Dear Shanir; I am sorry that I haven't written you since my arrival on Azuremyst Isle. I did send word with Aeun when I left Ammen Vale, and I hope he was able to contact you in a timely manner as I know how you worry about me.
Dearest sister, we agreed that one of us had to leave our village to seek out opportunities to make gold to feed the growing brood of children orphaned by the cataclysm. You are too valuable with your healing and teaching abilities to leave-and I was not worthy to stay. Even though I could bring enough meat and forage to the table, the children need clothes and medicine and an education. My leaving has enabled me to send you the coin in this package. Please use it as you see fit.
I have met many and varied peoples on my adventure, killed all manner of animals and collected everything from crystals to mushrooms. When I have more time I will tell you of my work in more detail. Tell Auron, Barona and Muri that I miss them, and kiss baby Nabok for me.

Dear Shanir; I have had the most uplifting yet humbling experience and I must share it with you! I have been working for the Hand of Argus in Bloodwatch of late, doing routine tasks for its members and the tradesmen who inhabit the village. I was approached by Vindicator Boros to eliminate Blood elves until I recovered the Sunhawk missive. Once I had given the missive to him, he had it translated and asked me to take it to Prophet Velen! You can imagine my trepidation at being given this assignment. I was dirty and covered in the blood of our enemies. I immediately flew to the Exodar, but took the time once there cleanse myself and buy new leathers. I knew you would be disappointed with anything less.
My breath was shallow as I entered the Vault of Lights. Climbing the stairs I could feel tears welling in my eyes though from fear or happiness I did not know. Seeing the prophet took the remaining breath from my chest and I thought I would faint-but then sister he smiled at me! Me, the least of our house!
I cannot write anymore, I am reliving the memory of this great experience.

Dear Shanir;
I hope everything is going well for you and the children. I have enclosed 2 gold and several silver for food and necessities with this message. It is hard for me to look at the beautiful items that I receive for assisting the people of this realm and know that I must sell them. However, I know that you need the coin more than I need the gear. I am able to outfit myself in simple leathers and well crafted but plain weapons to do the work that I do.
I have progressed enough in my skills to learn to ride and I have purchased an Elekk! She is a beautiful animal, worthy of gold and jewel adornment. Alas, I have neither gold nor jewels and of course it would be silly to do so anyway. I work every day for the Triumvirate of the Hand. My next mission is to destroy the Sun gate. I can say no more, as the mission itself requires secrecy.

Dear Shanir; Today was the best day of my life! I have been working undercover with the Hand of Argus, and today we completed the final mission. I was assigned to follow and protect Demolitionist Legoso as he attempted to destroy the Vector Coil and slay Sironas. We succeeded beyond my wildest dreams! When I returned to Blood watch, Exarch Admetius had assembled the people I had met during my time here. I cried with my Night Elf brother Corwin, exchanged a joke with Kessel, and chased chickens with Cookie. Admiral Odesyus actually picked me up, twirled me around and planted a kiss on my lips! Then I walked to the Prophet Velen. He spoke of me as a hero to all the peoples of Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isles. The Prophet himself presented me with the Tabard of the Hand, and an heirloom ring. I know that I promised to sell the rewards of my efforts sister, but I will place the signet ring in a bank vault until the time that I return home. I cannot give it up. I don't believe that this is vanity-but it is a remembrance of a time of trials and great learning. I know that I am still lowest of our House, but perhaps I have moved that position higher.
I write this from the city of Ironforge, carved by the dwarves from the living rock of the mountains of Dun Morogh. I have orders to report to The Wetlands (the name of which sounds dreadful), and will be leaving at dawn's light.
I pray for you and the children. Enclosed is gold coin from my rewards and auction house profits.

Dear Shanir; I am in the Wetlands, after nearly losing my life in the mountain pass of Dun Algaz. I was charged with retrieving a keg of ale for Mountaineer Rharen. While in the ruins of the keep, I was assaulted by Ma'ruk Wyrmscale, a Dragonmaw warlord. We fought a vicious battle that I won, but barely. I was injured but couldn't dally as there were other Dragonmaw forces in the vicinity. I secured the keg to my back and returned to Rharen who told me, "Aye Lass, I shoulda warned ya about ol' Ma'ruk". Still reeling from my encounter with a warlord I mounted Larai my faithful elekk, and let her carry me to Slabchisel's Survey. There were several dwarves there doing routine surveying of the land, and praise the Naaru that their work is routine as they were all drunk or completely hung over! After helping with their tasks Forba Slabchisel sent me on to Menethil Harbor for my next posting.
Take care of yourself and the children. Enclosed is the coin I have earned for my work here.

After a nights rest I was partaking of my breakfast when a young human rushed into the Deepwater Inn. In a breathless voice he whispered the horrible news that Ironbraids had perished in the Dun Algaz pass. My eyes filled with tears at the news, as she was a valiant paladin, seeking the true path of the light. Rest in Peace Ironbraids. May your spirit fly to your ancestral home and be reborn.

Dear Shanir;
I finished my work in the Wetlands and have made my way to Ashenvale. The Horde was attacking Astranaar as I arrived, so my first task was to put out the fires burning this beautiful village. Vindicator Palanaar is posted here, and I am to ride her elekk to speak with Architect Nemos in at Forest Song. I no sooner arrive than I must leave, but duty calls. I will write you again when I return from Forest Song, as I do have much to tell you.

Dear Shanir;
I have returned to the Eastern Kingdoms, called back by the King of Stormwind to do his work in Arathi Highlands. My time in Ashenvale was short, but I was able to aid Architect Nemos in starting the process of rebuilding Forest Song. I would have liked to tarry there, but the human King insisted that I return and aid the troops retaking the Highlands from the Syndicate, ogres and trolls that are entrenched here.
Refuge Point is not a point at all! It is merely a dry arroyo cut into the middle of this territory with a few tents serving as an Inn and barracks for those stationed here. Commander Amaren, a proud and stern woman leads the offensive here, she and a dwarf named Skuerto have given me enough assignments to keep busy for the next several days.
Sister, the mail service is sketchy here, but please try and write when you get the chance. I will be here for the foreseeable future and would love to hear how baby Nebok is doing. Give all the children a kiss for me, I miss them and you. Tell our GrandAunt that I am working hard to undo my reputation and trying to raise my status within our House.

Dear Shanir;
It is so beautiful here in the Highlands with rolling grass covered hills and abundant wildlife. I had a little trouble with a Witherbark Troll headhunter. As we were fighting, his axe bit deep into my leg. The wound is red and weeping and I feel feverish. I bandaged it as you taught me to do, but there is no medical care here at Refuge Pointe, merely a collection of tents with a few merchants and the troops stationed here. I will continue this letter when I feel better.
To Priestess Shanir of the House Baeari;
Your sister, Ferrufem, was brought to the infirmary in Ironforge near death from an axe wound. She is unconscious, recovering slowly and will be unable to write for some time. I found this letter in her pack, already addressed to you and thought it would ease your mind to hear that she is alive. If you wish to write her, send your letter in care of the Ironforge infirmary.

Dear Shanir;
I have recovered from the physical effects of my wound, but the psychic effects still linger. Healer Firestone told me that I was unconscious for several days, mumbling and thrashing in my sickbed. Sister, I dreamed my soul was taken by the trolls, enslaved to do their bidding for eternity. I was so frightened, but did the deeds they forced me to as I had little choice. Imagine my relief at waking in the infirmary in Ironforge! I felt as if I was granted a new life, and I am grateful to the healers here for the opportunity to live on.
I am back at Refuge Point in the Highlands, working for Skuerto the Dwarf. There is a princess chained underground here, and I am working to break her free. I know now what it is like to be enslaved and forced to do other's bidding-even if my experience was a dream from a poisoned wound-and I will work diligently to free the princess Myzrael.
My work here has paid well, please use the gold for yourself and the children.

Dear Shanir;
I was happy to receive your letter at my new assignment, Stormfeather Outpost. I was fooled again by my trusting heart, the Princess Myzrael was imprisoned legitimately for her crimes, and had to be recaptured and re-chained.
The beauty of this land makes my eyes water and takes away my breath. I am working for the dwarves, killing the trolls that have gone too far with their voodoo, desiring to rule their Gods themselves. The Vilebranch trolls have even taken to drinking the blood of their own kind to advance their evil deeds! I have flown upon the back of a Razorbeak gryphon to the highest point in the land. The magnificence of the view uplifted my spirit and gave me the strength to do the killing that is necessary to conquer the evil that fills the temple of Jintha'Alor. Fraggar Thundermantle has his suspicions as to what has occurred, but I am going into the sacrifice cave to get proof of the Vilebranch's intentions. I ask you to pray for me, that my soul will not be captured and used by the trolls voodoo.

Dear Shanir;
Thank the Naaru that I have made it out of The Hinterlands alive! The spider goddess Shadra had been released by her priestesses, and was about to bring destruction to the entire area. With the help of the Wildhammer dwarves I was able to kill her (but I believe that a goddess cannot really die, we just killed her earthly body).
After receiving my reward (a beautiful blue helm that broke my heart to sell) I took a flight to Ironforge. While there I was offered a chance to give a charm bracelet to Muradin Bronzebeard . He took my proffered gift with a twinkle in his eye. I then went to Stormwind to ask for audience with the king. I begged leave to return to Kalimdor. King Wyrnn gave his consent, so I boarded the ship to Rhut'Theran Village.
We were many days at sea, which gave me time to reflect on my journey to better myself in the eyes of our House, and help you to raise the children abandoned by their parents or fate. If I had to make the choice again, I would do the same even though the road has been rough and full of trials. I have met honest, stalwart people living the best they can with what they have. I have seen wondrous sights; cities carved of living stone, the grass and trees from atop a gryphon's back, and water so clear that I could see into the depths from the deck of a ship. With hardship comes an appreciation for life, laughter and song. I would not trade my road for the tower of a princess if it were offered.
Arriving in Rhut'Theron Village, I made my way to the Temple of the Moon and was granted an audience with Tyrande Whisperwind. She accepted my bracelet and requested my presence in Feralas. I write this from Dreamer's Rest, another collection of tents although these stand in the shade of the Twin Colossals. I will endeavor to do my best to bring honor to our House while helping the people of this land.

In Darnassus there is a rumor that Ironmikey has passed from this life. Mikey followed the path of Iron, using simple gear. I knew him as a jolly fellow, always ready with a joke and able to tell a good tale. May the Naaru accept you into the light, Mikey. You will be missed.

Dear Shanir;
The wildlife here is corrupted by an illness that none seem to be able to cure. The stone giants themselves are corrupted, raging and destroying trees, animal life and the very stone of the earth itself. I was given assignment by the dragon Ysondre herself to close the portal and stop the corruption. As I drew near the portal there were many dragonkin that had to be dispatched before I could fight the portal guardian. It was heartbreaking to see the green dragonflight, guardians of nature, spreading the disease. The portal guardian did not yield easily, but fought to the death to preserve his madness. The portal is now sealed and the natural healing of the land can take place.
I then reported to General Shandis Feathermoon at Feathermoon Stronghold. She has been training three Worgen sisters who will be returning to their people to fight the ills that affect them. I was assigned to help Tambra on Sardor Isle. I was confused as there was no boat or bridge to get there, so an Ancient of War carried me to the Isle! After dispatching the Naga general there, I went to the Tower of Estulan and reported to the second sister, Silvia. I was able to gather the forest creatures to aid the Sentinels using a silver whistle. General Feathermoon and the Sentinels routed Cho'gal from Dire Maul (of which I played a small part), and I retrieved an amulet from a demon in the Darkmist Ruins.
I am staying this night at Feathermoon Stronghold and will leave with the dawn to report to Adella (the third Worgen sister) at her covert camp. I am anticipating fighting in secrecy. There are numerous Horde poachers here, and camps teeming with Horde. The Tauren are at least trying to heal the land, but the Orcs and Goblins only want to make Azeroth work for them. I have tried to avoid them when I can. There is still much work to do in Feralas, so please mail your letters to Feathermoon Stronghold as I will yet be here several weeks. Take care of yourself and the children. Your sister; Ferrufem (Level 40)

Dear Shanir;
Thank you for your letter, it filled my heart with joy to receive it. I am so happy to hear that the gold I send has enabled you to enroll Auron in warrior training. It seems like yesterday that Auron was a child and now he is a youngling learning from Ahonan at the Exodar. It is hard to believe that four years have gone since I last saw you. I am now stationed at Theramore Isle. Lady Jaina Proudmore is ruler here. I have not had audience with her, as I am told she is busy with her studies. The port city is beautiful, white brick under a cloudless sky. I am staying at the Inn here, Innkeeper Jaene will hold all post for me while I am in the marsh. I am not looking forward to entering the marsh as it is dark and gloomy. I do not relish the thought of the ooze beneath my hooves.
Take care of yourself and the children. I will write when I am able.
