Top ten deaths guessing Leeta and Stone will be top candidates. Even lost count on the number of deaths they are on.

When i think about you Asy, which is every hour of the day, i get this image of Crocodile Dundee and Barry Humphries' alter ego Sir Les Patterson. Does anyone even say pom (Prisoner of Mother England) anymore? I have never once heard the 100's of Australian bar-men/women in my capital say the word once, some of the most interesting and friendly people i have ever met. I dont take it to offence, its much like me calling you a convict, a bit of banter between a member of mother England and a member of its former colony, as i know its not an insult its just a nickname, which you Australians love doing "giving everything a nickname". Love you I hope a reward is given to you, the wooden spoon for most hours wasted. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!! Kisses

In order to make sure your character's level is recorded at the time the contest concludes, you need to be LOGGED OUT OF YOUR CHARACTER.
At midnight pacific the job will run to take the most current information available from blizzard and store it into a separate table.
If you are logged in at this time, progress you may have made since the last time your character information was updated will not be recorded.
The current countdown is just a little over 27 hours from the time of this post.
Good luck!

Email sent to Margymonk's supplied address. Has until end of day Friday June 3 to respond or I go to the next person on the list. Replied with details of Battle.net address. Thankyou. If by any chance there is going to be another contest, just an idea, maybe the winner can choose the theme of the next contest, within reason and ofc at your discretion. I think it would be a great idea, in homage to the brilliant and wonderful film Warcraft: The Beginning, to make the next contest, just Warriors, and the ultimate homage would be you can only be either Orc or Human. Just an idea ofc, again thanks for the great contest and everyone who entered, special mention to Asy and Taliron who pushed me to my limits to win this contest, im sure if they hadnt of died at 63 and 60, it would have been a tight finish at the end.

Grats Margothon! Well deserved!
A couple of suggestions for future leveling contests: - first, the contest should feature just one class to level the playing field (Margothon's theme idea is very good) - second, a time-limit contest will always be won by somebody that has the time to play more than other people (I include myself in this category as well). As such, catching up with a skilled played that has a lot of time to play is very hard especially after a mid-contest death. So, I think there should also be a /played time limit added as a rule which would reward smart play and give more players a chance to win. Thoughts?

Sadly I don't think there is a way to track /played time or that would be an interesting idea.

So, I think there should also be a /played time limit added as a rule which would reward smart play and give more players a chance to win. Thoughts? A good idea, but with its own complexitys and a flaw as i will explain: So how would we set this up, lets base it on someone that works full time and has limited time on a weekend, 3 hours a day play time average over a week? So over a 30 day contest = 90 hours, so to even the contest out, a char must not have more than 3 days 18 hours gameplay, which can easily be screen shotted through twitter or other ways. Of course this will even out the playing field for everyone, but heres the flaw, its about not dying, your still limited to how much you can play in a week, so although the leaders character can only clock up 3 days 18 hours in the contest and is essentially frozen at the level they get to at 3 days 18 hours. If the person with limited time to play dies, they still have to start over again, but wait they have limited time to play right? thats what this was about? Essentially yes it will give people with limited time to play, time to catch up again, but equally will give skilled players with a well mapped out efficient route an edge, ofc there would be no time for dailys, you would want to move on, this would bring a new skill level, again feeding in to the more experienced players advantage, but essentially it still comes down to one thing, DONT DIE. If my 2 closest adverseries, who i believe both work, did'nt die im pretty sure this would have gone down to the last hour of the last day. The pressure would have been enormous at the end and there would have been tears im sure :} Also further thoughts on further contests down the line, i dont think monks or hunters should be allowed, hunters for obvious reasons and monks because of the xp bonus, i myself did not use the buff, always clicked it off. This did not stop accusations of still using it, it kind of dampened the exitement of winning for me. The thought of people thinking i probably used it anyways, i dont think anyone should be in this position, so stopping monks from further contests would stop this. Ofc having a contest of just hunters in the future could be fun, no night elfs though :}

This is where the skill counts. Not dying is a matter of skill, leveling efficiently is also a matter of skill. I see nothing wrong with this. If my 2 closest adversaries, who i believe both work, did'nt die im pretty sure this would have gone down to the last hour of the last day.
