Oneru here, first time poster only just starting out on Ironman challenge. Levelling an Undead hunter (Gangtie), my new challenge already ended at 26. I was in Hillsbrad Foothills and thought I'd pull Yetimus the Yeti-Lord to Tarren Mill to get him ganked by the guards. It was so easy as hunter so far, I got cocky... turns out he has a jump attack, dazed me (in Aspect of the Cheetah) and killed me in three hits.
It's been a long time since I was so angry at dying in-game, especially because it was such a stupid mistake. Overconfidence of a first-timer, I guess. I love it though, been a long time since I've been this involved in any character (apart from my main)!
Going to start another character tomorrow. Man, I love this!

Yetimus is really though, there are pages on these forums about quests and mobs to avoid
Iron play is really more fun imo. Can get quite addictive. My current is lvl 59 (should get 60 tonigth); it's my 28th iron toon, of which only 5 made it to 60, and only 1 got past lvl 70

Another mad person and, yes, that Yeti is far more powerful than expected. Nice to see that ironman is still infectious and I totally agree with Xaya. Welcome aboard Oneru.

Most who are on this board probably saw my entanglement in the Dangerous Quest / Mobs thread so not going to rage about it here...  Just recommend avoiding the Blasted Lands' Demon Quest as that can be engaged by anyone and lethally kill you through no fault of your own. I'll save the explicitives and just start anew! Good luck to all who continue to take up the adventure! |

I've never tried that quest on a iron, and after seeing your video I'll definitely not try it

Very sorry to see you died due to quest mechanics, Link. Hope you have more luck on your next attempt!
I've decided to stop trying hunter for a bit. Because the pets are so good now (since they automatically have talents), it is not only boring, but also rather easy, which makes me lose focus. Everything goes smooth and I forget I'm playing Ironman, so I take too many risks and die to stupidity (why did I even try to do elite rambo quests in Redridge -.-).
Decided to try my hand on Rogue for a bit. That should be a lot more difficult, so I guess it'll keep me sharp.

Previous deaths:
- Ashenvale Barrow Den, there is a Druid NPC in cat form there who I pulled without realizing that he kicks serious butt.
- Capstone quest in Un'goro Crater, I failed to research this quest before starting...it puts you on a vehicle of some kind, with a giant Devilsaur chomping at your heels the entire time. Without knowing how to properly execute the quest mechanics, I died.

This is not raging more like "Bugger"! My monk made it to leve 15, and was zapped by that blue fleshripper in Westfall. I hate those linear/phased starter zones, (have never made Worgen nor Goblin) so I have to pull together all my monking mojo before I'll roll a new monk. But I want to ... Today I had my revenge. Aonomizu at level 15, discovered Vultros and killed her in Westfall. Revenge is sweet! |

Senny was doing so well she decided it would be a really good idea to do Prime Slime at level 33.
