Iceshatter.... lvl 73 quest mob in Dragonblight. His Pulsing Shards DoT is supposed to do 375 per stack every 3 sec. It seems either bugged or un-squished as it did 5k per tic (4 stacks) on the attempt that killed me.... and then did 12.5k (5 stacks) on a second test fight after I died.
Highly advise avoiding this mob

Although low level, I would warn for Humar the Pridelord, a rare lvl 18 black lion in Northern Barrens. He's located under a tree just north of Ratchet, surrounded by lots of other lions. I passed him on my 22 hunter (Rhoargh) and thought a quick rare kill would be some extra experience. I pulled him from a distance and killed him swiftly, but he has a nasty ability: he roars for help, pulling everything within 30 yards. Suddenly, I had 15 or more lions and cubs chasing me. Luckily I just got Aspect of the Cheetah which allowed me to sprint back to the safety of Ratchet, but as a melee class that could've been deadly. If you want to take him down, be sure to clear the adds first.

Devoured quest in Twilight Hihglands
Requires dying to complete.... real death not 'death'.
Twilight Highlands is doable up to that point for an Iron, but advise not even taking the quest as you will get stuck in combat and hearthing out will be tough with mobs spawning to attack you. I was lucky enough to get far enough away eventually and dodge a few attacks to manage a hearth out.
About as deadly of a quest as they get for an Iron.

In Ruins of Sha'naar in the southwest corner of Hellfire Peninsula the Illidari Taskmasters use Demoralizing Shout which considerably decreases attack power by ~250. On an ironman this renders any melee virtually powerless until it wears off (~30 second duration). The taskmasters are also always with two other Dreghood mobs and all hit ~200-300 per hit.
Almost got my warrior killed here, as the AP debuff also affects ignore pain.
There is also an elite NPC that patrols the area called Arzeth the Merciless.
