at level 89. And I got that treasure at Shrine of Remembrance just outside of Paw'Don Village. With all the questing & treasure & grinding that I have been doing, I am now 9 bars into level 89, whew. Eleven bars to go.
