Just died at the tender level of 16 in Loch Modan. Went against the boss gnoll in the caves, things got hot, went to Shadowmeld and heal up to try again, button just flat out didn't work. Hot key nor mouse click would activate it. I don't know what happened, but I'm a little peeved. I really hate dying at low levels. Much rather would die at a high level so I don't have to go through the exact same route twice in a row while it's still fresh in my mind. Maybe it's just me.
I'm already back up on my feet at level 6 in a spree fueled by spite in around 15 mins. Probably gonna save boosting it back up to past that level for tomorrow.
edit: Seems that the early levels seem to get me more than the high ones. Maybe it's just getting too cocky and trying to sprint through before it really gets hard. Glad I write down my deaths.

That gnoll is nasty now as the fire on the ground does heavy damage and not much room to avoid it especially for a melee.

I hate that quest...you're lucky if another player is killing mobs or on that quest at the same time; you get inadvertant help.

No death rage for me, just sad face and frustration at being so stupid, riding through a sectio n and things were respawning (which in the back of my mind I knew they were doing) and ended up being dismounted and pummelled to death by ogres, even my minion sighed at me! Now I have really been enjoying this character (green man) so I don't know if I should just carry on and play her anyway or start again for the competition!

I started my first Ironmanchallenge. I chose a human hunter (since this is the 'easiest' way to do it, I think). I am really enjoying going trough the older content this way. All went well, and every level I grew I thought more and more that those mistakes I see people make on the Youtubes doing Ironman are laughable - and absolutely won't happen to me. And then I walked into a house in Raven Hill.
No real rage for me - but I am a bit in shock. I certainly will start over. As I said, I really enjoyed doing the older content this way. The slower pace combined with my missing pieces of Loremaster showed me the game in a way I knew it when I started in Vanilla. Nowadays with every expansion the rush to finish every thing in the game really spoils this feeling.

Welcome to the Raven Hill Inn club. Glad you're gonna start over, that's the spirit! Also, you should probably stick to night elf instead of human - they have a free "get out of jail" card in the form of shadowmeld, which instantly ends combat. Hunter pick is very good though!

Only go human if you want to do the impossible! Night Elf is for wimps. Just kidding. *laughs*

Now that the artifact weapon is not required now should not be that many death riders now

Do not fly around Colderra if you don't want to die.../facepalm at my own stupidity. Those Nexus Watchers are literal killers.

You know, I don't think this counts, but I'm gonna throw this here just for laughs. I had a dream that I died on my hunter by taking the boat to Northrend (at level 29) and fighting a mob in Borean Tundra. Obviously, I died. I woke up convinced I had actually killed off my hunter for a good 20 minutes until I logged on to find her safe and sound in Stranglethorn. Lmao?

My return to Ironman was without luck. Died at 22 in Ashenvale while collecting sludge blood. That stupid Sharptalon respawned near me, but I was prepared for him. What I wasn't prepared for was an invisible nelf on top of me. I trapped it but for some reason I also hit him breaking the trap. Tried to run with both after me, the stupid nelf filling my back with arrows, so I escaped with like 5% health while running into the orc base. Then a sludge respawned in front of me and started chasing me too. Then I got stuck into one of those big orc guns and the stupid thing took care of me. I always hated that area, I won't be going there anytime soon, not before getting feign death anyway lol.
Fun fact, after the scaling change it takes around 6 hours to completely finish the starting belf zone (minus the three elite quests) and get to around level 21 and move to Orgrimmar. The same amount it took me in the past before the heirloom mount was allowed. With no scaling and heirloom mount it took around 4 hours.
