I killed off Draninae (ER - EU) this Sunday. An almost classic Ironman death. I was trying to do the quests in Westfall for Captain Sander (ghost at the lighthouse) I was killing the 2 different types of murlocs, missing only one (danger sign # 1) My AoE had once before caught a crab of mini-size, but my level, not a level 1 beastie. (danger sign # 2). The area seemed clear, but suddenly my health diminished quickly. A crab had joined the Murloc. I was too slow to flee, and they got me. Level 38
See you in Classic or on my Pacifist (Fredeligst ER - EU).
Did I say that I hate scaling zones?

They could remove lvling entirely and it would feel the same. It would have been better if the zone would stay at the lvl you do certain quests (but probably more complicated on their part)

AOE can be very bad if you're not careful. I've died a few times because of neutral mobs being hit by my toe.

1: Rustypal. Died at level 20 to her 3rd DC fighting one low level naga just after drinking .
2. Rustypally #1: level 7. Doorbell rang, I was distracted = dead.
3 + 4. Rustypally #2 and #3: Dead at low levels due to DC
5. Rustypally #4: Died to trolls in Hinterlands at 32 after surviving 8 DCs.
6. Rustyfive: Died to respawns at 22 after surviving 3 DC's.
7. Draninae: Died at 23 to a low level during her 5th DC.
8. Warecs I: lvl 15: Died behind the Inn in Sentinel Hill.
9. Paladrina I : Died at lvl 15 - too many Abominations.
10. Paladranina: ?
11. Warecs II: lvl 14: Died in Westfall. A Fleshripper attacked and killed him during DC.
12. Warets. Burning Steppes - level 50 just got Last Year's Mutton.
13. Warecs III: lvl 53: Died in Burning Steppes. He was killed by 3 wolwes and 2 orcs while catching fireflies. Playtime 4 days 3 hours+
14: Paladrina II: Died at lvl 16 to doorbell distraction.
15: Paladrina III: ?
16. Paladrina 4: level 36 One-shot by Warrien Warrior, Moonglade Playtime: 1 day 14 hours 29 minutes
21 - Mizu: Vultros in Westfall at level 15.
31. Mizu, 24 - Rare in Duskwood

Not really a death rage - after a long day at work for some reason I thought my talents must have reset so I added them back on .. to my level 54 Greenman … totally gutted! Torn between just carrying on to see how high I can go without dying or just chucking heirlooms on |

Not really a death rage - after a long day at work for some reason I thought my talents must have reset so I added them back on .. to my level 54 Greenman … totally gutted! Torn between just carrying on to see how high I can go without dying or just chucking heirlooms on bummer… There is a addon called Hidetalentalert that prevent the icon from flashing

Now I have killed my Pacifist, Fredeligst level 44, and my monk, Mizudaijuuichi at 33. Mizu had also carelessly equipped pink ears from Easter holidays  It was not always green and a part of her armour set. So I can't even add her to the lists. I have equipped Purple festive dress in pure spite and will keep her standing there, mocking me. This is not so much a raging post, as a /cry post. I want to have fun, not to start over for ever. |
