Dear Shanir;
These last months in Dustwallow Marsh have given me a vision of Hell. The swamp is dark, damp, dangerous and smells of death. I completed all tasks given me, perhaps making the area safer for its inhabitants, but I am ecstatic to be leaving. Lady Jaina gave leave for me to return to Stormwind and the Eastern Kingdoms. I lingered in Stormwind for several days, enjoying the love festival and training in first aid. King Wyrnn has put the call to all for help in the Eastern Plaguelands, and I will answer the call.
I am writing this from Stormfeather Outpost, where I have stopped to buy new chainmail from my friend Brannik Ironbelly. I met Brannik while assisting the Wildhammer dwarves in The Hinterlands. I received 2 flasks of Darkmoon Special Reserve from a drunk fisherman in Dustwallow (don't ask what I had to do for it, still makes me shudder). I saved the flasks to share with Brannik. We are planning to drink to fallen comrades this evening.
I will leave in the morning for the Thondroril River to begin my journey. I will write when I am able.

Dear Shanir;
I have joined the oddest group of traveling companions. Upon my arrival in the Eastern Plaguelands, I came upon a female Worgen merchant traveling by caravan. Her companions were missing and she begged me to find them. Gidwin and Tarenar are young paladins wishing to join the Argent Crusade. Gidwin, a dwarf, is rather slow and foolish but a hale companion. Tarenar, a blood elf, is very skilled as a paladin, handsome as the Sun, and is either in love with Fiona (the Worgen woman) or the biggest suck-up I have ever met.
Yes, dear sister, I am traveling with a blood elf. They accept all kinds in the Argent Crusade without care of what faction or race they are.
I have met a gnome named Chromie, who is actually part of the Bronze Dragonflight. Together we were able to put the spirits of the militia in Darrowshire to rest, and unite a father and daughter in the spirit world.
We added to our caravan by picking up Argus Highbeacon, a member of the Argent Crusade who cares for the towers here. We are staying at the Light's Shield Tower for several days to let the horses rest and allow Argus to make repairs to the tower. I am sure there will be much for me to do at this waypoint.
Write me in care of Light's Hope Chapel, as that will be the next stop on my journey.

OOC: I adore the new EPL quests and am very happy to be here. The mobs hit like Mack trucks so it is slow going.

Dear Shanir;
I will never ride a rocket again. There were several times during our journey that I was sure it was malfunctioning and we were going to die an ignoble death by falling. I was dropped off at Fuselight by the Sea and took a teleporter to the town of Fuselight proper. These Goblins are ingenious with their use of metals and tools and make all manner of wonderful things. However, their devotion leans toward blowing things up, which can be useful at times but mostly a danger.
I have assisted a member of the Red Dragonflight with capturing Black dragonflight eggs. The Red is trying to re-establish the Black as keepers of Azeroth. Deathwing is corrupt, and has corrupted his Flight, but maybe with a new start the Black will be able to fulfill their duties again.
The Badlands is filled with characters, some of them having been here for years. I have retrieved beer for dwarves, found Titan artifacts, listened to drunken stories and stolen meat and silk from ogres. For such a dry and seemingly dead place, the Badlands is filled with life and hope. I have enjoyed the month I have spent here.
Having made friends with several of the Goblins in Fuselight I am heading to Tanaris to aid their kin there. It will take me several days to make the journey to Gadgetzan, so please write me in care of the Inn there.

Dear Shanir;
The Steamwheedle Cartel is up to it's neck in pirates, vultures, hyenas and trolls. I have been given many assignments by it's members as I help to make it a safe and profitable place. There is a serene beauty here when the sun rises, and the salt tang of the sea permeates the air far inland. I plan to be here many months as there is much to do.

Dear Shanir;
I have made it to Outland (Draenor in the old tongue). I am stationed at Honor Hold in the Hellfire Peninsula. I am given to understand that I must put in my time here before I am able to be reassigned, but oh my sister, I hate it here. The landscape is dreadful, with demons and Fel Orcs in every crack and crevice of this blighted, burned-out place. Oh how I long for the fields of Arathi or the cool forests of Feralas. To only look upon the azure sea on the shores of Tanaris would bring me relief. I work for the humans and Wildhammer dwarves struggling to close the demon portals and subdue the Fel Orcs. I see members of the Horde attempting to do the same, but the enmity of Azeroth persists here and we do not work together. It is a pity, as our combined forces would be able to accomplish much and secure this world faster. Mayhap I should have become a diplomat instead of a hunter. But no, that life is not for me.
I am not able to give you details of my assignments here, but I will tell you I am able to complete them thus far. I miss you sister, and of course the children. Please pray for me, as I will need those prayers in the coming days and weeks.
Your sister, Ferrufem (Level 61)
OOC: I had forgotten the sheer number of patrols in all areas of Hellfire. It makes it difficult to get the quest objective done while I am killing 4 times the number of mobs necessary to complete it. I have always hated this zone, even when questing with full BOA's.

Dear Shanir;
I met your old friend Burko at the Temple of Telhamat. He teaches first aide here at the temple. He asked me to send his "warm wishes" to you and blessed our family. It has been so much like home to be here with members of my own race. I have missed speaking in the old tongue while working for the Humans, Night Elves and Gnomes. We sat around the fires and told stories and toasted our honored dead.
After meeting Thiah Redmane, a Cenarion Druid, I took flight to the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh. I am staying at the Inn here. There are several Broken here, and my first order of business was to dispatch a group of Broken slavers and their leader. While in Umbrafen Village, I rescued Kayra Longmane, a Tauren Cenarion. She was thankful for the rescue and I am happy to make a friend. She invited me to share their fire tonight where we will tell tales of Azeroth. I like these Tauren, and am unhappy that we are in opposing factions.
Tomorrow I travel to a cave south of Umbrafen Village to recoup Ikeyen's belongings. Take care of yourself sister. Give the children a hug from me.

Dear Shanir;
I feel like one of those perfumed woman in the marketplace, the ones who wear diaphanous clothing and walk on the arm of the wealthy men. Not literally, but I have been working for so many people and done so many things I am not sure what to do next.
I was able to recover Ikeyen's belongings. When he offered me the pick of his worldly goods, I tried to refuse. I explained my vows and reasons for wearing my simple gear but he would not budge and kept pressing me. I finally chose and quietly sold the item, the gold for which is included with this letter . The Cenarions requested I help Watcher Leesa'oh at the Cenarion Watchpost. She had me picking up "discarded nutriment" which looked like feces to me. After taking a bath in the nearby lake, I then went to collect mushrooms for her. While in the Hewn Bog, I discovered the Orebor Harborage and took on several jobs for the people there. A human rogue wanted a sample of poison and a book from the Daggerfen assassins. The Kurenai gave me several jobs also.
I still have to gather Naga claws, shut down the steam pump controls and do something about the Marshlight Bleeders and Bog Lords. And that isn't even the half of it!
Write when you get the chance, sister. Your letters are a welcome relief in a frenzied time for me.
Your sister, Ferrufem (Level 63)
P.S. I have given Kayra our direction. She is interested in your work with the children and would like to write you and visit home with me. Even though she is a Tauren, she is a Druid first and does not take sides in the Azeroth war.

Dear Shanir;
I am pleased to hear that Kayra is fast becoming a friend to our House. Even with my work in Terokkar I take time to visit Zangarmarsh and my friend. Terokkar has unusual trees, much wildlife and so much work to do. The Arrokoa are fierce bird-like creatures that are being corrupted by Terokk. The redeemed Arrokoa are determined to stop this corruption. I have been to Auchindoun and seen the remains of the destruction there. The Sha'tar work tirelessly to stop the evil and put the spirits of the dead to rest. The city of Shattrath is beautiful in design but even more so due to the Naaru there. When in Shattrath there is a peace that permeates the very air. Even the Human, Orc and Broken refugees pouring into the city hold the Naaru in awe. There are two factions here that work to assist the Naaru. The Aldor and The Scryers. As a Draenei I am welcomed by the Aldors, but have chosen to remain neutral in their power struggle.
Write when you can, I remain in Terokkar for the time being.

Dear Shanir;
I have finished with my duties in Terokkar and am stationed at Telaar in Nagrand. The beauty of this land takes my breath away. Rolling hills, grasslands with abundant game, floating islands, and clear, cool water. It is paradise. I am working for the Kurenai, a group of redeemed Broken that have made this city their home. The leader of this people, Arechron, has a son named Corki who I have had to rescue from the Ogres twice. I am not sure why they don't watch him better, or discipline him to stop this foolishness.
I have been invited by Hemet Nesingwary himself to take part in his big game hunt. We spoke at some length and a bargain was reached. I will aide Hemet and his hunters in exchange for the meat. The Kurenai hunters will take the carcasses and the meat and skins will be used by the people of Telaar.
Sister, I truly love this land. It calls to my heart. I will be here several months as there is much to do and I wish to stay. Write me in care of Telaar. Your sister, Ferrufem (Level 67)
